The hotel is located just out of the Okayama station. Super great hotel with excellent service, super easy to access the airport limousine! Highly recommended!
The overall cleanliness of the hotel is full, the hotel bed is comfortable and clean full score
I am a self-driving tour past the hotel staff at the door to greet with a five-star enjoyment , The hot springs are also hot enough and clean. 2 The service is full of meals, and there is room for improvement in dinner food. Breakfast choices, not a lot of room for improvement, may be a winter relationship, A lot of Shantou near the hotel has already opened the door early in the morning. I arrived at the hotel at about 3:30. After that, it was very convenient to visit Lushan City in the past. My stay is also the wedding anniversary. The hotel is so careful to send a small gift for me. Thank you 👍.
It’s a very convenient hotel where locates next to the JR Okayama Station. Highly accessible. The staff are nice and polite.
Some rooms face to the JR railway tracks which may produce noise during midnights and mornings for your consideration.
Advise the hotel to provide different types of pillows to cater everyone’s needs. It is obvious that the pillow is not suitable for me.
Stayed one night in an ocean view twin room (balcony) in October 2023
[Good points]
- The view from the balcony of the room is amazing
- The hotel's interior and exterior design is original, based on the concept of learning from the past
- The food at the adjacent restaurant FORQ is delicious
- Tamano is the only place where you can watch keirin races from the balcony
- Good access to the art island of Naoshima
[Points to note]
- Dinner at the restaurant is shared with the general public, and reservations are required for windows, so we were unable to sit
- The sea breeze is strong when watching from the balcony, and it is cold at night
- There are vending machines, but they do not sell alcohol, so if you want to drink, it is better to bring your own
- It is a bit of a tough distance to walk to the nearest supermarket or convenience store
- Apparently you cannot watch from the balcony during the midnight keirin races
- The large public bath is not available during the keirin races, only showers are available
[Overall review]
This hotel is recommended for people other than keirin fans. It is also recommended as a place to stay for sightseeing on the art island of Naoshima.
Great location, next to train station and ferry terminals. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. I stayed in a cabin, and it was fine for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. The common area has a microwave, fridge, kettles, a selection of teas that you can make in a pot, bottled water and complementary treats. The hotel offered a free voucher for a nearby onsen, which looked lovely, but I did not visit it. The hotel also stored my luggage after checkout while I visited Naoshima. It's a little pricey for a cabin, but I was very happy with my stay.
The hotel is particularly good and the transportation is convenient! Beautiful environment, rich breakfast, unique location! The children are very comfortable and the service is very kind and friendly.
I was worried about it before. It is a hotel. The accommodation fee was quite high and it was impossible to give up, but this time there was a discount, and I was able to stay cheaply. The room as I thought was also spacious 々, and there was a luxury feeling and it was the best. Thank you.
It is near the Kurasaki Bikan Historical Quarter, so it is good for exploring the Bikan Historical Quarter, but it is a bit far from Kurasaki Station, so it takes about 15 minutes on foot.
It is old, but well-maintained, and the breakfast is delicious, although it does not have many varieties.
It is a decent hotel for a one-day stay.
I stayed in a Japanese-style room.
The view was great, the room was clean, and there were plenty of amenities and towels.
The refrigerator was also very cold, which surprised me.
They lay out the futon for you at 6pm, so it was laid out while you were out and set up when you got back.
There was also a mattress under the futon, and it was very fluffy.
Breakfast was also delicious.
I'd like to go again!

Great
WWEIIt’s close to the Okayama JR station. I enjoyed the cross-year event well organized by the hotel.

WWK.CThe scenery is so beautiful, very comfortable and first-class service! The proprietress and the driver staff are kind and friendly! If you buy a jrpass, you can make an appointment to pick up and drop off. It’s free at Kurayoshi Station and highway tolls at Tsuyama Station, but it’s worth it. Time is money. I gave a small gift before I finally left, looking forward to going again next time!
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time staying at the Machiya Stay Fukiya Senmai.
The hospitality from the host was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed a quiet night relaxing at the stay.
The breakfast was delicious and everyone was so welcoming.
Thank you very much.
