What Is Disney Premier Access at Shanghai Disneyland?
Disney Premier Access is a paid service that can provide:
- One-time priority access to a selected attraction
- Priority access to several attractions included in a DPA set
- Entry to a reserved viewing area for selected shows or parades
- Early Park Entry and priority entrance when included in an eligible DPA Deluxe Set
DPA does not include general park admission unless you purchase a package that specifically combines a Shanghai Disneyland ticket with DPA. Priority access can shorten the regular queue, but it does not guarantee immediate boarding or zero waiting time.
Each DPA is linked to one guest’s park ticket or Annual Pass. It cannot be shared, transferred, or resold. Guests aged three and above need their own DPA.

A Disney Standby Pass is not a free FastPass. It only gives you a return time to enter the standby queue. It may not be required every day, so check the Official App after entering the park.

Single Experience
This provides one-time priority access to one selected attraction or entertainment experience during its validity period.
Carefree and Adventure Sets
These sets include several attractions or entertainment experiences. The number of included experiences and their designated starting times can vary. Attractions in the same set may also have different starting times.
Always check the complete list of included experiences before paying because the available sets can change.
Disney Premier Access Deluxe Set
Selected Deluxe Sets include priority access to several experiences and a Premier Admission benefit. This can include priority entrance and entry through the Disneytown entrance up to one hour before the published park opening time.
The exact park opening time can change. Guests must check the Official App before visiting. Carefree Sets, Adventure Sets, entertainment experiences, and single experiences do not include this Premier Admission benefit.
Entertainment Experiences
Entertainment DPA provides one-time entry to a reserved viewing area for a selected performance or parade during the assigned return window. It does not provide unlimited access to all shows.

How Much Is Disney Premier Access?
Shanghai Disneyland does not have one permanent DPA price. According to the official terms, the price can change based on:

How to Buy DPA Using the Official App
Step 1: Download the Official App
Download the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App before your trip. You can create an account using a mobile number or email address.
The app also provides park maps, attraction wait times, entertainment schedules, ticket management, and trip-planning tools.
Step 2: Purchase Your Park Ticket
You need valid admission for the same visit date before purchasing DPA. Enter the guest’s information exactly as shown on the passport.
DPA alone cannot be used to enter Shanghai Disneyland.
Step 3: Link Your Ticket
Sign in to the Official App and scan the QR code on your park ticket or Annual Pass. You can also link the tickets of family members or friends and create one party.
For most same-day DPA purchases through the app, every guest included in the party must have already entered the park.
Step 4: Select Disney Premier Access
Choose “Buy Disney Premier Access” and select:
- A single attraction
- An entertainment experience
- A Carefree or Adventure Set
- A Deluxe Set, when available
Review the price, included experiences, designated starting times, height requirements, and validity period carefully.
Step 5: Select the Correct Guest
Each DPA must be assigned to the correct park ticket holder. The guest using DPA must match the photo and identity linked to that ticket.
The person completing the purchase must be at least 18 years old. At least one guest in the group must be aged 16 or above.
Step 6: Complete Payment
Full payment is required when booking. Available payment methods can depend on the sales channel, so check the options displayed at checkout.
Step 7: Redeem Your DPA
For attractions, visit the Priority Access entrance between the designated starting time and the attraction’s closing time.
For entertainment, arrive at the reserved viewing area during the return window shown in the app.
Show either:
- The DPA QR code under “My Plan” in the Official App
- The QR code on the linked park ticket or Annual Pass
Each DPA can only be used once for its selected attraction or entertainment experience.
Can You Book DPA Before Entering Shanghai Disneyland?
Some DPA products can be booked in advance after you have valid park admission for the same date. The available advance-purchase dates, products, prices, and inventory are displayed through the official sales channels.
However, guests purchasing Carefree Sets, Adventure Sets, entertainment experiences, or single experiences through the Official App on the visit date must generally enter the park first.

When Is the Best Time to Buy DPA?
There is no official guaranteed sell-out time. Availability changes according to the visit date, attraction status, and demand.
Consider checking DPA as soon as possible when:
- You only have one day at Shanghai Disneyland
- You have several must-try attractions
- You are visiting with young children
- Regular wait times are already long
- You want a reserved area for a specific show
On a quieter day, compare the live standby wait time with the DPA price before purchasing. You may be able to use regular queues first and buy DPA later, but availability is not guaranteed.

We specifically chose the Melia Hotel next door for our Mid-Autumn Festival trip to Disney, and our experience far exceeded expectations. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, done in just a few minutes, and they even upgraded us for free to a room with a street garden view, which was so heartwarming.
Opening the room door, we immediately felt comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, and there were complimentary mineral water and small drinks next to the wardrobe. The bedding was just the right firmness; even I, who usually struggles to sleep, had a restful night. The shadows of the trees swayed in from the window, and we couldn't hear any noise at all – it was so comfortable to find peace in the midst of the hustle and bustle.
When checking out, the front desk even gave us ice cream. The attention to detail was impeccable. Whether for leisure or business, staying here is perfect. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely choose Melia again, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit.From€139

Beyond my expectations, I was very satisfied. I stayed for one night and bought two and a half-day tickets. No need to wake up early, I had a great time. I slept until I woke up naturally, had breakfast, and then slowly headed out.
The front desk service was very attentive; the staff, both male and female, were all very thoughtful. The Woody and Donald Duck pancakes at breakfast were delicious. It's rare that the coffee wasn't bad, and the Mickey disposable coffee cup was a pleasant touch. My child and I both loved the complimentary luggage tag.
If I had to pick two things that weren't satisfactory:
1. For a hotel at this price, it surprisingly didn't have a swimming pool.
2. I have to complain about their room service. After returning to the hotel from Disney, I was already very tired. I ordered a tomato seafood beef noodle for 118, and specifically called to ask for two sets of children's cutlery. They said it was all disposable and they would give me a few extra sets. However, when it was delivered to the room, they only gave two extra pairs of disposable chopsticks but no food containers. That was quite thoughtless.From€193

Parents bringing their kids to Disney, listen up! This original B&B by Mr. Gao & Ms. Feng is definitely worth saving! As first-time Disney visitors, our whole family had an unexpectedly wonderful experience:
**Space Magician**: The 40+ sqm space is incredibly well-utilized. The slide in the room made the kids scream with delight the moment they walked in! My 6-year-old and 4-year-old immediately turned the slide area into their secret base. Sleeping on the 1.8-meter main bed with mom was completely comfortable for both kids, and dad got plenty of rest on the bottom bunk of the 1.2-meter bunk bed.
**Parent-Child Detail Obsessive's Dream**: Corner protectors and outlet covers are fully equipped. The children's showerhead is at just the right height, and a thoughtful step stool is provided at the washbasin. Details truly matter here.
**Behind-the-Scenes Dedication**: The owner personally cleans all rooms and public areas. All linens are washed in-house, not outsourced. Toiletries, drinking water, and snacks are all high-quality brands, often the same ones the owners or their children use. So, features like a wet/dry separation bathroom, Laifen hairdryer, and JmGO projector, which would be praised elsewhere, almost go unnoticed here.
**Hidden Disney Tips**: The owner provided many practical tips for our park visit, saving us a lot of trouble! At checkout, my daughter was given a small drink, which she said tasted great, and kept asking her mom to buy more on the way home.
**Suggestions for Improvement**: I hope a detachable bed rail can be added to the side of the bed (for more peace of mind when sleeping with younger children). Providing stroller rental would be even better.
Although slightly more expensive than surrounding B&Bs, enjoying private butler-style service for 200 RMB per person is incredibly good value! We didn't get to experience the large lawn in the yard, the mini-pool in the backyard, or the rooftop terrace this time, but they've left us plenty to look forward to. It looks like our accommodation for our second Disney trip in a few years has already been pre-booked!From€76

I visited Qianyun after looking at dozens of places in the area. I wanted to be away from typical city area, have a bathtub and nice outdoor area, and with easy access to Shanghai Disneyland. Qianyun met all those requirements and more! The location was immediately very serene and surrounded by forest, but still easy to access lots of waimai food delivery options. They were also very kind and proactive about sharing information about local restaurants and activities, and provide a breakfast and evening fruit every day. They offer free car transport to Disneyland, and I was excited to use this service but I ended up enjoying my time at the hotel so much that I opted to stay and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere instead! The hotel pets are so friendly - within five minutes the little cat Banban was on my lap and purring.
The room itself is decorated very nicely with all the amenities you need. The bathtub inside is very comfortable and I loved the outdoor hot spring tub as well. The attention to hygiene is very highly emphasized and I was impressed with how clean and luxurious everything felt.
I will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone hoping to have a convenient getaway from the city, or who would like to be near to Disneyland Resort while also experiencing a more peaceful area and for a good economical value and high quality service!

This hotel was perfectly located for Disneyland, and we absolutely loved our stay!
The breakfast selection was fantastic, and the children’s options were especially cute, with little Hello Kitty biscuits and pancakes. Our kids also loved the children’s play area, and we found ourselves visiting the hotel shop several times! The free kids’ activities were another lovely touch — my daughter had so much fun making her own bracelet.
There was plenty to keep the kids entertained, including computers and vending machines, which they absolutely loved. We also really appreciated the free daily shuttle buses to Disneyland. The journey was only around five minutes, making it incredibly convenient, and the buses ran regularly enough that we made great use of them during our stay. We bought a 1.5-day park ticket and the shuttle made getting to and from the park so easy.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was great that they spoke English. We also loved how child-friendly the room was. There was even a little tent for the kids, and you could really tell that the hotel had thought carefully about families and the little details that make a stay special.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The location, facilities, activities and thoughtful touches made it a wonderful choice for a Disneyland trip, and we would definitely stay here again!From€56

Super satisfied! I booked this place thinking it would be convenient to rest after a day at Disneyland, and to my surprise, the hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Disney, which was incredibly convenient and quick.
The guesthouse room location is great, and the environment is pleasant. If you need anything, just ask the owner. They even have Disney headbands for rent, though I didn't borrow any. The owner has a cat and a dog, both so cute! The cat is the same age as Disneyland, so you can even pet the cat when you talk to the owner, hehe.
Overall, the guesthouse is very thoughtfully decorated. The room has a foot bath tub, perfect for soaking your tired feet after a long day at Disney, and the front desk even provides foot bath liquid. There's also a special plug-in card for electricity, which is really convenient. I booked a double room, and they provided two pairs of adult slippers and child slippers. The bathroom has disposable toilet seat covers, and there are disposable foot bath bags, which made me feel very comfortable. There's also a projector in the room for entertainment, though I didn't use it.

The owner, a lovely lady, drove us to Disneyland at 6:30 AM and picked us up again at 10:30 PM. We were truly, deeply touched! On the first day, since we didn't have time for breakfast, she prepared yogurt and red bean bread for us. The breakfast on the second day was simple yet delicious. The courtyard is lovely and the stay was very quiet. The two 1.5-meter beds were perfect for our family of four. Although we didn't get a chance to enjoy the large bathtub, seeing the disposable tub liner thoughtfully placed next to it showed how much care she puts into everything. We will definitely come back here the next time we visit Disneyland!From€29

The room was spacious and very clean. The owner was incredibly kind and helped us immediately whenever we encountered any issues. There's a shuttle service once in the morning and once in the evening, which is very convenient for getting to and from Disneyland since it's so close. I had a fantastic stay at Manyan B&B in Shanghai, and I just have to rave about it!
✅ Cleanliness and Facilities: The room was spotless, which made for a very reassuring stay. The biggest surprise was the bathtub, complete with thoughtful touches like disposable bath liners and toilet seat covers – a dream come true for germaphobes! The projector delivered clear images and good sound quality, making late-night movie sessions super enjoyable.
🍜 Neighborhood Convenience: There were plenty of food delivery options nearby, and late-night snacks arrived quickly, so hunger was never an issue.
🚗 Owner's Service: The owner was incredibly nice and provided timely shuttle service to Disneyland. Although the B&B doesn't usually offer rides to the city subway, after a quick chat, the owner specially made a separate trip to drop us off at the station. I was truly touched; the service exceeded my expectations!
⚠️ A Small Heads-Up: The soundproofing isn't the best; you can hear conversations in the hallway quite clearly. I'd recommend keeping the volume down when watching movies or chatting late at night to avoid disturbing other guests.
Overall, it's a B&B with great value for money, and I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai! Highly recommended for anyone who values cleanliness and excellent service~From€24

The lady is super friendly and helpful, but only speak Mandarin. no worries if you don't speak Mandarin as she will use the translator machine to translate it. She assisted me with the food delivery service and offered plenty of help whenever i needed it. The room was clean and comfy, with everything we needed. Free transportation to/from Disneyland , just a 5-minute ride. - Valid only for the guest and ticket linked to the product
- Valid once during the stated validity period
Under the current official terms, an eligible DPA product may be changed to a new date up to two times. The replacement must have the same value, remain subject to availability, and be completed at least 48 hours before 00:00 on the original entitlement date.
If an experience in a DPA set closes because of maintenance or another unforeseen situation, the set price does not automatically decrease. Shanghai Disney Resort may provide an alternative attraction according to its terms.
