GGuest UserFirst off, the location is great, and the front desk service truly exceeded my expectations! As soon as I got out of the car, the concierge proactively greeted me and directed me upstairs. Check-in was very quick, and they patiently answered all my questions about my stay, even going out of their way to arrange a quiet room. They weren't dismissive or perfunctory at all. The staff member was down-to-earth and genuinely helpful, not stiff or formal. My overall stay experience was significantly improved by the thoughtful front desk service. The breakfast was good too.

The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the mattress offers excellent support. The amenities are extensive, offering a comprehensive resort experience, especially the outdoor garden pool which is perfect for families with children. There's a wide variety of dining options, and the Chinese and Western breakfast has a good reputation. From her pre-arrival communication (asking about special requests, sending a guide beforehand) to her assistance during our stay (helping with issues and coordinating a late check-out), she made us feel completely at home. I've only experienced this level of butler-like service when staying at B&Bs, but Jenny at Huacai truly provided a personal concierge experience. She was incredibly thoughtful and attentive! 💗 The complimentary travel photoshoot offered by the hotel was also excellent. First, the photographer's skill was top-notch; I was initially worried I wouldn't like any of the shots, but they turned out really well! Second, the two ladies at the studio were incredibly professional and provided great service, with no hard selling and clear, reasonable pricing. Experiencing the photoshoot on our last day before check-out was the perfect way to conclude our wonderful trip to Huacai.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful experience during my stay here. Every staff member I encountered was warm, friendly, and professional. A special mention goes to the team at the Langham Club on Level 42 and the bar on Level 43. In particular, Amber was exceptionally hospitable throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to accommodate my special requests and ensure I felt well taken care of. I am also incredibly grateful to Kevin, the intern at Level 1, who was an absolute lifesaver. He assisted me with my Taobao parcels, helped with my luggage, and even helped me make restaurant reservations when I was unable to do so without a local phone number. His willingness to help and positive attitude made a significant difference to my stay. So grateful to meet these friends during my stay in Langham Haikou. The genuine hospitality and attentiveness shown by the team truly made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Thank you all for making my stay such a memorable one.

MMadeliliweiThe service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. First, they upgraded our room upon check-in. When we noticed a strange noise from the air conditioning, they immediately sent a technician to fix it. They even offered to change our room if we weren't satisfied, which was very prompt. Second, a package arrived at the smart locker before we checked in. The staff, upon learning this, informed us that the locker was quite far away and proactively went to retrieve it and deliver it to our room. That was incredibly thoughtful! Third, even the cleaning staff were wonderful. They'd ask what you needed and were happy to help with any requests. However, there are a few drawbacks: First, there's no direct beach access from the hotel, nor is there a beach right across. You have to walk about 10 minutes to get to it, with one side being rocky and the other being the sandy beach. I'd recommend taking a Didi (ride-sharing service) because it's too hot and tiring to walk. Second, the hotel's recreational area isn't very large. While it's enough for younger kids, older children might find the facilities a bit limited. Third, despite the cleaning lady's friendly attitude, the room wasn't as clean as it could be. I mentioned to her that there were ants on the floor, especially in areas that weren't mopped due to the humidity, which was quite noticeable.

AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious with a beautiful view of the sea outside the window, offering a comfortable sight of the distant Century Bridge, which was rather spectacular. Hygienics: The hotel is a bit old, but the basic cleanliness is acceptable and standard. Staff: Polite and enthusiastic. When we arrived by taxi, the staff proactively opened the car door and handled our luggage. They did the same when we left. They greeted us politely, and because we entered and exited the hotel multiple times during our stay, the reception staff at each entrance would come forward to open the car door, greet us politely, and had a friendly attitude. They were all very dedicated. Breakfast: It was quite rich. We had breakfast around 10:00 AM, and when food ran out, it was quickly replenished. The food was fresh and distinctive. The host at the entrance, the one with the 'blessed' demeanor, saw children running and would politely tell them to slow down, then spread his arms to escort them from behind. The more efficient staff member enthusiastically showed us to our table and was eager to assist whenever we needed help. The staff all had smiles and high spirits. The auntie at the noodle station was polite in answering questions and even asked about our preferred toppings. The chef at the omelet station also greeted us politely. Overall, many positives. Drawback: The room's air conditioning wasn't cold enough. When the fan speed was at its highest, the noise was very loud. We later adjusted the fan speed to medium, which was barely acceptable but didn't affect our sleep. I've written all this so that future guests can see a genuine review before checking in.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly polite and friendly, and check-in was super efficient; there was no long wait, and they thoroughly explained everything I needed to know. The moment I walked into the room, I felt at ease. The entire place was spotless – not a speck of dust or stain on the floor, desk, or vanity. The bedding was crisp, fresh, and odorless, and the duvet was soft and cozy, making for a truly comfortable rest. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and the hot water was consistent and plentiful. All the toiletries were well-stocked. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I barely heard any noise from the hallway or outside, which meant I could get a solid night's sleep after a busy day. The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for getting a taxi, dining out, or running errands. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The facilities are well-maintained; the air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi all worked perfectly, and the stable internet speed made working a breeze. When I had a small request mid-stay, housekeeping responded quickly and the staff patiently helped resolve the issue. Compared to other hotels in the area, the value for money is outstanding, with no hidden fees. I'll definitely book here again for future business trips to this area and highly recommend it as a top choice for business travelers.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is very close to the sea. You can hear the sound of the waves in the room. When you lie on the bed, you can see the swimming pool, coconut trees, and the beach. I especially like the hot spring swimming pool here. I don't want to leave. I have lived here since 2002. It was very ”aristocratic” back then. Now there are more hotels on the west coast and fewer people here, which is exactly the advantage here. It is very quiet. You can be in a daze here and think about problems. There is no cafeteria here. It is perfect to go to the nearby Fushan Cafe for breakfast, and go to the nearby Sheraton for afternoon tea in the afternoon. Before and after dinner, walk along the wave line outside the hotel to the Sheraton. It's not that you can't afford to stay at the Sheraton, but it's more cost-effective to watch the sea, listen to the sea and touch the sea here.
