Location is perfect if you want to spend time in old town Phuket ! Here in the Center of the Old Town area, only take a short walk to the Main Street. The hostel is very local and friendly, 4th floor is my private room with toilet in the room. big mirror. The bed not so comfy, and very dusty when I open the curtain. No lift only stair, need to walk up, suggest backpacker to go, or you better leave your luggage on the ground floor. For a short stay in budget is good to stay here I think. In the common area, provide fridge can use, I love the cold water inside can refill as much as I want, also room temperature water provide in the ground floor. I go on Fri-Sun , Sunday night market start at 4:30-10pm, the car not allow to go on the Main Street and all the shops open in the car road, you can buy all the drinks, food, shopping, souvenir. With local live music, some children’s sing and play instruments, with some seats, the mood is great.

Probably this is not a hotel, but a guest house, the owner lives here. Rooms with a view of a noisy road or a construction site two meters from the balcony. The rooms are old. The description indicated a 75m room, in fact 25-30m. I did not like the hotel. This is my 8th time in Phuket. The safe in the room did not work. They took a deposit of 500 baht. There is a lot of weight in the room that could have been simply checked with a damp cloth.

Very good location, easy to walk to the beach and to the Banzan market. On the street where the hotel is located, there are many massage parlors, with prices much lower than on the central streets. Cleaning is mostly only on request, and not always (And also at inconvenient times, for example, we went to the beach in the morning and returned only at 15:00-16:00, and there was no cleaning. But as soon as we went into the shower, the cleaning lady immediately came and knocked on the door ... the question is, why couldn't we clean earlier?! (( In general, I didn't like this moment. Also, there is no place to hang things to dry (I had to buy a rope in a hardware store and stretch it on the grate on the balcony! Also, our room was not very well located, the 2nd floor with a view of some ruins, there are a lot of cats in the hotel, and right under our room there was some kind of house for them ... several times in the morning, we got up from the frantic mooing of these animals ... if you want to get a good night's sleep, this is not the place for you! ( Otherwise, everything was fine. The hostess was friendly. After arrival, we took their things to the laundry to wash, returned everything clean and fresh! Also, the towels and bed linen in the room were clean and smelled good. There is a microwave downstairs, sometimes we took food from 7/11 and heated it up there. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation, and that's the main thing!

This was my return visit to this hostel, and I must say I was dissppointed. Last time, on another platform, I gave it an 8/10 rating, but now I think I was too generous. Besides smiling, but not good English-speaking staff (and smile doesnt always solve problems like an informed action), and affordable price, it was hard to find all those benefits I thought this hostel had. Hot water dispenser wasnt working, but even cold drinking water wasnt accessible - i had to ask the staff 3 times for somebody to refill the machine. But the next morning empty again - there should be a system in place and not counting on guests for chasing down staff to fix it whenever the water tank is empty. I say chasing as there is rarely someone at the reception. They might be cleaning the rooms (good luck in finding them), but frankly rooms werent that clean. Floors were praying for mopping, dust in the bathroom fan wanted to leave too... there was even a clearly visible stain on my bed sheet upon checking in, but the staff replaced the sheet immediately (they could have spotted it when they were making the bed the first time maybe? Locker was not working, so the member of the staff had to use knife to make it work. The other storage place was also full of some crumble, i assume it is not on the cleaning list too often. AC in the room didnt seem to work properly. There was always a feeling of the temperature being too cold, whether the tehermostat was fixed at 18 or 25 degrees Celsius, you were freezing even undet the blanket. Privacy curtains are still transparent (?), and the doors of the room close loudly. Shower was more of a drizzle - the water pressure did not meet basic requirements. In the first shower, it wasnt even warm. I entered the second one, where the heater was working better, but you could not shower with water practically just dripping on you. All in all, there are other similarly priced hostels in Phuket that offer a better service.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and really enjoyed the time spent there. The room is very spacious and bright, freshly renovated, has a comfortable bed, good water pressure. The hotel itself is 10 minutes drive from the Old Town, the most convenient way is to rent a bike to move around the locations The manager and the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. We can recommend this place for your comfortable trip.

The hotel staff is not very friendly, the rooms are quite cozy, the bed is very hard and wrapped in cellophane, which is uncomfortable. You can book for two nights, but I would not recommend for more. Opposite the hotel, another hotel is being renovated, they start drilling from the very morning, making noise, it is impossible to sleep. The construction will wake you up at about 7 am. Also, on the first floor of the hotel there are two workstations, convenient if you need to work on your laptop (photo of the work area is uploaded)

Did not get the actual room that i have book - twin bed rooms instead get a room with 1 queen size bed. Talk to the receptionist and she explained that the twin bed is limited and fully booked. So I ask to have 1 extra pillow to put in middle between me and my friend. Receptionist politely not charge me for the extra pillow. She do amazing job in handling my situation. Nice room and the AC was perfect! Definitely will come again in future.

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

TTW2024Staff look a bit shy and quiet. Booked a Family Room with 3 beds and got room 6 on 2nd floor next to the stairs. Direct beach and restaurant are at the back of the resort. At night they and resorts nearby have dinner tables so the beach is lit and lively. Early in the morning they don’t set up yet so it’s very good to walk, run and exercise there. They’re having a renovation. Room 6 had very strong paint smell. Water faucets are usable so they don’t change yet. Hose spray for toilet is on the right and you will twist your body to hang it on the left. Coffee making table, clothes cabinet and safe box are inside the bathroom with walls to separate. Drain hole is near the wall of the toilet so when we shower, the toilet room is wet too. Wall mount shower gel and shampoo. Bring your tooth brush set as most places in Thailand don’t give. Water drains slow a bit but not clogged. Other rooms on ground floor are being renovated also. It’s a small resort in the shape of a town house and they have a small lane to walk to the beach. Next to that lane are 3 or 4 guest rooms on ground floor. If you need the best room, it’s on 2nd floor at the end and you have 2 large beds, a separate large room with microwave, table with 4 chairs at the balcony overlooking the beach. Other guests can walk to this balcony too. View is the sea and the roof of the beach front restaurant. Room 6 has a table & 2 chairs outside the room so when you smoke and eat, expect to see other guests walking pass. Tops convenience store is on the other side of the street. Many shops, restaurants and food stalls on this street. The resort is at the end of this small beach town & next to the National Park. Walking about 30 minutes towards the park direction, we saw a tiny coral islet and we crossed the coral underwater way from main beach to that islet. Wear aqua shoes as it’s impossible to walk with bare feet. Water level is around waist line. The main beach has a ***** of sand running towards that tiny islet and the other side has high sand. Very beautiful sunset. If you want to do that, go before 4pm because when it’s dark (after 6pm, mid October), there is almost no light in that zone and water starts to raise higher which means it’s more difficult to walk back from the tiny islet. The walk is short with strong waves. Water is warm.

22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later). But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform. Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this. A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq ! Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste. Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine. Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

GGuest UserExcellent service! This hotel was the best I've stayed at on this island. There is an elevator, a fridge, bottled water every day, hot water, and a stable WiFi connection. There are plenty of food choices available nearby, local or European. Even though rooms are not huge, they utilized this space to the fullest. This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The only downsides I can think of are area-related. There are no beaches available nearby.

IIvan KraljThe mattress was comfortable, but sadly the top middle beds are not the best place to put tall people (as they will inevitably hit beams with their head). Also, the electricity socket in my bed wasnt sturdy enough to hold a charger in place, so i had to improvize with putting a bag and a cap as the base, so it wouldnt be following out. AC in the rooms is turned off between 11:30 and 16:30, fyi. In terms of other facilities, everything else seemed spacious enough. Actually so spacious that i think the architect could have put additional toilets in the bathroom, as two didnt seem to be enough for the 1st floor (30ish people?). There were however 3 urinals, most awkwardly placed near the always opened doors, and sinks used by everyone (the bathroom is unisex). It would have made sense to get rid of these, and rather have another toilet. As for showers, there are three. Water pressure was fine, even if it was hard to get truly warm/hot water. Shower gel/shampoo available, as well as necessary hooks to hang your stuff. Breakfast was a simple scrambled egg with a slice of toast and butter, cabbage salad with mayonnaise, and a cheap sausage. Fine to start a day, but not so fulfilling. Coffee and tea available at breakfast, water throughout the day. You can also use the kitchen to make your own lunch or dinner. In the lobby and outside, quite a few areas to hang out and chill. If you wanted to play pool, thats 20 baht. Board games were for free. Top floor has washing machines (50 baht per load) and a dryer (10 for 5 min), but i think you would have to spend quite some time there reloading the coins. After 2 turns that didnt dry much, i hanged my laundry on limited hanging space, but beware if you do that, as it can be windy, and many clothes were flying around. The staff is approachable and hospitable, even if their basic level of English can lead to quite a few misunderstandings, as I witnessed.

GGuest UserThere is no smell in the room, and it feels very comfortable. The windows in the room are quite large, the ventilation effect is good, the lighting is also very good, and the whole room is very bright. After we sent the things back to our room, we ate some meals in the surrounding restaurants. At night, we went back to the apartment and took a hot bath. It was very comfortable. Hot water is provided throughout the day, no matter what time it takes to take a bath. Very adequate.

Ffranxxx_xxx8The location is a bit far from the urban area of Phuket Patong. It is quite a distance from the main scenic spots because Phuket is quite a big island. It's very close to Carnival Magic, only a 5-minute drive away. There is a Pub Cafe Del Mar on the right when you go out. It's super beautiful and huge, close to the seaside, and it's full of foreigners. The hotel rooms are all in the back half, and the front half is used for commercial purposes. There is no elevator😅 We were tired of carrying our luggage up to the 4th floor. .

Sstyle RyukyuI stayed at this hotel in February 2024, which is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Bangla Street and the department store, with a 7-Eleven across the street. The area is bustling with people and cars, offering a sense of security at night, although the noise level might be a concern for some. The hotel is staffed with a security guard who is available for late-night check-ins, and the staff at the clothing store downstairs were polite and helpful during daytime check-outs. I stayed in a queen room, which was clean and comfortable with a large bed. The air conditioning worked well, but the lack of a balcony and the placement of the air conditioning unit outside the window meant it was best kept closed. A brighter room would have been preferable. Basic amenities such as shampoo were provided, but no toothbrush. Upon request, a hairdryer was brought to my room. Although there is no pool, there is a large outdoor space where you can relax. Interaction with the staff was minimal, but everyone from the cleaners to the front desk and the security guard was kind and helpful. Considering the overall hotel prices in Phuket, I found this hotel to be a good deal. Its convenience for a casual stay makes me want to return. This hotel is ideal for those who enjoy nightlife and shopping, but it may not suit those looking for a quiet retreat. It is recommended for travelers who prioritize location and value for money.
