Kyoto Subway Map: Lines, Stations, Fares, and Routes to Top Attractions

Kyoto Subway Map

Kyoto has many temples, shrines, and traditional neighborhoods, but they are spread across different parts of the city. The Kyoto subway makes some journeys faster, especially when roads and buses are crowded. With only two subway lines, the system is much easier to understand than the train networks in Tokyo or Osaka.

❤️ Pro Tip: Book your flights from Manila to Osaka and Kyoto hotel early for more choices and better rates. Kyoto has no major commercial airport, so Kansai International Airport is the main gateway for many Filipino travelers.

Overview of Kyoto Subway Lines

Overview of Kyoto Subway Lines

It is a very nice hotel with attentive staff! The hotel is about a 7 minutes walk from Kyoto station. It’s a very convenient place to stay if you’re catching an early train or arriving from a late one. I don’t know if I’d recommend it for a longer stay since the area is quite boring. There’s plenty of restaurants and shops within the station but they’re very crowded and more expensive. It’s also quite far away from the main sights of Kyoto, so for a longer stay I’d recommend staying downtown. The included room amenities are good but nothing special. There’s shaving kits, towels, haircare, skincare, tea, water, and yukata robes (the robes are not souvenirs). There’s a pool, a spa area, and a restaurant, which all have an additional fee. My room was clean, but I found some scuff marks on the walls and a crack in my bathtub. From Kyoto station you can see Kyoto tower but it’s not an amazing sight hahaha. It takes about 25 minutes to downtown Kyoto from the hote

This hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of Kyoto's JR transportation hub. It's incredibly easy to find – just turn right out of Kyoto Station, walk about 100 meters, and take the elevator up to the second floor. You can also access the hotel directly from inside the station. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of shopping and dining options, and both subway and bus stations are very close by, making getting around a breeze. The hotel itself is well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, and the rooms are spacious, some even offering scenic views. Highly recommended!

Anyone visiting Kyoto should be familiar with this hotel because it's located right in the heart of the shopping district, which is incredibly convenient. The location is excellent; you step right out to Takashimaya, and there's even a direct connection from the hotel's third floor! The hotel also boasts a cafe, a supermarket, and a gym... perfect for young travelers! The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is also very roomy.

This was our first time staying in the Gion area, and Hotel the Celestine truly elevated the experience. The atmosphere is calm, elegant and very Kyoto. From check in to departure, everything felt smooth and professionally handled. The cleanliness was impeccable. The room was thoughtfully arranged with a perfect balance of modern comfort and traditional Japanese touches. Beds were extremely comfortable and the space felt well planned, not cramped like many city hotels. What makes this hotel special is the location. Stepping outside places you immediately in the charm of old Kyoto. Walking through Gion in the early morning before the crowds arrive was unforgettable. Service deserves special mention. The team was polite, warm and always ready to assist with genuine hospitality. A beautiful property for anyone who appreciates quiet luxury in a prime cultural setting. We would gladly stay again.

From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for a wonderful stay. When I first arrived, I noticed a sign that said, ”Quality over Quantity.” At first, I thought it was a bit unusual, but by the end of my stay, I completely understood what it meant. This isn't a typical chain hotel—it's family-owned, and that personal touch is evident in every detail. From the pleasant scent throughout the property to the modern, high-tech features, everything was thoughtfully designed. The rooms were spectacular, and every aspect reflected quality. The bathroom was spotless, the towels were plush, the sheets were incredibly clean and smelled fresh, and all of the amenities were top-notch. What truly set this hotel apart was the hospitality. Every morning and afternoon, the staff greeted guests with a warm smile as they came and went, making the experience feel welcoming and personal. I highly recommend this hotel. The owners and staff clearly take pride in creating an exceptional experience, and it shows in every detail. It was an amazing stay from beginning to end, and I would gladly return.

Great location with various transportation options nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. It's just a few minutes' walk to the shopping street in Sanjo. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. Breakfast had limited choices, but both the service and taste were satisfactory. The bathroom only provided toothbrushes and shower amenities, unlike other traditional Japanese business hotels that offer a full range of personal items. The lobby has a lounge area with complimentary 24-hour coffee, tea, and snacks. The staff were friendly and spoke fluent English. A separate accommodation tax needs to be paid upon check-out.

This is a venerable super five-star hotel with an excellent location, though it's a bit out of the city center, making it quite inconvenient for getting to sights, attractions, and dining. However, the hotel shuttle bus to Kyoto Station is a lifesaver. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, but it still retains its 40+ years of history and luxurious decor, now blended with modern, clean design elements. The rooms feature a modern design with wooden furniture, and the hotel environment is very pleasant. The lobby's public areas offer lounge sofas and coffee tables, as well as shared co-working desks, catering to various guest needs. It feels very vibrant, suitable for both leisure and business travelers. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the bedding is extremely comfortable. The hotel's overall architecture, with its red bricks and black grid windows, is both classic and contemporary, blending well with Kyoto's traditional wooden building style. The first floor houses a stylish small shopping center, Shinfukan, with trendy brands, which is quite interesting. I would definitely choose to stay here again. I'd love to know the brand of the mattresses and pillows, my daughter really enjoyed them!

I stayed at this hotel for the entire three-day trip to Kyoto. The location of the hotel is not bad. It takes a few minutes to walk to the Kamogawa River, and about ten minutes to walk to Takashimaya? Just take a walk. The variety of breakfast is incomparable to that in China. The bread is quite good. I also saw his bakery in Osaka Takashimaya. The room area is considered large in Japan, and the hygiene is also OK. Dyson hair dryer, free mask, whitening sensitive skin should be used with caution. The minibar gave a lot of small biscuits and fruits, and the taste is OK. There is no bottled water. It is said that the tap is direct drinking water and can only be boiled for drinking. The water flow of the tap is small, but the shower water pressure is enough.

The hotel is nested in a quiet corner, within walking distance of Sagaogurayama Tabuchiyamacho. Im however a bit disappointed with the limited facilites it offered when compared to the price we paid. We stayed in the Tsukinone Twin Room which is on the third floor of the building. The view is pleasant. The room is of decent size. Yet there were no public onsens. We need to pay YEN5000 for 45 minutes and there are only 2 private onsens. For more luxurious rooms with private onsen, the one I visited was on the ground level with no views as it were by the pathway to the reception , separated by wooden planks. We paid around Yen5000 for the breakfast in the hotel, Both western and japanese breakfasts were offered. We tried both. It is of standard. The 4 different juices presented on the top of the bento box was impressive. The vaccinity is pleasant. We could walk to the train station, the tourist rown area , the nearby parks and the world heritage sites. Nice area .

I absolutely loved the bathroom area! The shower space was great, and the bathtub was huge, big enough for two people to soak in comfortably. Breakfast was a highlight of my stay. I was so happy to see fresh melon and unlimited fish roe available at the buffet. It felt like a real treat! The room itself was a decent size, with enough space to open and store large suitcases. Excellent location in Central Kyoto, right in the heart of shopping district, plenty of food options, and a short walk to Gion on the East. Very near to Hankyu train station that goes to Osaka Umeda. Staff were so friendly, always smiling and ready to assist. Rooms on the smaller side, not sure if it's the layout that made it feel more cramped, but Japan hotel rooms are generally like that. Best thing about this hotel is the open air natural hot spring! Amazing view of the mountains and you can even see Kiyomizu Dera temple in the distance. The water temperature was also not burning hot like some other public baths. There are complimentary drinks (including alcohol) on the rooftop terrace everyday from 4.30 to 6pm. Also free drinks from coffee machine all day in the lounge. I did not take hotel breakfast as I saw it is only simple bento box instead of buffet, so you can get better food outside.

This hotel is super close to Kyoto Station, just across the road from the south exit. I switched to this hotel for my last night from Kawaramachi so I could easily catch the Haruka train to Kansai Airport early the next morning. Familiar with the Roynet room layout, the room size was decent, and I could open my 28-inch suitcase without it getting in the way. Since it wasn't peak season, the price was very good. It's very close to Kyoto Station and AEON Mall. From Kansai Airport, you just take the bus and walk two blocks. The hotel restaurant serves excellent food, though the prices are a bit high; it would be even better if they could adjust them. The hotel is close to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient to get there by taxi.

I stayed here 10 years ago. The hotel looked exactly the same. It is a little bit on the old school side, but everything is clean and impeccable. The first day I arrived I had a stomach issue and the hotel was really kind and helped send fresh ginger tea up to my room and requested. They went out out of their way to find me fresh ginger. The second day I strained my back from lifting heavy luggage. They are once again very kind and send a staff to help me pack all my belongings and help me coordinate sending my luggage to Tokyo so I don’t need to lift it on the train. Special thanks to Naing Thiri who is so kind and help me pack everything so neatly and even help me get dressed Honestly, when I first checked in and the hotel looks a little bit outdated I was thinking maybe next day I would not want to come back but with the great service, I would definitely stay here again if I come to Kyoto

As an Amanjunkie, it's not just love at first sight; I genuinely adore the hotel's location, design, and ambiance – it truly didn't disappoint. Every corner of the hotel and every detail in the room's layout is perfect for an Amanjunkie like me, and the quality of the toiletries is outstanding. The restaurant is beautiful and offers a happy hour with complimentary drinks and snacks. While the selection isn't vast, with such a perfect atmosphere, who really cares? It's also worth mentioning that the hotel boasts a stunning indoor and outdoor hot spring, complete with a beautifully designed small lounge area – simply flawless. Compared to other Aman properties, though, I personally wouldn't recommend this one for a first-time Aman guest.

Very beautiful, hotel architecture is so unique - I love its old world charm, classic wall paper, large rooms and separate vanity area from the bathroom. It’s also conveniently located close to the convention centre with the mrt easily accessible to get you to various places. The staffs were super friendly and accommodating as well. We strolled around the nearby park, met friendly locals and visited the lake and hilltop cherry blossoms. Would definitely come back again.

I noticed this hotel's location on my last visit to Kyoto. It's incredibly convenient for Eikando, Philosopher's Path, Ginkakuji, Honen-in, Anrakuji, Shinnyodo, Eishoin, Chion-in, and Shoren-in – absolutely the best choice for autumn leaf viewing. The hotel is small yet exquisite, offering excellent tea sets and tea. It boasts a beautiful garden shared with Okazaki Shrine's別邸 (detached residence). The hotel facilities are also good (though unfortunately, no buckwheat pillows, and the air conditioning temperature was a bit uncomfortable and hard to adjust). The lounge has a nice view, serving only alcohol, coffee, and tea. I ordered a chestnut cake. The restaurant service was polite but lacked warmth. There's a large supermarket and a bus stop nearby, but restaurants are a bit further away, so I didn't go out in the evenings.

It's not a kimono, but a long dress-like(?) nightgown is prepared haha. I was very satisfied with my one night stay in Kyoto! Breakfast is served as a full Japanese meal, but I came to find out that you have to make a reservation 3 days in advance. It's a shame I didn't get to experience it. Had a perfect stay at Tennen Osaka Onsen during our Kyoto trip. The hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable while still retaining some traditional Japanese elements in the room design, which gives it a unique and authentic atmosphere. The water pressure was excellent, and the complimentary onsen facilities were fantastic, with several different pools available to enjoy. One of the highlights was the generous complimentary offerings, including free-flow ramen and ice cream, which were a lovely bonus after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast deserves special mention — it was absolutely outstanding. There was a huge variety of choices, all freshly prepared and delicious. The staff continuously refilled the food, ensuring everything remained fresh throughout service. The quality of the ingredients was impressive, and guests could enjoy unlimited freshly fried tempura and fresh seafood poke bowls, which felt more like a premium restaurant experience than a hotel breakfast. Overall, an exceptional stay with excellent facilities, amazing food, and great value. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

I had a great overall stay at this Osaka hotel, primarily thanks to its fantastic location which offers easy access to public transport and sits within walking distance of major tourism spots. While the room was quite small and the facilities were limited—which is expected for a 3-star property—the space was well-utilized and served as a convenient base for exploring. This branded hotel in Kyoto offers great value for money. Kyoto is home to many luxury hotels like Aman, Capella, and Park Hyatt, which can be quite pricey and are better suited for a staycation to truly immerse oneself in Kyoto's culture. For this one-night stay, I chose the Westin. It's a large, established five-star hotel. Although it's older, all the details are still very well-maintained. The hotel is within walking distance of Nanzen-ji Temple, and a short taxi ride to Kawaramachi Shijo and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. There's also a shuttle bus to Kyoto Station every hour at 10 and 40 minutes past, which is very convenient. I booked two rooms and they were assigned next to each other. They even gave us the rooms at 12 PM, and the rooms had balconies. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent, with many freshly prepared dishes. For a hotel of this caliber in Kyoto, the price is truly remarkable.

The room amenities are good enough, and the room size is reasonable for the price. The hotel is very close to Kyoto Station, making it convenient to travel to other places. There is also a Lawson convenience store right beside the hotel. The hotel provides early baggage storage service for guests who arrive before check-in time, and luggage storage is also available on the day of check-out. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great, and the onsen is perfect for relaxing after a long and tiring day of travelling. A few things that could improve the stay further: 1. The hairdryer could be upgraded, as the airflow is very weak. 2. The mattress and pillows could also be improved, as they seem quite worn out and have already started to sink.

This is a budget hotel aiming for something more—and they’ve genuinely succeeded. The room was probably the smallest we’ve ever stayed in (think sleeping on a boat or in an RV), but it was spotless and well designed. Every afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 the hotel offers a complimentary sake bar in the lobby.  They also offer an impressive selection of amenities: toothbrushes, razors, face masks, serums, bath salts, and more. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of variety. The onsen is O.K. and alternates between men’s and women’s use. We used the laundry and it is conveniently located and inexpensive.  It rained while we were there and they offered us umbrellas. The staff are friendly and helpful, without exception. The location is fantastic—just steps from Teramachi and Nishiki Markets, an easy walk to multiple train stations, and close to both the Gion and Pontocho districts. There are countless restaurants in every direction. On one of the afternoons during our four‑night stay, the hotel even hosted a free maiko (apprentice geisha) performance in the lobby, which was beautifully done.

Facilities: You have to walk through an alley to find the hotel entrance. Upon entering, you pass by the staff area. The lobby environment, facing a small courtyard, is quite pleasant. However, the quality of the Otowa Hall is mediocre. They claim to offer complimentary soft drinks and snacks, but in reality, there isn't much choice. The coffee machine area was cluttered with used coffee cups, making it look a bit dirty. Service: Hotel check-in time is 3 PM, but I arrived at 2:30 PM after some early shopping. The staff brought out some snacks and even knelt down to meticulously explain the hotel's layout and check-in procedures. Hygiene: I stayed in a Japanese-style room with a tatami mat. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the environment, but the bed sheets had a strong, stale odor. It felt like they weren't changed between guests... even perfume couldn't cover the smell. A trip to Arashiyama with my elderly mother during the spring cherry blossom season. It had been a while since I had stayed at a traditional inn. We stayed here for one night. It had a hot spring, a good location, and included dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious. - Bamboo shoot rice and firefly squid tempura for dinner... The portions were large, but it was a pain to finish it all at the end, which was disappointing, even though it was delicious. - The breakfast was perfect in both quantity and quality. The facilities: - The guest rooms are old, but well kept. - The open-air bath on the top floor was pleasant. I think the open-air bath needs to be cleaned and maintained a little better. The inn's staff are close to each other, so you can get a glimpse of how well they work. I hope that the inn will continue to be an easy place to work for both the staff who have been contributing for many years and the new staff. It was an inn that I would like to stay at again. (Next time, I might skip lunch just to have dinner.) Thank you very much for this opportunity.

The DoubleTree by Hilton was a convenient choice, located right near Kyoto Station, which made getting around super easy. With older kids, it's tough to find triple rooms, so that was a factor in our decision. The facilities were pretty standard, nothing spectacular, but the soundproofing was good – it was quiet at night. The hotel is located in Kiyomizu Gojo. Coming from Osaka, take the Keihan Line to Kiyomizu Gojo Station, exit 4, and the hotel is right across the street. However, the Special Express doesn't stop here; you'll need to transfer to a Semi-Express or local train at Sanjo. I originally booked this hotel hoping to be near the Kamo River for a morning stroll. While this section of the Kamo River in Gojo is less crowded, the scenery around Shijo Kawaramachi is much more beautiful for photos. The biggest convenience of this hotel is its proximity to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Yasaka Shrine, and that area. It's only a 15-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera and about 20 minutes to Hanamikoji. Getting to Takashimaya via the subway is also very easy, just a few stops. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the room easily accommodates two large suitcases without feeling cramped. The breakfast is worth the price, and all the staff are warm and friendly. They were always helpful when I asked them to call a taxi or borrow an umbrella, which made for a great experience. If you're tired from sightseeing, you can enjoy the onsen; the pool isn't large, but it's not overly crowded. Transportation: Full marks, the Tozai Line, Keihan Line, and Sanjo-Shijo Station are all next to each other. It is very convenient to go to Osaka (direct from Keihan) and Nara. There are no worries when it comes to finding transportation options. Shopping attractions: The hotel is located between Gion and Shijo shopping malls, and the walk can be controlled in about 10 minutes. Since it is close to the subway entrance and Kyoto's BUS system is very mature, it is very convenient to go to any other attractions from the hotel. Service: The service always shines. We want to cancel the breakfast for a few days that we have paid for. After confirming that it is operable, the hotel front desk will immediately help you arrange it on the same day. The positive feeling brought by this kind of service is very strong. Communication: There were two Westerners at the front desk we met. In addition to the Japanese reception on the first day, everyone's English communication skills were better than mine, which made up for my shortcomings in Japanese conversation skills. Room layout: A standard Japanese-style old building. The room is not big. It is very clean and comfortable. It is a bit regrettable that the window in the room is a false window. Although it faces the outside and has plenty of light, our room cannot be opened. of. Meals: We only tried the breakfast service in the hotel. Objectively speaking, breakfast is not its strong point, but they can accept cancellation services within a reasonable range. I still can't help but praise them for this. Summary: If you want to live in the ancient Gion old town, close to Shijo shopping mall, want to have very convenient subway transportation, and want to experience Japanese architecture, and finally need a certain cost-effectiveness, then this store is highly recommended. This hotel is fantastic! The decor is new and has a wonderful Japanese aesthetic. When you walk into the room, there's no unpleasant smell at all – it's very clean, and the bedding is super comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the room itself is long and narrow, so it can feel a bit cramped if you try to open two large suitcases. We booked for three people, and the hotel had already prepared a third sofa bed, which was great. The shower, toilet, and sink are all separate, which is a big plus; it's not like the cramped, 'space capsule' bathrooms you often find in traditional Japanese hotels. The hotel's service was also very good. Before check-in, I emailed them to confirm the private shower facilities in the room and the extra bed, and they responded promptly. I stayed for 4 nights from January 4 to January 8, 2026. From the hotel, you can walk to Nijo Castle in about 10 minutes. There are many small convenience stores nearby (7-Eleven and the like), as well as two large supermarkets — Life is open until midnight, which is a huge plus. You can buy nice gifts for friends and family late in the evening without wasting daytime hours. The transportation access is great too: within a few minutes' walk there's a subway station and a JR line (convenient for coming from the railway station), and right next to the hotel there's a bus stop. This is important because Kyoto's sights are scattered all over the city, and you often need to use public transport or taxis. Speaking of taxis. Twice I asked the reception to call me a taxi, and both times the staff helped me — a huge thank you to them! It was especially important on the first day: thanks to a taxi, I made it to Kiyomizu-dera Temple in time and explored it without rushing. Check-in was very quick, and the staff explained where everything was. The room was quite spacious — or maybe it just felt that way. I comfortably unpacked my suitcase and took out everything I needed without feeling cramped. The room had all the essentials, and there were kettles near the elevator that you could take to your room if needed. I did, and had some tea before bed (on the first floor, you can grab a free tea bag if you don't have your own). The air conditioner worked for both cooling and heating — which was very useful on some evenings. Honestly, I only used the hotel to sleep, and it was perfectly fine. Every morning, breakfast is served on the first floor. To be honest, I expected something simple since the room rate was quite affordable. That's why the breakfast was such a pleasant surprise! My eyes wandered every morning at the variety of delicious food! A huge selection. Every day I had rice with various toppings, amazing salmon, cod, and various vegetables (the okra here was especially good). There's a small smoking room on the first floor with good ventilation. My overall impression of the hotel is extremely positive. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The decor really added to the atmosphere of the place and there was a lovely communal area for relaxing. This offered different seating areas with access to free tea and coffee, a microwave and mini oven. The hotel is directly above a 7/eleven so it was very convenient for bringing in food to eat. There was a laundry room but it was very busy and the washing machine didn't sound very happy and the drying seemed to take people a long time. We were glad to have done washing before arriving here. The room was quite big and the bed was on a raised platform so cases could be stored underneath. It was very dark in the room because of the decor. We did sleep well. The bathroom was very modern and clean with a wet room style shower. All areas of the hotel were very clean throughout our stay and staff were visibly working to maintain a high standard. Kyoto was extremely busy at the time of our stay (during golden week) so we focused our visits to places that could be walked to or accessed from the Kiyomizu-Gojo Station on the Keihan Line. We did one trip that involved buses and it was horrendously busy with the longest queues at bus stops we've ever seen.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and its location right inside Kyoto Station is incredibly convenient. You don't really hear any train noise either, which is great. The rooms and overall environment are excellent. My only minor complaint is that the front desk staff seemed a bit perfunctory.

The room is spacious. Everything is great. Only they don’t have hot water dispenser. The cleanliness is superb. Location is very convenient for us, as it is near to everywhere. Not so near to the metro station but is okay, the walk is nice with beautiful surrounding with good vibes. Love Kyoto. Walkable to the beautiful karmo river

This hotel is super convenient, right next to Kyoto Station. If you exit Kyoto Station and head right, past the Kyoto Theater, you'll be there in no time. It's a lifesaver for anyone traveling with luggage, making transfers to the Shinkansen, bus, or subway incredibly easy. The room's layout was well-thought-out, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were spotless. Even for a standard twin room, it didn't feel cramped at all. Overall, the hotel was really good.

The location is good, and the room is decorated in a retro style. However, the room had a strong damp smell when I first checked in. There were many buttons for the shower, which made it a bit difficult to use; the water kept turning off, and I had to press them again – maybe I just didn't know how to use them properly… Also, on my first night, I left a vacuum-sealed comforter on the wardrobe (which I hadn't touched), and it suddenly fell off during the night, giving me a fright. The breakfast was quite nice. Overall, it was pretty good.

Nijo Castle Kyoto|1.53km from city center
I had a great stay at this hotel, especially as a manga fan. The room was clean, and I received fresh towels every day. Amenities such as toiletries could be picked up from the reception area, which was very convenient. The hotel also provides complimentary drinks 24/7, including water, coffee, and tea. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with buses that go straight to Kyoto Station, and the nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk away. The famous Nishiki Market is around a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel and a supermarket within a short walking distance, making it very easy to grab snacks, drinks, or anything else you might need. Popular attractions such as Nijō Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace are also within walking distance. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Beyond my expectations, this is a fantastic hotel, small yet exquisite. They offer a complimentary drink every day, which is perfect for enjoying a quiet evening away from the hustle and bustle. The public bath is incredibly clean; I had it all to myself for two out of my three-day stay, which was wonderfully relaxing. I'll definitely be back!

The room was definitely small but it was cheap, offering good value for money. It's located in the Kawaramachi area, right by the Kamo River, and it's about a 15-minute walk to Yasaka Pagoda, which is perfect for an early morning visit to avoid the crowds! They also offer a simple complimentary breakfast. There's a popular soba noodle shop nearby that I visited twice during my stay – it was delicious!

Super duper love this hotel! There’s free flow sake till 9pm daily. We stayed there for 6 nights and enjoyed sake almost every night. We even bought a box of sake when we checked out :) The room was big and comfy. There’s a washing machine inside the room, very convenient. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Kyoto next time 🙂

The hotel was quite new, clean, and well designed it a dark atmosphere, which makes it feel calm. The only downside might be the location, but still walkable from Kyoto Station and subway Gojo station.
