Location 1 min walk from Shizuoka rail station, bus stop to airport right outside the main entrance, extremely convenient. Check-in Polit staff with no problem to communicate in english Room Very spacious, clean and cozy, no public showering area nor onsen.

Amazing hotel!! Since start the staff is perfect, great facilities (room, pool, onsen, gym, etc) Everything is high quality! And the view of Mt Fuji & racing tracks are breathtaking, highly recommended!

The hotel is located in the mountains near Shuzenji Temple. We originally booked this hotel expecting a beautiful view, but the waiter actually gave us a room facing the staff entrance. Not only did we not have a window view, but as soon as we opened the curtains, we could see the staff coming in and out and the garbage trucks, which really affected our mood. The hygiene in the hot spring dressing room was also worrying. The wall near the exhaust fan was obviously dusty and dirty. The hygiene of this hotel was not very good. 😑 There was hair left by someone on the bedside in the room. Sigh😑, I have to give a bad review.

This was hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many - work covered, expensive ”5 star hotels”. We had perfect views of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were huge and super well fitted out. It's not the best location wise if you're wanting to go shopping in Gotemba, but this didn't bother us as we hired a car and drove there on our own. The service was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive and went way beyond and above. The driver drove us to our destination (Gotemba train station that we requested) and then realized we were standing around looking where to go - he came over and asked if we were lost and drove us to the correct location (the car rental shop). The reception gave us a tour of the area to make sure we knew where the lifts were, how to use the various facilities (especially the onsen). If you have kids or traveling as a couple, I couldn't recommend this place more.

We were assigned an older room that was in dire need of an upgrade. The peeling wallpaper, fraying tatami mat, and sinking mattress made for an uncomfortable stay. The breakfast was decent, but if you're staying for a few days, I suggest rotating your choices, as the offerings remained practically the same throughout our three-day stay. The happy hour at the lounge was crowded, yet it featured a good selection of alcohol, which was a nice perk. However, there isn’t much to explore in the vicinity of the hotel unless you are driving. For a more enjoyable experience, try booking one of the newly renovated rooms. Otherwise, it might be better to seek accommodation in a more centralized location.

It may be due to the off-season. There are only three of us staying in the whole hotel. Yamada-san from the hotel reception department greeted us and provided warm Chinese service throughout the whole process. The breakfast was even more ceremonial with the banquet cuisine. The platter was exquisite and dazzling, and the service was not to mention. It was really cool to book the venue. The only flaw is that there was no dinner this time because the chef was on vacation. I stayed in the hotel for three consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was different every day and very rich. There were two days of set breakfast and one day of buffet breakfast. You can see Mount Fuji from your room, but because of the cloudy weather, you can only see the top of the mountain for a short time. The rest of the time, Mount Fuji was hiding behind the clouds. It is said that because of the low light pollution, the hotel is very suitable for stargazing, but I ate too much for dinner every day and went to bed early. It's a pity. Next time I will experience the hot springs and stargazing. The hotel's hot spring is Nekogoshi Hot Spring, which has indoor and outdoor facilities. I especially like the outdoor hot spring. You need to walk down a few steps, as if you are in the middle of the woods. When the wind is strong, the leaves rustle, which is very healing. Let's talk about the hotel's golf course. Since I didn't book a package that included playing golf, the playing fee was additional, but it was also very affordable. I like to drive the golf course by myself, without a caddy, and play golf freely. The first nine holes were played in the woods. I was lucky to meet deer unexpectedly on the 2nd and 8th holes, which was a surprise; the last nine holes were more like deep in the wilderness. The golf course is not too difficult and there are not many people. If you don't play golf, you can go to Shuzenji to see the attractions. You can book the hotel's shuttle bus one day in advance to take you to Shuzenji Station, and then take a taxi or bus to go there.

A place where you don't regret spending money at all The staff are so kind, the accommodations are so pretty, very spacious, and I was able to use the hot springs right away when I wanted to, so it was great! The tatami in the room was so comfortable that I couldn't help falling asleep there. The next day, I took a hot spring bath in the morning and then had breakfast. The hotel's breakfast is also very rich, not stingy at all, and even has golden eye bream shabu shabu The service staff is also very considerate and speaks good English. There is a souvenir shop in the hotel Except for the scenery, it is impeccable.
