MMulanciyuanThe views from Sofitel Haikou are absolutely stunning! The sky lobby on the 35th floor offers direct panoramic views of both the city and the ocean, and the buffet restaurant on the 34th floor also features floor-to-ceiling windows. The location is incredibly convenient, close to Sky Mountain and the Cloud Library, and right next to MixC shopping mall, making shopping and dining super easy. The front desk staff arranged a fantastic room for us. We'll definitely be back!

Ooliviali babyThe lobby and other public areas are grand and comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. Family Activities: 1. Free rental of sand digging tools brought much joy to the children. A 5-10 minute walk leads to a private, fine sand beach and an endless ocean. 2. The dedicated children's pool is thoughtfully designed with depths of 0.3m and 0.5m, allowing toddlers to play freely. The water quality is good, and there's a daily record of water quality and temperature checks. Life jackets are plentiful, with staff members at almost every corner. A particularly nice touch is that the shared towels are warm from being dried, making them feel very clean. 3. The organized family activities are well-planned and engaging, with staff members actively guiding the children. Pros: 1. The rooms are spacious, and you can enjoy sea views right from the balcony. 2. The staff at the front desk, concierge, restaurant, and recreation center are enthusiastic and responsible. 3. The Marriott star standards are consistently met, from the lighting to the lawns and pool setups, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Cons: 1. The room facilities are old and emit a strong, musty smell. 📞 After providing feedback, I was initially told, 'This is normal for a seaside city,' as if I should just accept it. 📞 After clearly stating that I couldn't accept it, a dehumidifier was brought to the room ['improvement measure offered']. 📞 After contacting the butler, an effective solution was provided immediately: we were moved to a room with a relatively more comfortable smell. 2. In both the original and replacement rooms, the doors were heavy and lacked magnetic catches, making them difficult to hold open or close easily. 3. The cleanliness of the public areas outside the rooms was quite poor. Dining: The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety, with each dish having a unique flavor. There were Cantonese favorites like rice rolls, Mexican-style grilled meats, carefully prepared congee and dim sum, and a diverse selection of noodles. The highlight was definitely the wide array of Western pastries. Overall: This is a child-friendly hotel that's great for family vacations and relaxation. However, if you are sensitive to smells or suffer from rhinitis, there is significant room for improvement regarding the room odors.

GGuest UserThis time I stayed at Langting on a friend's recommendation. The hotel's decor has a very British feel to it, and I saw many young women taking photos there. The room was super comfortable, and the elevator was incredibly fast. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive. They not only introduced Qilou and the surrounding food and attractions but also provided a Haikou travel and food map. The swimming pool on the 6th floor is perfect for sunset photos. I'll definitely come back to experience it again next time I'm in Haikou!

GGuest UserI stayed here for a vacation and it was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's front office staff were wonderfully kind and attentive, and the room attendants ensured the facilities were plentiful and well-maintained. All the recreational equipment was in good working order. The hotel restaurant offered a delicious breakfast with a great variety, and the restaurant staff were excellent too. Parking was free. The interior was clean and elegant, the environment quiet, allowing me to cast aside all my worries. It was a very comfortable stay.

GGuest UserService: First, I want to commend Lesly Huang for her enthusiastic and professional service. On the day of check-in, she arranged a room upgrade for us and seamlessly joined the twin beds, which made for a very comfortable sleep – truly the biggest bonus of this stay. The pool staff were also excellent, patiently accompanying the children to switch the water slide on and off, even under the hot sun. The restaurant staff were equally warm and accommodating. Kudos to the Sheraton Haikou for its excellent service! Cleanliness: Standard five-star hotel level, no issues there. Environment: See the pictures for details. The pool has large slides, separated for children and adults (operating during specific time slots daily), and there's a hot spring pool in the evening (very relaxing). One minor complaint: the hotel clearly has East and West wings, and the restaurant also has two entrances, but only the West wing entrance was open. We walked all the way from the East wing to the restaurant door, only to find a 'closed' sign, forcing us to turn back (either by going up and down floors or walking around the perimeter under the scorching sun). I suggest clearer signage on the path from the East wing to the restaurant. Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit older, the room equipment is generally well-maintained. Only some rooms have TV casting capabilities, so if you need this, inform the front desk in advance. The breakfast restaurant's tableware was the biggest letdown of this trip. For a five-star hotel's noodle bar, all the bowls were chipped. On the first day, I almost cut my mouth. Over two days, I picked up 4-6 chipped bowls – even an ordinary restaurant wouldn't do this. See the pictures for details. Not only was it unappetizing, but it also posed a safety hazard. I asked the restaurant manager, who said it was a quality issue with this batch of bowls, purchased only three months ago. It's unacceptable for a Sheraton to still be using bowls in this condition after three months. PS: The hotel is directly connected to the beach, no need to cross any roads. It's a 5-minute walk through the hotel grounds from the lobby to the sea. It's convenient for digging in the sand, and the beach is managed by the municipality and seemed quite clean. So, for a family vacation in Haikou, the Sheraton is still recommended.

GGuest UserThe hotel's facilities are quite good. I booked a family room, which came with three single beds. The original room probably had two, and the additional bed wasn't a foldable one, it was just like a regular bed, which was a nice touch. The view from the king-size room is as shown in the picture – it doesn't compare to Sanya or Wanning, but it's decent enough considering the price. However, there are a couple of things I need to complain about: 1. The light switch in our room stopped working one evening, already past midnight. I had to call the front desk to get a technician to fix it. Thankfully, it was fixed quickly, but it was quite frustrating late at night. 2. Out of the three guest elevators, it seemed like only one was working. We kept using the same one repeatedly, and the waiting times were incredibly long, which significantly impacted our experience.

Changying Global 100 Fantawild Wonderland (First Entry Ticket): The park is a bit far, but if you have some free time, it's worth checking out. The overall environment was pleasant. I went during the off-peak season, which made the price very reasonable. Definitely recommended.

The bedding was incredibly comfortable; after 4 days and 3 nights, my back felt perfectly fine. I didn't even get a chance to ask what brand it was. Hygiene: Excellent, with a few minor imperfections. Service: The customer service auntie was incredibly enthusiastic and flawless. I genuinely felt her professional attitude of ”serving you” came from the heart, and I'm very grateful! However, at check-in, she seemed a bit tired. Her demeanor was gentle, but she only briefly mentioned breakfast. I also noticed the complimentary Qilou photo shoot service wasn't explained or offered, and I was too lazy to ask and make a reservation. This could be improved... Environment: Very close to the sea, but the weather wasn't great, so the sea view was quite ordinary. I absolutely loved the room design, and all the amenities were very comprehensive. These are my honest personal feelings. Overall, the stay was very smooth!

GGuest UserA hotel with unique South Asian style, warm service, stunning scenery, comfortable hot springs, and private beach 🏖️, you can’t get enough of it after just one glance! I have never dreamed of going there again, and I have the idea of retiring and living here forever! There is such a beautiful place in the world! Love it, love it! Will definitely go again and relive the dream! What is particularly worth mentioning is that while we were in the hotel, we encountered Typhoon Capricorn, the largest typhoon in history. The hotel staff repeatedly warned us to pay attention to safety. The leader of the local tourism bureau (Deputy Director Cai Fuxiong) also mobilized me to move to the city center many times. And before the typhoon came, he drove my family of three to a hotel in the city center in the wind and rain. Special thanks! I think it was thanks to Deputy Director Cai, otherwise the consequences would be serious. I originally booked five nights, but only stayed for two. It was not enough! Looking forward to seeing you again!
