What Is Disney Premier Access at Shanghai Disneyland?
Disney Premier Access is a paid service that can provide:
- One-time priority access to a selected attraction
- Priority access to several attractions included in a DPA set
- Entry to a reserved viewing area for selected shows or parades
- Early Park Entry and priority entrance when included in an eligible DPA Deluxe Set
DPA does not include general park admission unless you purchase a package that specifically combines a Shanghai Disneyland ticket with DPA. Priority access can shorten the regular queue, but it does not guarantee immediate boarding or zero waiting time.
Each DPA is linked to one guest’s park ticket or Annual Pass. It cannot be shared, transferred, or resold. Guests aged three and above need their own DPA.

A Disney Standby Pass is not a free FastPass. It only gives you a return time to enter the standby queue. It may not be required every day, so check the Official App after entering the park.

Single Experience
This provides one-time priority access to one selected attraction or entertainment experience during its validity period.
Carefree and Adventure Sets
These sets include several attractions or entertainment experiences. The number of included experiences and their designated starting times can vary. Attractions in the same set may also have different starting times.
Always check the complete list of included experiences before paying because the available sets can change.
Disney Premier Access Deluxe Set
Selected Deluxe Sets include priority access to several experiences and a Premier Admission benefit. This can include priority entrance and entry through the Disneytown entrance up to one hour before the published park opening time.
The exact park opening time can change. Guests must check the Official App before visiting. Carefree Sets, Adventure Sets, entertainment experiences, and single experiences do not include this Premier Admission benefit.
Entertainment Experiences
Entertainment DPA provides one-time entry to a reserved viewing area for a selected performance or parade during the assigned return window. It does not provide unlimited access to all shows.

How to Buy DPA Using the Official App
Step 1: Download the Official App
Download the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App before your trip. You can create an account using a mobile number or email address.
The app also provides park maps, attraction wait times, entertainment schedules, ticket management, and trip-planning tools.
Step 2: Purchase Your Park Ticket
You need valid admission for the same visit date before purchasing DPA. Enter the guest’s information exactly as shown on the passport.
DPA alone cannot be used to enter Shanghai Disneyland.
Step 3: Link Your Ticket
Sign in to the Official App and scan the QR code on your park ticket or Annual Pass. You can also link the tickets of family members or friends and create one party.
For most same-day DPA purchases through the app, every guest included in the party must have already entered the park.
Step 4: Select Disney Premier Access
Choose “Buy Disney Premier Access” and select:
- A single attraction
- An entertainment experience
- A Carefree or Adventure Set
- A Deluxe Set, when available
Review the price, included experiences, designated starting times, height requirements, and validity period carefully.
Step 5: Select the Correct Guest
Each DPA must be assigned to the correct park ticket holder. The guest using DPA must match the photo and identity linked to that ticket.
The person completing the purchase must be at least 18 years old. At least one guest in the group must be aged 16 or above.
Step 6: Complete Payment
Full payment is required when booking. Available payment methods can depend on the sales channel, so check the options displayed at checkout.
Step 7: Redeem Your DPA
For attractions, visit the Priority Access entrance between the designated starting time and the attraction’s closing time.
For entertainment, arrive at the reserved viewing area during the return window shown in the app.
Show either:
- The DPA QR code under “My Plan” in the Official App
- The QR code on the linked park ticket or Annual Pass
Each DPA can only be used once for its selected attraction or entertainment experience.

Can You Book DPA Before Entering Shanghai Disneyland?
Some DPA products can be booked in advance after you have valid park admission for the same date. The available advance-purchase dates, products, prices, and inventory are displayed through the official sales channels.
However, guests purchasing Carefree Sets, Adventure Sets, entertainment experiences, or single experiences through the Official App on the visit date must generally enter the park first.

When Is the Best Time to Buy DPA?
There is no official guaranteed sell-out time. Availability changes according to the visit date, attraction status, and demand.
Consider checking DPA as soon as possible when:
- You only have one day at Shanghai Disneyland
- You have several must-try attractions
- You are visiting with young children
- Regular wait times are already long
- You want a reserved area for a specific show
On a quieter day, compare the live standby wait time with the DPA price before purchasing. You may be able to use regular queues first and buy DPA later, but availability is not guaranteed.

Except for the price, there's nothing wrong with the hotel. It's now 30% more expensive than the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, which is crazy! The staff were all very friendly and greeted us proactively. I accidentally left my car window open in the parking lot and only realized it the next day. A staff member had covered the window securely with a black plastic bag – I was so touched! We booked the Dreamy Fantasyland Room. Since my child is over 12, we paid an extra 299 RMB (I think that was the price), which was like a rollaway bed fee, and she happily slept on the fireplace bed. For the 10th anniversary, the room came with some small gifts, and since it was my birthday, I also received a birthday badge, stickers, and a small cake. To accommodate the 'Extra Hour of Fun' event on Friday and Saturday nights in July, Mickey Avenue was open until 11:30 PM, and the Star Gazer's Cruise also ran until 11:30 PM. The resort is beautiful, giving you the feeling of having a private estate all to yourself. It's very close to Disneyland, and there's a free shuttle available all the time from the hotel lobby to the roadside entrance. The front desk staff are absolutely wonderful – so warm and attentive. As soon as they see someone approach, they immediately stand up and ask if they need assistance. The two gentlemen at the front desk, pictured here, were especially great; seeing that we had two children, they even upgraded us to a family room. The hotel blankets are very soft, and the plants in the courtyard are stunning.
The only slight unpleasantness was at breakfast. The gentleman working in the breakfast area was incredibly kind, making sure no guest felt neglected, and even had his apprentice with him to train him. He was consistently enthusiastic. However, there was a 'Miss Grumpy' in the breakfast area who seemed to be in a bad mood, spoke unhappily, kept looking at her watch, and had a dismissive attitude, almost like she was looking down on people – a real 'Shanghai princess' vibe. I believe that if you're in the service industry, you need to have a service spirit and consciousness, not act as if you're superior just because you're in Shanghai. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff responded to our requests almost instantly and even went above and beyond to help coordinate my ******* food delivery. Since ******* drivers aren’t allowed to enter this area, you’ll need to pay a small additional fee for the driver to walk in. Our guest services team handled the communication with the driver and ensured the food was delivered directly to our room. We genuinely felt well looked after throughout our stay.
Another huge plus is the complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland, making this hotel an excellent choice for anyone planning a Disney trip.

This time, my experience was much better than last! The room had no strange smells, and the overall cleanliness was great. Even though it was still quite crowded this time (probably due to the summer holiday), everything was well-organized. Check-in was smooth, and I managed to catch the shuttle bus downstairs at 7:25 AM, though it didn't drop us off until around 7:40 AM after waiting a bit for it to depart. Still, pretty good!

We only left at 7:25 AM (because we were really pushing it with time, it was already quite late!). After waiting a bit, we were dropped off at the entrance at 7:40 AM. I recommend heading straight for TRON Lightcycle Power Run first – it's my favorite! However, when we got there, we already had to queue for half an hour, so if you can wake up earlier, definitely do so!
**Early Park Entry (up to 1 hour before opening):**
It was useful! We only rode TRON Lightcycle Power Run, which was great. But I managed to get a lot of photos with no other guests!
Also, while walking from Tomorrowland towards Toy Story Land, we happened to catch Mickey and Minnie doing their thing before the park even opened. It only took 8-10 minutes to queue, which I wasn't thrilled about. But the staff told me, 'Oh my goodness, you have no idea, it usually takes two hours to queue for this!' 📍 Location: Super close to Disney, about a 10-minute drive. The owner offers shuttle service, which is incredibly convenient!
🌳 Environment: The room is decorated very warmly, the bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is really well-maintained.
💁♀️ Service: The owner is so enthusiastic and thoughtful!
🍽 Dining: The breakfast selection is good, and everything tastes great.
💰 Value for money: Among guesthouses around Disney, the price is genuinely fair. It's hard to find such good facilities and service at a similar price point.

The B&B is relatively close to Disneyland. In the morning, the store is responsible for sending us to the entrance of the scenic area. Parents bringing their kids to Disney, listen up! This original B&B by Mr. Gao & Ms. Feng is definitely worth saving! As first-time Disney visitors, our whole family had an unexpectedly wonderful experience:
**Space Magician**: The 40+ sqm space is incredibly well-utilized. The slide in the room made the kids scream with delight the moment they walked in! My 6-year-old and 4-year-old immediately turned the slide area into their secret base. Sleeping on the 1.8-meter main bed with mom was completely comfortable for both kids, and dad got plenty of rest on the bottom bunk of the 1.2-meter bunk bed.
**Parent-Child Detail Obsessive's Dream**: Corner protectors and outlet covers are fully equipped. The children's showerhead is at just the right height, and a thoughtful step stool is provided at the washbasin. Details truly matter here.
**Behind-the-Scenes Dedication**: The owner personally cleans all rooms and public areas. All linens are washed in-house, not outsourced. Toiletries, drinking water, and snacks are all high-quality brands, often the same ones the owners or their children use. So, features like a wet/dry separation bathroom, Laifen hairdryer, and JmGO projector, which would be praised elsewhere, almost go unnoticed here.
**Hidden Disney Tips**: The owner provided many practical tips for our park visit, saving us a lot of trouble! At checkout, my daughter was given a small drink, which she said tasted great, and kept asking her mom to buy more on the way home.
**Suggestions for Improvement**: I hope a detachable bed rail can be added to the side of the bed (for more peace of mind when sleeping with younger children). Providing stroller rental would be even better.
Although slightly more expensive than surrounding B&Bs, enjoying private butler-style service for 200 RMB per person is incredibly good value! We didn't get to experience the large lawn in the yard, the mini-pool in the backyard, or the rooftop terrace this time, but they've left us plenty to look forward to. I visited Qianyun after looking at dozens of places in the area. I wanted to be away from typical city area, have a bathtub and nice outdoor area, and with easy access to Shanghai Disneyland. Qianyun met all those requirements and more! The location was immediately very serene and surrounded by forest, but still easy to access lots of waimai food delivery options. They were also very kind and proactive about sharing information about local restaurants and activities, and provide a breakfast and evening fruit every day. They offer free car transport to Disneyland, and I was excited to use this service but I ended up enjoying my time at the hotel so much that I opted to stay and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere instead! The hotel pets are so friendly - within five minutes the little cat Banban was on my lap and purring.
The room itself is decorated very nicely with all the amenities you need. The bathtub inside is very comfortable and I loved the outdoor hot spring tub as well. The attention to hygiene is very highly emphasized and I was impressed with how clean and luxurious everything felt.
I will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone hoping to have a convenient getaway from the city, or who would like to be near to Disneyland Resort while also experiencing a more peaceful area and for a good economical value and high quality service!

Pros:
1. This is probably the closest well-known brand hotel to Disney. The shuttle service is excellent, with frequent trips covering Disney, the airport, and the train station (Image 1).
2. The room was clean and the staff were friendly! The minibar offered free chips and drinks, though unfortunately, it was a fixed selection of only two cans per day (Image 7). There was plenty of complimentary bottled water.
Cons:
1. The room lighting was too dim, especially in the bathroom. I suggest increasing the wattage of the lights.
2. The bathroom lacked hooks or other facilities to hang clothes or towels. I highly recommend adding hooks.
3. The showerhead needs to be replaced; the spray area is too small. I suggest checking out the Courtyard by Marriott Puxi for reference.
4. The closet was narrow and long, with very little hanging space, so it couldn't accommodate many coats (Image 6).
5. It would be perfect if they could add a FamilyMart convenience store at the entrance, similar to the nearby Novotel (which even shares the same airport shuttle bus!).FromTWD 2,279

After a disappointing experience at our previous hotel, we booked this one in the middle of the night. Thankfully, our reservation was confirmed instantly, allowing us to move over immediately.
From the moment we arrived, the reception team was warm, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Check-in was seamless, and we were pleasantly surprised by our beautiful room—it was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable.
The amenities were excellent. We especially loved having a private in-room onsen, while the public onsen was equally relaxing. Although our room was quite a distance from the lobby, the hotel’s complimentary buggy service made getting around quick and convenient.
What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff responded to our requests almost instantly and even went above and beyond to help coordinate my ******* food delivery. Since ******* drivers aren’t allowed to enter this area, you’ll need to pay a small additional fee for the driver to walk in. Our guest services team handled the communication with the driver and ensured the food was delivered directly to our room. We genuinely felt well looked after throughout our stay.
Another huge plus is the complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland, making this hotel an excellent choice for anyone planning a Disney trip.

This might be okay for camping, but not really suitable as a hotel.
As soon as I turned on the exhaust fan, black debris started falling. Just after sitting on the sofa, I spotted long cobwebs. There were spiderwebs in several places.
The wall-mounted air conditioner in the main double bed area blew directly onto the bed, while the bunk beds at the other end got no air circulation at all. The person sleeping on the double bed was freezing at night. The AC fan blades, even when adjusted upwards, would slowly drop down on their own. Plus, the bed was very short; my feet would hang off if I moved even a little. Directly facing the bed was a large, uncovered mirror. Although the bunk beds were single, they actually offered decent space, similar to a high-speed train. However, they were separated from the bathroom by just a board, and the automatic toilet flush would wake up anyone sleeping there.
The environment itself was undeniably beautiful: lush trees, chirping insects and birds. But every time I opened the door, I had to shoo away mosquitoes. Entering required careful timing to rush in and prevent mosquitoes from flying inside with me. Throughout the night, I swatted several mosquitoes, flies, and moths. The mosquito repellent provided was the old-fashioned mosquito coil pad type. Even with it on and the window open all night, one of my companions still felt very uncomfortable and nauseous.
It's about a 10-minute walk to the Disney metro station, but the actual entrance to Disney is still quite a distance away. However, that's more an issue with Disney's layout.FromTWD 2,169

I stayed at Qing Shu Homestay many years ago, and I've chosen it again without hesitation after comparing it to other newly opened hotels recently. It's so convenient with its pickup and drop-off service, which is a great personal touch, and breakfast is included. It's very close to Disneyland and quiet at night. I booked a twin room, which was very spacious, equipped with hangers and a dehumidifier. Everything was great, except for the showerhead in the bathroom, which could use an upgrade. I'd suggest adding some Disney-themed fabric sofas and maybe some Zootopia stickers on the walls to enhance the atmosphere. Extremely satisfied with my guesthouse stay! The room was spacious and well-soundproofed, and everything was clean and tidy. The amenities were even more comprehensive than a hotel's, they even provided disposable bathtub liners! Breakfast was plentiful too. The owner is the 'gets things done, no-nonsense' type – doesn't chat much or ask too many questions, but all your needs are perfectly taken care of. Since there's no elevator, the owner helped carry our luggage upstairs, and they arranged pick-up and drop-off to both the subway station and Disneyland. It's less than a ten-minute drive to Disneyland, and they even have strollers for rent through a partner, which was great value for money. A very satisfying experience overall. We booked the Frozen-themed room, and my child was so excited as soon as we entered, having a blast on the slide. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, right from their initial communication before check-in. They also gave us lots of helpful tips for our Disney trip the next day, which saved us a lot of time and made our visit really enjoyable. The free pick-up and drop-off service for a two-night stay was incredibly convenient, especially after watching the fireworks when everyone is leaving and it's hard to find a taxi. Having a driver waiting for you was a fantastic experience. Before we returned to the hotel, the front desk staff even turned on the air conditioning in our room, so it was warm and cozy when we got back – a really thoughtful touch. I stayed in this B&B for two consecutive days. The facilities are very complete and clean, and the soundproofing is quite good. It was very quiet at night. The toiletries are also very exquisite. The hygiene and environment inside and outside the room and the courtyard are very good. As soon as I arrived at the B&B, I felt a full Disney atmosphere. The kids loved it. The owner is very kind and the service is great. It is close to Disney and there is shuttle service. The breakfast is also clean and hygienic. This B&B is super convenient all day long, and the quality and value are good. I strongly recommend renting a stroller from the owner. It is much cheaper than inside Disney.
