DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. The fabric of the building was a little worn and tired. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat in so can’t comment on that. Great variety of food available in the Wool Market, 3 minutes walk away.

My room iwas a diuble bed room with a sofa. It was clean clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good. Reasonable price. The staff was frendly and helpful. I had an urgent meeting and requested the staff to extend the check out time. The staff extended the change our check out time for free. It was a 6 mins driving distance to the town centre and railway station. It is good for those who drive. Free parking.But if you don't drive, the hotel may not be the perfect choice.

A business hotel without any facilities except a restaurant. Room is relatively small not even a small freezer. Breakfast is good. However, bad experience with housekeeping. No service for the room only the first day. The maid just changed the towels and did nothing to the room including the toilet. I have to request for daily clean up at the front desk. On the third day, found a large plastic bag with rubbish in my room probably the maid forgot to take out. The bag included other rubbish not from my room.

An easy to find location and close to the town. The reception staff were friendly and the area was spotless. The room was as described. Am not keen on the bathrooms with clear glass you can see into though. The hand soap and shower gel were so lovely, great smell. The room and bathroom were spotless. The towels were huge and fluffy. The bed was rather hard but fine for one night. I was on the second floor and could feel the vibrations of the trams running which was not great. Good for a one night stop but not a longer stay.

Upon arrival I got a very warm welcome from staff and they upgraded the room that was nice it's very clean and looks modern the beds comfy TV works great and WiFi is good very warm room and slept well had the breakfast continental was a good selection staff was very polite then had the full English didn't have the works but was full would definitely stay here again it's in the middle of town and 5 mins walk away from train station so u have everything you need close by

Hotel is well located in city and facility are brilliant and cost wise very nice

The location is not very central, but it is 5 minutes away, and it is also close to the street for eating. In addition, my 15-year old member, the price is not only no discount, but also nearly 200% more than the store price. It is really speechless. The store price is 720, but I received 1880 for one night. It was too unreasonable and could not be refunded. This is Trip.com service

Most authoritative evaluation: No mineral water is provided, no disposable toothbrushes, slippers, toothpaste, the room is very cold and no heating! There is no stairs on the second floor! Because there are more things, it is very tired when moving, and then there is very little toilet paper, basically no new ones!
