This is definitely a place you have to visit at least once. I've dreamed of going to Disneyland since I was a kid, and now I'm finally here. We were lucky, you could say: because of the typhoon, there were incredibly few people there, so we managed to go on all the rides we wanted without fast passes. The evening show is definitely worth staying for. I was completely impressed, and that's despite the fact that there were no fireworks. What Is Disney Premier Access at Shanghai Disneyland?
Disney Premier Access is a paid service that can provide:
- One-time priority access to a selected attraction
- Priority access to several attractions included in a DPA set
- Entry to a reserved viewing area for selected shows or parades
- Early Park Entry and priority entrance when included in an eligible DPA Deluxe Set
DPA does not include general park admission unless you purchase a package that specifically combines a Shanghai Disneyland ticket with DPA. Priority access can shorten the regular queue, but it does not guarantee immediate boarding or zero waiting time.
Each DPA is linked to one guest’s park ticket or Annual Pass. It cannot be shared, transferred, or resold. Guests aged three and above need their own DPA.

A Disney Standby Pass is not a free FastPass. It only gives you a return time to enter the standby queue. It may not be required every day, so check the Official App after entering the park.

Single Experience
This provides one-time priority access to one selected attraction or entertainment experience during its validity period.
Carefree and Adventure Sets
These sets include several attractions or entertainment experiences. The number of included experiences and their designated starting times can vary. Attractions in the same set may also have different starting times.
Always check the complete list of included experiences before paying because the available sets can change.
Disney Premier Access Deluxe Set
Selected Deluxe Sets include priority access to several experiences and a Premier Admission benefit. This can include priority entrance and entry through the Disneytown entrance up to one hour before the published park opening time.
The exact park opening time can change. Guests must check the Official App before visiting. Carefree Sets, Adventure Sets, entertainment experiences, and single experiences do not include this Premier Admission benefit.
Entertainment Experiences
Entertainment DPA provides one-time entry to a reserved viewing area for a selected performance or parade during the assigned return window. It does not provide unlimited access to all shows.

How to Buy DPA Using the Official App
Step 1: Download the Official App
Download the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App before your trip. You can create an account using a mobile number or email address.
The app also provides park maps, attraction wait times, entertainment schedules, ticket management, and trip-planning tools.
Step 2: Purchase Your Park Ticket
You need valid admission for the same visit date before purchasing DPA. Enter the guest’s information exactly as shown on the passport.
DPA alone cannot be used to enter Shanghai Disneyland.
Step 3: Link Your Ticket
Sign in to the Official App and scan the QR code on your park ticket or Annual Pass. You can also link the tickets of family members or friends and create one party.
For most same-day DPA purchases through the app, every guest included in the party must have already entered the park.
Step 4: Select Disney Premier Access
Choose “Buy Disney Premier Access” and select:
- A single attraction
- An entertainment experience
- A Carefree or Adventure Set
- A Deluxe Set, when available
Review the price, included experiences, designated starting times, height requirements, and validity period carefully.
Step 5: Select the Correct Guest
Each DPA must be assigned to the correct park ticket holder. The guest using DPA must match the photo and identity linked to that ticket.
The person completing the purchase must be at least 18 years old. At least one guest in the group must be aged 16 or above.
Step 6: Complete Payment
Full payment is required when booking. Available payment methods can depend on the sales channel, so check the options displayed at checkout.
Step 7: Redeem Your DPA
For attractions, visit the Priority Access entrance between the designated starting time and the attraction’s closing time.
For entertainment, arrive at the reserved viewing area during the return window shown in the app.
Show either:
- The DPA QR code under “My Plan” in the Official App
- The QR code on the linked park ticket or Annual Pass
Each DPA can only be used once for its selected attraction or entertainment experience.

Can You Book DPA Before Entering Shanghai Disneyland?
Some DPA products can be booked in advance after you have valid park admission for the same date. The available advance-purchase dates, products, prices, and inventory are displayed through the official sales channels.
However, guests purchasing Carefree Sets, Adventure Sets, entertainment experiences, or single experiences through the Official App on the visit date must generally enter the park first.

When Is the Best Time to Buy DPA?
There is no official guaranteed sell-out time. Availability changes according to the visit date, attraction status, and demand.
Consider checking DPA as soon as possible when:

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the elegant, luxurious, and comfortable American-style design – giant fresh floral arrangements and vintage wooden furniture, every snap looked like it was straight out of a magazine.
My top three delightful surprises were:
1. Every detail in the room hides a fairytale surprise! That light-up Mickey headboard gave my 12-year-old an unexpected and amazing experience, the emotional value alone was worth it!
2. Disneyland Hotel offers a ferry service to and from the park, a lifesaver for tired feet! If you get tired in the afternoon, you can head back to the hotel to rest, with ferries every 20 minutes, it's super convenient. Then you can go back to the park in the evening without any stress.
3. Every staff member is like a walking Disney map, even the cleaning staff can accurately help with directions.
My tried and tested magical tips:
Go for check-in at 8 AM sharp! If you don't specify a floor, I found you can get your room key and check in early.
The combo of a half-day ticket on the first day and an early entry pass for the second day is a great deal: enter the park at 3 PM to scout things out, and then during the evening fireworks, you can ride attractions without any queues.
Bring an empty water bottle! There's a water dispenser on every floor of the hotel, and it's super convenient to refill with drinking water in the park.

Parents bringing their kids to Disney, listen up! This original B&B by Mr. Gao & Ms. Feng is definitely worth saving! As first-time Disney visitors, our whole family had an unexpectedly wonderful experience:
**Space Magician**: The 40+ sqm space is incredibly well-utilized. The slide in the room made the kids scream with delight the moment they walked in! My 6-year-old and 4-year-old immediately turned the slide area into their secret base. Sleeping on the 1.8-meter main bed with mom was completely comfortable for both kids, and dad got plenty of rest on the bottom bunk of the 1.2-meter bunk bed.
**Parent-Child Detail Obsessive's Dream**: Corner protectors and outlet covers are fully equipped. The children's showerhead is at just the right height, and a thoughtful step stool is provided at the washbasin. Details truly matter here.
**Behind-the-Scenes Dedication**: The owner personally cleans all rooms and public areas. All linens are washed in-house, not outsourced. Toiletries, drinking water, and snacks are all high-quality brands, often the same ones the owners or their children use. So, features like a wet/dry separation bathroom, Laifen hairdryer, and JmGO projector, which would be praised elsewhere, almost go unnoticed here.
**Hidden Disney Tips**: The owner provided many practical tips for our park visit, saving us a lot of trouble! At checkout, my daughter was given a small drink, which she said tasted great, and kept asking her mom to buy more on the way home.
**Suggestions for Improvement**: I hope a detachable bed rail can be added to the side of the bed (for more peace of mind when sleeping with younger children). Providing stroller rental would be even better.
Although slightly more expensive than surrounding B&Bs, enjoying private butler-style service for 200 RMB per person is incredibly good value! We didn't get to experience the large lawn in the yard, the mini-pool in the backyard, or the rooftop terrace this time, but they've left us plenty to look forward to. Originally, I booked the Bell but got upgraded to the Ayesha. The Bell is that single red house with glass windows on the outside, which can get a bit damp on rainy days. The staff were all very warm, polite, and friendly. If you're a family of two adults and two children, it offers good value for money. The only downside is that getting a taxi can be a hassle; after leaving Disney, you have to walk to the ride-hailing pick-up/drop-off point. The hotel only provides one complimentary transfer. When taking a taxi back, be sure to pay attention to your location, as the buildings are quite spread out. I got dropped off at the wrong one and wasted 16 yuan unnecessarily. The location is located in the forest but there's no light surrounding during night . There are 3 pet dogs who live nearby (one of them is friendly). During winters the place is almost empty. Best for solo or couple travels. Sauna in winter is a must try. Overall the room needs a little repairing but it's not that noticable. The rooms are pretty large and provide all amenities. Each room is calm a provides a retreat for a peaceful vacation. The Breakfast lady is nice and hospitable. Breakfast included milk, croissant , a pastry an egg and a bowl of wontons. All snacks and fruits provided in room are complimentary. Overall a nice place for short weekend trip. In morning one can have a morning walk around forest or bike ( during winters the bike become a bit rusty though). The place also provides Kayaking in the nearby lake for 100 RMB / 3 hrs . It's best to enjoy kayaking in summers. Will visit here again. Also the place doesn't provide dinner but there are 2 nearby places providing good food. After considering many factors, from price to location to service, I ultimately chose the Courtyard by Marriott because of the Marriott brand, value for money, and service. It turns out my choice was spot on:
From the first night, when the hotel staff picked us up from the Bund to check in, I was impressed. Even though it's a 10-year-old hotel, the annual Marriott brand standard checks are clearly very thorough, as there were no signs of aging.
The next morning, the 5:50 AM shuttle took us to Disney. The very thoughtful reminder service was much appreciated. We even took the shuttle back to the hotel once during the day, and it was punctual and comfortable. That evening, we took the shuttle to Disney again to watch the fireworks. The last shuttle was at 10:30 PM, giving us an extra half hour after Disney closed to walk from the park to the parking lot. Overall, the service was excellent. On our last day, the hotel shuttle to Pudong Airport was driven by a very enthusiastic driver. The front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were all very kind. you get what you pay for. the hotel was old but relatively clean. the only issue we encountered was mold on the bathroom ceiling and sink and difficulty finding the free shuttle from disneyland, we ended up ordering a didi as we couldn’t find it. the breakfast buffet is big and is mainly chinese food and staff were nice but did not speak english so had to use translate. disneyland is less than 10 minutes away by carFromSEK 401

My stay at Million Stone was great overall. It had a wonderful Japanese garden ambiance, very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, giving off a perfect vacation vibe 🫰🫰🫰. Parking was super convenient, the room was spacious enough, and cleanliness was well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. The stay included access to the hot springs, so after a tiring day, soaking in the bath at night really washed away all the fatigue – super relaxing. The location is also very convenient, just across the road from Bicester Shopping Village with plenty of food options.
The staff were all very polite and efficient. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. It's really suitable for a relaxing weekend getaway, whether with friends or for a family vacation. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm in the area next time.FromSEK 967

Super satisfied! I booked this place thinking it would be convenient to rest after a day at Disneyland, and to my surprise, the hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Disney, which was incredibly convenient and quick.
The guesthouse room location is great, and the environment is pleasant. If you need anything, just ask the owner. They even have Disney headbands for rent, though I didn't borrow any. The owner has a cat and a dog, both so cute! The cat is the same age as Disneyland, so you can even pet the cat when you talk to the owner, hehe.
Overall, the guesthouse is very thoughtfully decorated. The room has a foot bath tub, perfect for soaking your tired feet after a long day at Disney, and the front desk even provides foot bath liquid. There's also a special plug-in card for electricity, which is really convenient. I booked a double room, and they provided two pairs of adult slippers and child slippers. The bathroom has disposable toilet seat covers, and there are disposable foot bath bags, which made me feel very comfortable. There's also a projector in the room for entertainment, though I didn't use it.

Extremely satisfied with my guesthouse stay! The room was spacious and well-soundproofed, and everything was clean and tidy. The amenities were even more comprehensive than a hotel's, they even provided disposable bathtub liners! Breakfast was plentiful too. The owner is the 'gets things done, no-nonsense' type – doesn't chat much or ask too many questions, but all your needs are perfectly taken care of. Since there's no elevator, the owner helped carry our luggage upstairs, and they arranged pick-up and drop-off to both the subway station and Disneyland. It's less than a ten-minute drive to Disneyland, and they even have strollers for rent through a partner, which was great value for money. A very satisfying experience overall. The lady is super friendly and helpful, but only speak Mandarin. no worries if you don't speak Mandarin as she will use the translator machine to translate it. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from Disneyland, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast from 7-9am, clean linens, complimentary water, a kettle, towels (7 for two), a toothbrush, hot water, and working air conditioning (we slept warmly).
There's a convenience store 50 meters away from us that's open all day until 9:30pm. The lovely woman working there makes delicious sweet buns. We paid only 33 yuan (less than 400 rubles) for a whole bag.
The hotel's location is slightly different from where the GPS showed us; the building is lower, by the water, but the owner's neighbor quickly called him and they picked us up.
The room is cleaned and always ready to help.
I don't understand why there are several bad reviews, because for the price, this place has everything!

- Valid only for the guest and ticket linked to the product
- Valid once during the stated validity period
Under the current official terms, an eligible DPA product may be changed to a new date up to two times. The replacement must have the same value, remain subject to availability, and be completed at least 48 hours before 00:00 on the original entitlement date.
If an experience in a DPA set closes because of maintenance or another unforeseen situation, the set price does not automatically decrease. Shanghai Disney Resort may provide an alternative attraction according to its terms.
