"Lovely staff, but the water dispenser is a ”tall” order. The staff really go out of their way to help. Only problem was the water dispenser. It’s placed on a table, making it tower over me. As a short girl, using the hot water felt a bit like a stunt from a movie 😂 I was terrified of a hot splash to the face! It would be much better if it were placed at a lower, safer height. And also location prefectly in heart of bentong, walking distance to Bukit Do.. everywhere. Nasi Kandar 24h across the street."

With free parking and clean rooms, it's a solid option for those looking for convenience without breaking the bank. Overall, my experience was a bit disappointing. I had informed the staff a day prior that I would be checking out at 5:30 a.m., and I was told that the front desk operates 24 hours. However, when I went down in the morning, there was no one at the counter. I waited from 5:30 a.m. until 6:10 a.m., and there was still no staff available. During that time, I repeatedly called the number listed on their official website (+60 10-921 2677), but no one answered. At 6:10 a.m., I sent a WhatsApp message with my bank account details and left. The staff only replied around 6:30 a.m., and my deposit was immediately transferred to my account, which I appreciate. Still, I hope the management can improve their coordination and ensure that the front desk is staffed as promised, especially when guests have notified them in advance. Thank you."

"Facilities: The facilities are quite complete. It was a weekend when we went, so there were a lot of people at the pool. The water looked yellowish and smelled strongly of chlorine, so we didn't dare to use it. The elevators were a bit slow. The air conditioning and hot water in the room were both good. There's a Hard Rock Cafe upstairs. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, but on the first night, we found small cockroaches in our room. When we reported it to the front desk manager the next morning, she just said she would have staff clean and deal with it, and if we still saw cockroaches after returning to the room, they would give us a new room. I even argued with her that this wasn't about the room being dirty; cockroaches wouldn't just disappear after cleaning. But she refused to change our room. As a result, when we returned to the room in the afternoon, we found two or three more small cockroaches, so we went straight to the front desk. The assistant front desk manager in the afternoon had a much better attitude, apologized sincerely, and immediately changed our room. She even gave us her phone number and told us to call her directly if we had any problems. Environment: There are not many dining options nearby; it's more convenient to drive. The environment is quiet and secluded. If you stay in a mountain view room, you can see the mountains from the balcony."

"Booking at the same day and last minute, attract from the kids pool and room. Book for one studio room, and when arrive. They said the room is full and they upgrade to family room. My kids love that room so much and so big. Also the cleaness and facility everything is good. My kids got play at kids pool and other pool also.. we have so much fun and memory in here. Definitely will be myfav place whenever i come to genting highland in the future !!"

"Antara Hotel is relatively new, and we were genuinely impressed with our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. As both my husband and I are light sleepers, we always hope for a quiet environment when traveling, and the room we booked exceeded our expectations in that regard. One of our favorite features was the balcony with a lovely view. We spent the evening enjoying some beer and snacks while taking in the cool breeze, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the bedroom layout. Having a separate bedroom with a door helped reduce noise and made the stay even more restful. The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, clean, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. At a room rate of around RM400+ per night, it would be nice if hand towels or face towels were provided in addition to bath towels. Also, bottled drinking water is not provided. Instead, the hotel uses a water filtration machine that dispenses purified water directly from the tap. The location is connected to Genting via a link bridge, but be prepared for about a 15-minute walk. Younger guests will likely find it manageable, but I would not recommend the walk for elderly visitors. Fortunately, the hotel provides buggy rides to the escalator area, which helps save energy and is probably one of the most convenient services offered. Overall, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and offer good value for the price. If you prefer being just a few minutes away from your room while exploring Genting, you may want to stay at Genting Grand or First World Hotel instead. However, if you don’t mind a short stroll and prefer a quieter, more relaxing environment, Antara Hotel is definitely a good choice."
