HOTEL MYSTAYS Kyoto Shijo

Great location, close to Daimaru, Takashimaya, Nishiki Market, etc. There's a Life supermarket downstairs and bus and subway stations right at the doorstep. It offers excellent value for money, is clean and comfortable. I often choose this place when I visit Kyoto. The service attitude is also good, and there's a Japanese staff member who speaks Chinese; otherwise, basic English communication is sufficient.

The room was quite spacious for Japan, with a desk, a small bar area, and enough space to lay out three suitcases. It was cleaned daily. The only minor downside was that the duvet was a bit too hollow and not very comfortable.

This stay completely exceeded my expectations, I have to give it a big shout-out! 1. **Cleanliness**: The room cleaning was exceptionally thorough. The tabletops and bathroom corners were spotless, there were no strange odors, and the toiletries were complete and clean. It made for a very reassuring stay. 2. **Service**: The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, proactively providing information on nearby attractions and dining routes. The cleaning staff were prompt with their service, providing attentive service without being intrusive throughout my stay. 3. **Facilities & Environment**: The room was spacious with great natural light. There was plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning, TV, and other facilities worked perfectly. The hotel as a whole was quiet, not noisy at all, ensuring a top-notch quality of rest. 4. **Location & Value for Money**: The location is excellent, close to commercial areas and transport links, saving a lot of travel time. The price is affordable, and the overall amenities far surpass other hotels in the same price range. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I've already recommended it to friends, and it will be my first choice for future trips!

The hygiene was excellent, and the hotel's location was truly fantastic. It's really close to all the lively spots, and you can easily stroll to the Kamo River. Along the way, there are plenty of shops, I genuinely recommend it. Our room was cleaned daily, and it was such a pleasant surprise to come back and find the staff had arranged our stuffed animals on the pillows.
