5-Star Hotels in Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia

Rooms are clean, room service rather slow and not many are available from the menu . Front desk very friendly but not informative. Hotel facility like bar and coffee house need to be upgraded and they closed very early before the night starts. Overall 5 out of 10.

1. It has a proper swimming pool, and for people who care about cardio exercise, it’s perfect. Sunset time is especially beautiful! 2. It’s an old 5 star hotel, but the room is super spacious and clean. 3. The breakfast is abundant but a little too pricey. And there is no ready-to-drink coffee, meaning we have to pay extra 30,000 for a premium one or either use hot water to make our own thick powder coffee which is super inconvenient. 4.Grab delivery food seems not allowed, but if you are confident in your food quality and pricing, you should not forbid it. 5. Staff are all very friendly and professional. 6. The location is by a lake which is chill and quiet, but Grab cars are usually at least 5 mins away! Make your plans accordingly!

My stay was sensational, clean rooms and excellent service, especially from Mr. Rukki who works at the hotel reception, so attentive, from the day I arrived he calls me by name, a person who really makes a difference in our busy day! I will be back soon

We had the most wonderful stay with Intercontinental Jakarta Pondok Indah. Everyone is accommodating and cheerful! We were served by Reception Lady by the name of Ms Bestra (if I remembered her name correctly) during our check in and check out. She was very pleasant and kind. The breakfast was superb! The team brought a cake and surprised my son with singing Happy Birthday song! Hotel also gave us nice dessert to our room and also at the breakfast table! We will come back here again! The room itself is exceptional! It was a short 1 night with InterContinental but definitely a memorable one! Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

Staff and service are great, but the hotel’s hardware is very old. The most disappointing point was the shower - equiped with a lousy shower head with minimal/no warm water late at night / early in the morning.

This hotel is a decent option for families, particularly because of its mini zoo, which is a fun and unique attraction for kids. However, overall, it falls into the ”average” category. The rooms and facilities are standard, nothing exceptional, but they are functional and clean. Service is adequate, though not outstanding.

Stayed one night at DoubleTree Jakarta Diponegoro and had a great time. Check-in was smooth and I loved the welcome cookie. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. In the morning, I enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool before breakfast – such a relaxing way to start the day. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide range of options. Great location near Cikini Station, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back for a longer stay next time!

Very good hotel to stay in Jakarta, new, cozy and clean. If you would like to have some exercise during the stay, the gym is highly recommended. Only thing to complaint is the hotel surround by narrow alleys, difficult to move around in peaks.

Stayed with husband for our honeymoon 2.0. Service was amazing, very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is beautiful! They have a mini art museum close to the elevator and they have a variety of food restaurants in the hotel.

This Hotel is excellent for its customer services, all relevant staff are quite helpful and well-mannered. Breakfast spread is superb and taste very good. Location is a definite advantage. Regarding the room I occupied, being a 5-star rated hotel and carrying international brand, the room's condition could be upgraded as wear-and-tear of furnishings are clearly visible and looks bit outdated, particularly the TV and the chair. Do pay attention to the floor of bathroom which gets slippery when wet and most hotels nowadays do not use shower curtain anymore as water easily splashes onto the floor, and coming out from the bathtub poses real threat of slip to elderly and child. The room's air suction in bathroom did not function. Although I gave 5 stars to location, cleanliness and services, I could only give overall 4 stars due to the room's condition where I occupied for 2 nights.
