Overall, everything is great. The only downside is the huge lines, but for a country with such a population, that's quite normal. Getting from the center is easy and convenient by metro. You can buy food before entering the park at 7:15, so you don't have to eat at the overpriced local restaurants.

A great place to visit with kids. I really enjoyed the Tron and Pirates of the Caribbean rides. Yes, there were a lot of people, but the line was 30-50 minutes, which isn't that long.

Here are the must-try experiences inside the park:

1. Zootopia: Hot Pursuit

Zootopia: Hot Pursuit

Located in the Zootopia area, this is one of the most exciting rides at Shanghai Disneyland. You will join Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on a police chase through different parts of Zootopia. • Vibe: Fun, colorful, and very immersive
  • Best for: Families, Zootopia fans, and first-time visitors
  • Tip: Ride this early because the queue can get long during the day

2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure

Since the schedule can change daily, always check the Shanghai Disney Resort app or official website on the morning of your visit.

This summer, the Resort Hotel provided me with a comfortable and relaxing stay, filled with thoughtful details that truly enhanced my experience. The hotel is situated across the lake from the theme park. On weekdays, there's a ferry to the park's pier every 20 minutes after 11 AM, accessible to hotel guests with their room key. At 6:55 AM, there's a shuttle bus to the park, and hotel guests have an exclusive entrance, separate from those with standard early entry passes. This significantly reduced the crowd, making entry incredibly smooth. Early access allowed me to quickly enjoy my favorite ride, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. When I got tired around midday, I could take the shuttle back to the hotel by going down the stairs opposite the Xinwang Cafe in the town area. The hotel's restaurants were also excellent, offering both à la carte and buffet options. The atmosphere was very Disney. The hotel lobby, located on the third floor, had a pianist playing Disney-themed music with a touch of blues. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, polite, and attentive to every guest. There's also a Fairy Godmother's shop where you can find hotel-exclusive merchandise. Each room gets one purchase opportunity per day using a QR code, and many of these special items are limited edition, adding to the emotional value for guests. From a practical standpoint, putting all the above aside, the most important aspect is the reduced waiting time and shorter travel distances, making everything much easier. The Resort Hotel allowed me to relax more, whether it was the exclusive early access, or the return ferry and shuttle. Getting good rest also helped me tackle the Mine Train again the next day. Personally, I feel that instead of spending the same amount of money on an express pass, staying at the Resort Hotel offers a comparable experience for rides plus better accommodation and service. This is my ideal holiday lifestyle. From Monday onwards, it was incredibly crowded, and many people only managed to experience three rides in a day, but I still happily enjoyed my magical time. For me, I experienced the hotel, which was warm and joyful, and I enjoyed the rides. This was a truly memorable trip!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of both location and overall stay experience. The room was spacious, and the double queen bed setup was perfect for two adults and two children. The hotel environment is beautiful, with sprawling landscapes that give off a Southeast Asian vibe. Looking out from the room's window, you see vast green spaces, which really contribute to that relaxing vacation feeling. The hotel provides a shuttle service from the main entrance, taking guests to the park entrance. From there, it's just a 10-minute walk to Disneytown. It's also a convenient 20-minute drive to Pudong Airport, making it ideal for early park entry or catching a flight. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a twin tatami room on the 1st floor with our child for a Disney trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the Disney metro station, but if you prefer, bus route 1 stops right outside the hotel and also goes directly to Disney. The communal bath (Gokurakuyu) was excellent. We went in the afternoon when it was practically empty, almost like having the whole place to ourselves. The water was clear and at a perfect temperature. The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Bicester Village, so we took a stroll around, enjoyed some food, and did some shopping. While the hotel parking lot didn't have charging stations for guests, the staff went above and beyond to find a solution, and we ended up driving home with a fully charged car, which made us feel very secure. During our stay, it was our child's birthday, and the hotel provided a wonderful birthday setup. Our little one specifically wanted to praise the balloons! However, the hotel doesn't have a Western restaurant, so getting a birthday cake, whether delivered or bought, was impossible unless you brought one yourself. Also, the dining service stops after 10 PM, so for those returning late from Disney and wanting a late-night snack, you'd need to arrange for the restaurant to pack something for you in advance. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It's a perfect base for visiting Disney, and you can avoid the crowds at the official Disney hotels.

Before the New Year, we went on a spontaneous trip with one child and one adult. The experience was beyond our expectations when we stayed at Xianshe Villa for our visit to Shanghai Disneyland. The environment was clean and tidy, the housekeeper service was warm and considerate, the auntie's breakfast was nutritious, and the driver picked us up at Disneyland safely and on time. The villa provided both the warmth of home and the services and supporting facilities of a five-star hotel. The experience was perfect. My child is already looking forward to staying at Xianshe Villa for the next Disney trip with her classmates and bestie.

Hello! I stayed in room 17148 at your hotel on August 22nd. My experience was excellent; all the staff were warm and attentive, making me feel right at home, and the resort atmosphere was wonderful. The exclusive merchandise, early park entry benefits, and the rich breakfast all left a great impression on me. I need a bit of assistance: After checking out, I suspect I left a blue ice cube-shaped charging plug in the room. Could you please help me search for it in room 17148? If it's found, I would greatly appreciate it if you could mail it back to me with shipping costs paid upon delivery. Thank you very much!

This Disney homestay really won me over! 🎀 For my recent trip to Disney, I discovered an amazing guesthouse that I absolutely have to recommend to everyone! 🏠 Guesthouse Name: Shanghai Ruyi Pavilion Special Guesthouse 📍 Location: Super close to Disney, about a 10-minute drive. The owner offers shuttle service, which is incredibly convenient! 🌳 Environment: The room is decorated very warmly, the bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is really well-maintained. 💁♀️ Service: The owner is so enthusiastic and thoughtful! 🍽 Dining: The breakfast selection is good, and everything tastes great. 💰 Value for money: Among guesthouses around Disney, the price is genuinely fair. It's hard to find such good facilities and service at a similar price point. Staying at this guesthouse really added a lot to my Disney trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Disney!

The B&B is relatively close to Disneyland. In the morning, the store is responsible for sending us to the entrance of the scenic area. It is very convenient to take the bus directly to the hotel when we come back. It is very convenient to go back to the city and the store helps to send us to the subway station. After a day of playing, they turned on the air conditioner in advance and the room was not cold. The children like the bunk beds and find it interesting. The hot water shower has a strong water pressure. There is a simple breakfast. I am satisfied 😀

The location was great and easy to find, though it was a bit of a walk from the subway station. We even caught the Disney fireworks display right as we were approaching! The inn had little lights on its roof that were visible from afar. Check-in was smooth, and we were escorted to our room. Breakfast was delivered to our room the next morning and had such a wide variety of dishes that my child and I couldn't even finish it all! 😄 They also offer a shuttle service to Disney, which was incredibly convenient. I'd definitely consider staying at this guesthouse again on our next trip!

Very close to Disneyland, with shuttle service to the park. The B&B is simple and the service is good. The room I booked is smaller and on the north side. The boss waited for the room to be vacant and changed it to a room on the south side. He paid the difference, which was very good. The backrest is thin, and it fits the air conditioner just right. I thought it was too thin and asked for a quilt, but I didn't use it. Everyone should also refine their requirements when booking. I also asked the boss in advance to help turn on the air conditioner before returning at night, and pick me up when I return from the park at night. The service is very good.

The room was clean and decorated in the same style as the hotel. Breakfast included red bean buns, multi-layered steamed buns, eggs, rice porridge, pickled vegetables, peanuts, and the sticky corn was especially delicious. They even gave us a ride back to the Disney subway station. The landlady was very kind and generous; we were very grateful for her thoughtful service and will definitely come back next time.

【High-Value Family B&B Experience Near Disney】A Perfect Holiday Home for Two Adults and Two Children. Parents bringing their kids to Disney, listen up! This original B&B by Mr. Gao & Ms. Feng is definitely worth saving! As first-time Disney visitors, our whole family had an unexpectedly wonderful experience: **Space Magician**: The 40+ sqm space is incredibly well-utilized. The slide in the room made the kids scream with delight the moment they walked in! My 6-year-old and 4-year-old immediately turned the slide area into their secret base. Sleeping on the 1.8-meter main bed with mom was completely comfortable for both kids, and dad got plenty of rest on the bottom bunk of the 1.2-meter bunk bed. **Parent-Child Detail Obsessive's Dream**: Corner protectors and outlet covers are fully equipped. The children's showerhead is at just the right height, and a thoughtful step stool is provided at the washbasin. Details truly matter here. **Behind-the-Scenes Dedication**: The owner personally cleans all rooms and public areas. All linens are washed in-house, not outsourced. Toiletries, drinking water, and snacks are all high-quality brands, often the same ones the owners or their children use. So, features like a wet/dry separation bathroom, Laifen hairdryer, and JmGO projector, which would be praised elsewhere, almost go unnoticed here. **Hidden Disney Tips**: The owner provided many practical tips for our park visit, saving us a lot of trouble! At checkout, my daughter was given a small drink, which she said tasted great, and kept asking her mom to buy more on the way home. **Suggestions for Improvement**: I hope a detachable bed rail can be added to the side of the bed (for more peace of mind when sleeping with younger children). Providing stroller rental would be even better. Although slightly more expensive than surrounding B&Bs, enjoying private butler-style service for 200 RMB per person is incredibly good value! We didn't get to experience the large lawn in the yard, the mini-pool in the backyard, or the rooftop terrace this time, but they've left us plenty to look forward to. It looks like our accommodation for our second Disney trip in a few years has already been pre-booked!

Originally, I booked the Bell but got upgraded to the Ayesha. The Bell is that single red house with glass windows on the outside, which can get a bit damp on rainy days. The staff were all very warm, polite, and friendly. If you're a family of two adults and two children, it offers good value for money. The only downside is that getting a taxi can be a hassle; after leaving Disney, you have to walk to the ride-hailing pick-up/drop-off point. The hotel only provides one complimentary transfer. When taking a taxi back, be sure to pay attention to your location, as the buildings are quite spread out. I got dropped off at the wrong one and wasted 16 yuan unnecessarily. The disposable amenities were excellent; I specifically wanted to mention them as I hadn't seen others post about them, so you can pack a little lighter.

The location is located in the forest but there's no light surrounding during night . There are 3 pet dogs who live nearby (one of them is friendly). During winters the place is almost empty. Best for solo or couple travels. Sauna in winter is a must try. Overall the room needs a little repairing but it's not that noticable. The rooms are pretty large and provide all amenities. Each room is calm a provides a retreat for a peaceful vacation. The Breakfast lady is nice and hospitable. Breakfast included milk, croissant , a pastry an egg and a bowl of wontons. All snacks and fruits provided in room are complimentary. Overall a nice place for short weekend trip. In morning one can have a morning walk around forest or bike ( during winters the bike become a bit rusty though). The place also provides Kayaking in the nearby lake for 100 RMB / 3 hrs . It's best to enjoy kayaking in summers. Will visit here again. Also the place doesn't provide dinner but there are 2 nearby places providing good food. Make sure to take a torch along the way to restaurants at night as it gets quite dark.

Pros: 1. This is probably the closest well-known brand hotel to Disney. The shuttle service is excellent, with frequent trips covering Disney, the airport, and the train station (Image 1). 2. The room was clean and the staff were friendly! The minibar offered free chips and drinks, though unfortunately, it was a fixed selection of only two cans per day (Image 7). There was plenty of complimentary bottled water. Cons: 1. The room lighting was too dim, especially in the bathroom. I suggest increasing the wattage of the lights. 2. The bathroom lacked hooks or other facilities to hang clothes or towels. I highly recommend adding hooks. 3. The showerhead needs to be replaced; the spray area is too small. I suggest checking out the Courtyard by Marriott Puxi for reference. 4. The closet was narrow and long, with very little hanging space, so it couldn't accommodate many coats (Image 6). 5. It would be perfect if they could add a FamilyMart convenience store at the entrance, similar to the nearby Novotel (which even shares the same airport shuttle bus!).

you get what you pay for. the hotel was old but relatively clean. the only issue we encountered was mold on the bathroom ceiling and sink and difficulty finding the free shuttle from disneyland, we ended up ordering a didi as we couldn’t find it. the breakfast buffet is big and is mainly chinese food and staff were nice but did not speak english so had to use translate. disneyland is less than 10 minutes away by car

The hotel rooms are really unique, with options like RVs and treehouses. However, since they're nestled in the woods and gardens, and close to water, combined with Shanghai's humid climate, the rooms can feel a bit damp. If you can handle the humidity, it's a great experience, especially for people who appreciate individuality. Falling asleep to the sound of crickets at night is a definite plus.

It was such am amazing stay! 1. The service is great. Everyone is so friendly, I really like the details in the room, a free transfer that they provide(we bought early entry tickets, so I thought that they dont provide such an early shuttle, but the earliest one was 07:00 and we were able to enjoy Disneyland for 100%. 2. The room was spacious, had a big bath. Its perfect to enjoy after Disneyland! 3. The breakfast was very limited, we couldn’t eat that. But the delivery services goes here. By the way, never try to get here by walk, it is wuite far away and the roads are confusing, thats why ask for a transfer (in advance, through We chat)

I stayed at Qing Shu Homestay many years ago, and I've chosen it again without hesitation after comparing it to other newly opened hotels recently. It's so convenient with its pickup and drop-off service, which is a great personal touch, and breakfast is included. It's very close to Disneyland and quiet at night. I booked a twin room, which was very spacious, equipped with hangers and a dehumidifier. Everything was great, except for the showerhead in the bathroom, which could use an upgrade. I'd suggest adding some Disney-themed fabric sofas and maybe some Zootopia stickers on the walls to enhance the atmosphere. I hope this great value-for-money homestay continues to improve and thrive!

Extremely satisfied with my guesthouse stay! The room was spacious and well-soundproofed, and everything was clean and tidy. The amenities were even more comprehensive than a hotel's, they even provided disposable bathtub liners! Breakfast was plentiful too. The owner is the 'gets things done, no-nonsense' type – doesn't chat much or ask too many questions, but all your needs are perfectly taken care of. Since there's no elevator, the owner helped carry our luggage upstairs, and they arranged pick-up and drop-off to both the subway station and Disneyland. It's less than a ten-minute drive to Disneyland, and they even have strollers for rent through a partner, which was great value for money. A very satisfying experience overall. I imagine the small courtyard would be even more beautiful in summer. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!

The room was spacious and very clean. The owner was incredibly kind and helped us immediately whenever we encountered any issues. There's a shuttle service once in the morning and once in the evening, which is very convenient for getting to and from Disneyland since it's so close. The 'wedding candy' and 'love letter' were in the same spot, which was a nice touch.

The room was incredibly clean! The owner, a lovely lady, was also super nice. She even prepared breakfast for us early in the morning and gave us directions. She's really easy to talk to, and the guesthouse is close to the subway, making it very convenient for getting around! I'll definitely choose Shiguang Xiaoyuan again next time I'm in Shanghai!

The lady is super friendly and helpful, but only speak Mandarin. no worries if you don't speak Mandarin as she will use the translator machine to translate it. She assisted me with the food delivery service and offered plenty of help whenever i needed it. The room was clean and comfy, with everything we needed. Free transportation to/from Disneyland , just a 5-minute ride. With this, we took our time to watch the fabulous fireworks at Disneyland without rushing to MRT or didi/ taxi back to our homestay

I met a heart-warming B&B on this quiet path. The room is decorated in a picturesque way, as if every step you take steps into the owner's artistic realm. The considerate and considerate service will make the fatigue of the journey disappear instantly. The delicious food is intoxicating, and the starry sky at night is particularly bright and peaceful. This is not only a place to rest, but also a spiritual home. Recommended to everyone who wants to find a moment of peace! 🌟🏠✨
