5-Star Hotels in East Java, Indonesia

Was a pleasant one. But room is a bit mehh... Lacking a bit of cozy feel. The items in room can be taken care better. Seems like the cleaning services can be improved. Other than that the service service reception and hotline all works good. Hotel location is nice and have some good access to food and restaurant. But sadly gym closes at 5pm. Guess I can never make it then if I am here for business trip.... Hopefully the time range can be extended in the future. Breakfast was not bad. Decent amount of choice and quality can definitely be improved.

Batu has been one of my favorite destinations in Indonesia and this is mainly thanks to this hotel. The place was magnificent, the breakfast incredible but more than that all the staff were super nice and welcoming the servers, the cooks, the security, the room staff and the reception staff!!! Thank you very much for you’re kindness !😊

This hotel is always an excellent choice for a stay. I'm consistently satisfied with every aspect, from the service, facilities, and cleanliness to the wide variety of breakfast options. I truly felt at home during my staycation here. Its central location is perfect, with numerous cafes right along the street in front of the hotel, offering a diverse range of food and making it a comfortable spot to meet up with friends.

Was offered and took the upsell to one tier above what I paid for. Overall stay was pleasant with good service, though the breakfast buffet felt it could have sourced better fresh produce suppliers in some parts like vegetables, dairy, and carbs. The pastry section was really good and the coffee was also good. Last but not least, the swimming pool had a couple of caterpillars near the greens and makeshift waterfall feature. Those suprised the kids a bit, but they didn't scare them much, still had fun.

love everything about this hotel! breakfast was quite good with many selections, service was excellent, next to a mall and room was one of the best in surabaya so far! this hotel is considered quite old but they still managed to keep everything like new and clean. def recommend and will be back ❤️

I think this is a value for money stay. I love the room and hotel location. The room is excellent with bathtub at this price. Service is generally good and acceptable. The room when we first enter has some aircon leaking, but was quickly changed to another room. Breakfast is a good variety though there was quite a number of flies at the fruits section. I think it's around a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the mall. Would be good if they could include some floats for the swimming pool.

Typical old (but clean) grand hotel with very spacious room and bathroom. Good for relaxing and staycations. One that I love most about this hotel is their breakfast, the food variety and the setting. You can sit in the middle of the garden while sipping your cup of tea.

Great location for foodies. Hotel is linked to very huge shopping mall with plethora of restaurants and cafes serving myriad of good food at very reasonable prices. Also lots of shops selling wide variety of items

5 star hotel in the West Surabaya area, very good facilities, quite comfortable rooms, spacious and clean bathrooms. There is a play area for children, the swimming pool area is cool, beautiful and shady. Shangrila has always been the best hotel from the past, I stayed in deluxe room

The hotel was very clean and public areas were immaculately presented. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Rendra and Maskur were great at assisting with arranging excursions and any queries. The breakfast did not quite reach the levels of other hotels of this quality and the location was a little out of town, but overall a very good stay!
