Located in Bensi Hutong, it's very near to almost all the tourist attraction. Walkable to Wangfujing area, or take a bike if you want to explore more areas. Very quiet at night, comfortable with a small bathtub that could fit 2 person. The exterior of the hotel is also beautiful. Very friendly and helpful staff, though there could be a language barriers, you could just use a translator. Would recommend this hotel, and would love to stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights at the Gubei Wtown Resort. The resort is probably one of the larger resorts within the area of Gubei Watertown.
Your coach or taxi will drop you at the Carpark (P2) outside the Watertown as no outside vehicles are allowed inside the Watertown. It is a short walk to the Visitor Centre where you can deposit your luggage and register for the hotel/resort/ boutique accommodation over here.
Please note ”no drones” are allowed beyond this point. They will screen through every luggage.
After which you can take the Watertown Shuttle to your resort which is only a couple of mins. If you have big luggage, they will send directly to the hotel you booked as well.
The resort is beautiful a blend with ancient Chinese design with modern architecture.
The room is immaculately adorned with traditional furniture, murals, artifacts and other traditional Chinese elements to exude the ancient town. It is very spacious too, truly luxurious!
We bought the package which includes daily breakfast for 2, a dinner for 2, a spa (onsen) for 2, a handicraft experience either Kite making or lantern making for 1 and the Simatai Great Wall Ticket for 2 (hike up).
There is a huge swimming pool within the hotel and a gym. Very under utilised. It is nice to have a swim after the Great Wall hike.
In short, it is a very memorable stay the resort worth every penny of it.

t’s a nice hotel, clean and the room is comfortable. It’s a bit far from the subway, though. The hot spring pools aren’t included in the stay and require an extra fee. They’re also quite small and usually very crowded. Breakfast is limited to only Chinese dishes, most of which are quite spicy, with no other options available. No fruit was provided either, which was disappointing.

The room is clean and comfortable with amenities provided including an iron and ironing board although there was a faint stench of smoke even though staff at the reception counter claimed that the hotel is non-smoking and offered to change the room if necessary. 5-min to metro Line 8, Beishatan station and just a few bus-stops away from the Olympic Park. What I enjoyed most was having supper Alfresco at Ya-ao restaurant. The ambience is good and the BBQ trotters, squid and scallops were delicious. Adjoining the hotel is a Spa, 喜汤-生活馆. The entry ticket is 39RMB inclusive of a simple breakfast. I booked two massage packages at the spa on ******* and found the services passable. For those like me who wished to have a taste of the local spa culture could consider this.

Finally found a fairy hotel with zero worries for taking kids! Royal Plaza Xishan Garden Hotel directly understands parent-child vacation ~ As soon as you enter the lobby, a little sister will give you a doll, and the baby will hold it and refuse to let go! The children's playground is simply a paradise for letting go, with a big slide, role-playing, and staff taking you to do handicrafts. Finally, you can go and play with peace of mind. The service is very attentive, the room is warm and clean, the check-in efficiency is very high, and every staff member you meet in the hotel is warm and friendly. The breakfast is rich, the equipment and facilities are complete, the location is convenient, the travel is convenient, the breakfast is rich, and I will choose here next time I travel.

Loved this hotel. Great location with a view of the Great Wall from the beautiful pool. The room is really nice with a patio. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed both. Our stay included the park entrance fee and hot springs. We really liked walking around Watertown and had lunch at one of the shops. We took a cable car right before sunset to the Great Wall, and after a hike reached the Wall. It wasn't crowded and we spent quite a bit of time there before heading back down. At that point it was getting dark, and the lights on the Wall came on. Very beautiful sight, and we got great pictures. I would love to come back to this hotel and area again when we have more time.

The room is very clean and the waiters are polite. The breakfast restaurant seems to be contracted out. It is not up to the standard of a professional restaurant. Both in terms of hygiene and service staff. The apples and pears are black and oxidized. They are basically inedible. The coffee beans are sour and bitter. If you can't afford better coffee beans, you can actually skip the coffee machine. The bean sprout fried chives are delicious. The chef's skills are recognized, but the management is average.

The boss was very good. I asked him on WeChat if a double room would provide two quilts. He directly arranged a standard room for me and gave me two beds 🛏️, which was very awesome.
Although we didn't arrive until 10pm on the 28th, we were still escorted to check in by staff and had to take a photo of our ID card and upload it, because the Public Security Bureau has strict management.
Facilities: The kitchen and bathroom are complete, but there is no place to put clothes, so they can only be piled in front of the TV. The socket switches are blocked behind the bed.
Hygiene: Average, the bed may not have been cleaned.
Environment: The space is a bit too small, maybe the original design was for one bed, the aisle is also narrow, after coming here so many times, this room and the windowsill outside are the smallest.
Service: The service attitude is particularly good 👌🏻
There is a convenience store nearby. The sandwiches are not delicious, but the vegetable salad is good. Remember to buy salad dressing separately. There is nothing wrong with Dianbing Dianjiang except that it is a bit expensive. The beef noodles for 38 are delicious😋

It’s was really nice stay at XishannHot spring hotel, there a lot of things to do for families. It was me, my wife, our two kids of 7 years old. Beside the many swimming pools they have two indoor parks and many activities going on almost 24h! It was a really nice stay! Hotel was clean, the food was good, good organized and room well maintained! There are two things I think could be better, first is the food menu is 100% Chinese, so no western options, I think they could have some options to make easy for western kids and families. And second is the fact that all instructions and all staff speak only Chinese, so I think they should at least translate all instructions at hotel, swimming pool, indoor parks to English, these would make the stay even better!

Exceptional Luxury and Service at The St. Regis Beijing
My recent stay at The St. Regis Beijing was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the signature St. Regis service that truly sets this hotel apart.
The location is ideal, situated in the heart of Beijing’s diplomatic and cultural district, providing easy access to major attractions like the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and high-end shopping areas. Despite being in the center of the city, the hotel offers a serene escape from the bustling streets.
The rooms and suites are exquisitely designed, blending classic elegance with modern comfort. The plush bedding, luxurious furnishings, and well-appointed amenities made for an incredibly comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the room decor and the stunning city views further enhanced the experience.
One of the standout features of The St. Regis Beijing is its legendary butler service. Available 24/7, the butlers are attentive and always ready to assist with anything from unpacking luggage to arranging personalized experiences. Their professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction are truly remarkable.
The dining options are equally impressive. Breakfast at The Garden Court offered a delightful selection of both Western and Chinese delicacies, while Celestial Court serves some of the finest Cantonese cuisine in the city. The St. Regis Bar is a must-visit, offering the signature St. Regis Bloody Mary with a unique Beijing twist.
Overall, The St. Regis Beijing is an outstanding hotel that combines timeless luxury with modern convenience. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this property offers an unparalleled level of comfort and service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly refined experience in Beijing.

AAnonymous UserCame here to play with ice and snow, but the ice park was closed, but the snow park was. Came here with children and the elderly, and booked a suite and standard room in the VIP building. The VIP building is newly renovated, the environment is very good, the lobby is large and grand, but there are relatively few guests, even on weekends. You have to drive to another building to eat and soak in the hot springs, which is a bit far to walk, and the snow park is closer to the dining place. It is worth praising that the staff of the snow park have a good attitude, a good experience, and everyone is very enthusiastic. It is worth complaining about the toilet in the snow park, which is a simple one, cold and unclean. There is only one, and you have to queue. It would be better if the snow park opened a few cafes with better environment. There is a small beverage shop with a very bad environment, which is very crowded. The elderly were sitting inside waiting for us to play with snow, but later they felt uncomfortable and went back to the hotel room. . . It is close to the city, and it takes more than an hour to drive there. . .

GGuest UserThe room environment is very good, the service is especially considerate and thoughtful, and the stay is very comfortable. The surrounding Panlongshan Great Wall is also worth visiting, and it is a completely different experience from climbing the repaired Great Wall such as Badaling. This itinerary experience is particularly good, and I will go there often.

VValerie GailThis hotel is pretty good. I wanted to find a hotel that had a warm kids pool so I could take my daughter to swim. The kids pool is pretty big and the temperature is perfect. As you can only enter the hot spring area once, I was able to let my daughter nap on my lap while my husband and I had some fruit and drinks at the seated area without having to leave the hot springs.
The room is spacious and mostly clean. However, I wouldn't say this hotel is 5 stars. The decoration is outdated and needs to undergo refurbishment. The bath was dirty and had lots of things floating in it when we filled it up with water, so we had to empty and refill before washing in it. Then, when drying my daughter's hair with the hairdryer in the bathroom, the hallway light keep flickering and the hairdryer was cutting off. It seems there was some electrical problem with the socket. It started to make a spark noise and smelt like burning, so we had to quickly unplug the hairdryer for fear of it going on fire.
The location is in the middle of nowhere, so it's not convenient if you want to buy food or snacks. i personally didn't like the hotel breakfast. It doesn't compare to other international brand hotel standards.
Overall, it would a pleasant stay, but only because it was suitable for my daughter to swim..

KKHENG HENGHotel room was great with ample space even for 3.Directly Connected to the hot spring which we can enjoy all day. Hence, you don't have to worry about cold weather. This hotel is near Daxing airport. Cost around 50 to 60 RMB by Didi app. Hotel breakfast has good selections, esp. The 煎饼 is nice. I also like the Chinese 小菜。Service is excellent , esp the waitress 杨丽彤 wo served our table. Good hotel choice for those who want to stay near airport but away from the buzzling city

AArijanaLove this resort! We stayed for one night to visit Mutianyu Great Wall - definitely recommended doing it this way than driving in one day from Beijing. Resort is beautifully designed to blend with the surroundings, photos don’t do it justice! Our room had a view of the Great Wall which was amazing! Rooms are nicely furnished with great little touches (eye mask, extra heaters, fruits, roasted chestnuts:). Breakfast was a al carte in their bistro and it was very well prepared. You can also have drinks or free tea/coffee during the day. We had a dinner in the Vietnamese restaurant in their sister resort next door, another beautifully designed place, food ok.
Hotel service was great (esp. Stanley), they offered free drop off and pick from the Mutianyu entrance (use WeChat to call for pick up). Also, they gave us free tix for art & architecture museum in the village - 5-10 mins walk, do visit if you can, museum is very contemporary, again great design, but still somehow sits nicely in this sweet village.
Getting to resort with DiDi was painless, about CNY230 one way (premium car), about 80mins.

GGuest UserThe time spent at the Grand Bay Beijing Hotel was simply fabulous. I am a very experienced traveler and have been to dozens of countries, but I can confidently say that this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Every area here is thought out: a high-tech room of impeccable cleanliness with a pillow menu to choose from and 6 lighting options. Excellent dietary cuisine in the restaurant and a huge selection of dishes for breakfast. Very polite and customer-oriented attentive staff, they helped me with absolutely all my requests! But, of course, the highlight of the hotel is the impressive healing Ayurvedic center! The Head of the center, Dr. Balan is an experienced Ayurveda guru, with a tailored comprehensive program and the center's team, helped me restore my nervous system, restore immunity, and diagnose a chronic ailment that affected my quality of life, and all this just in 6 days! I mostly recommend this hotel to tired, overloaded residents of megacities, here you will simply find yourself in paradise! I will definitely come back more than once, huge thanks to the management and staff of the Grand Bay Beijing Hotel, who created this island of peace and relaxation on earth
BblueberylMagical place that we wanna visit again!!!
The staff were very helpful throughout the stay. Place was spacious, clean and neat, bed was comfortable, which was important for travellers to rest adequately 🤗 at night we could even see the clear starry sky and did Stargazing at the courtyard.
The breakfast was beautifuly presented and delicious too. The cafe visit is a must. There was a mini farmyard there where there were 3 goats that guests were freely playing with and touching. The setup and deco were so beautiful that you will end up spending hours there taking pictures or admiring the views. Many locals seem to visit the cafe for the food and beautiful aesthetics as well. The coffee were beautifully presented - and I didn't expect they will taste so good! The mix were refreshing and simply awesome.
Location was very ideal too. Convenient to the Great wall entrance - took about 5min by taxi.
Overall happy with my stay here, and I'd definitely recommend it to all travellers! This is the best place we've stayed in our trip to Beijing. Simply beautiful and magical.
