I came to Shanghai to visit a friend, and as two girls, we were most afraid of choosing a 'catfishing' Airbnb, but this one truly surprised me. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was: it's spacious! The floor-to-ceiling windows let all the sunlight in, making the entire living room bright and airy. We spread our suitcases on the floor to pack and unpack, and there was still plenty of room to walk around, no need to squeeze past each other. The sofa was wide enough that we could sprawl out on it, eating takeout and binge-watching shows for an entire afternoon. What I liked most was the excellent attention to safety details. The windows had safety locks, so they couldn't be opened too wide; the cabinet doors all had soft-close hinges, so they closed gently without slamming. My friend said I was 'overthinking things,' but when you're staying alone somewhere, these details really add a lot of value. The kitchen, though small, had everything: microwave, induction cooker, pots, pans, and tableware. One evening, we bought frozen dumplings from the downstairs supermarket and cooked them, and my friend even fried two eggs. We sat at the dining table, eating and chatting, which was even more comfortable than eating out at a restaurant. The washing machine with a dryer was an absolute lifesaver. One afternoon, it suddenly rained, and we got two jackets soaked. We threw them in to wash and dry, and they were ready to wear out again that evening. No need to bring a pile of extra clothes; my suitcase felt half as light. At night, we dimmed the lights, turned on the projector, and snuggled on the sofa to watch a movie. With the curtains drawn, it felt like a mini-cinema. The subway station is right downstairs, it's a ten-minute bike ride to the Bund, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is within walking distance. The location is simply unbeatable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shanghai.

this hotel has exceeded my expectations in terms of service, cleanliness, and price point. from the very day i checked in, to the day i checked out, the service attitude of all the staff has been consistently above par. The front desk staff are polite and attentive, always answering requests/queries quickly. Their room option with breakfast is a really nice touch - they deliver it to your room at your preferred time selected a day before. The cleaning ladies are friendly and meticulous, always knocking to get permission to enter and smiling when they enter the room. They do their cleaning daily very thoroughly, changing towels and giving you new bottles of distilled water. And oh, they change bedsheets every 3-4 days. They even have a common kitchen on every floor for guests who like to cook. i rather not reveal too much more information so as not to give away their competitive edge, but this hotel has its way to make guests feel a sense of warmth without being imposing or appearing ”fake”. i would say, it feels like professionalism taken to the next level. The rooms look exactly the way they are in the pictures (minus a throw towel for effect) minimalistic, with clever space management and good layout, clean and new. Best of all every room comes with its own washing machine with dryer. if you dont like to use a dryer, they have a clever clothe hanger in every room too that doesnt take up space as it has a remote control to raise it up and down. Their occupancy rate is high though, so if you see rooms available for your desired dates, better to book before they are gone.

Our stay at WENDING Serviced Apartment was absolutely wonderful. I stayed here with my family, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The location is a major highlight—conveniently close to the subway, making getting around the city incredibly easy, and with shopping malls just a short walk away. This was our second time staying here, and it’s truly the perfect choice for anyone visiting Shanghai for more than a week. The serviced apartment offers all the comforts of home, with the added bonus of a 24-hour butler service that makes everything effortless. The rooms are warm and cozy—the heating works exceptionally well—which made our stay especially comfortable during the cooler days. We’ll definitely choose WENDING again on our next trip!

I had a really pleasant stay here and would definitely stay again on my next trip to Shanghai. I really liked the location. The area is quiet and not too crowded, but still very convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby. There’s a McDonald’s within walking distance, and Luckin Coffee is also nearby. Food and coffee delivery was very easy and convenient. The staff were very helpful. Some of them speak English, and even those who don’t were always willing to help. A special thanks to G, who was very helpful during check-in. I arrived very early at around 7:30 AM, and they allowed me to check in early as soon as a room became available at around 9:30 AM, which I really appreciated. The room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. There is a refrigerator, microwave and washing machine, and you can ask housekeeping for laundry detergent. There is also a cooktop, although no cookware or kitchen utensils are provided, which wasn’t a problem for me since food delivery is so convenient. The curtains can be controlled by voice using “Xiaole,” although the voice control is mainly for opening and closing the curtains. The toilet is automatic, and the air conditioning can be adjusted yourself. Another big plus for me was that I didn’t smell any cigarette smoke at all, either inside my room or in the hallway. Housekeeping came every day and kept the room clean, replenishing bottled water, tea and amenities regularly. Overall, I was very happy with my stay. It was peaceful, comfortable and convenient, and the facilities in the room made it especially good for a longer stay. I would happily stay here again.

It's also quiet around here, not noisy at all. There are a lot of international guests staying at the hotel.

I've stayed here many times, and the rooms are always very clean. The service is excellent, and it feels very safe. Each room comes with a washing machine, refrigerator, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. It's also very close to the train station, and transportation to places like Nanjing East Road is convenient. The subway station is also just a stone's throw away. Highly recommend!

The hotel itself is located in a quiet area, a rarity in this country's largest and busiest city. Despite its peaceful setting, it is conveniently close to Metro Line 11, ensuring easy access to the city’s vibrant heart. The option to open the windows in my room was a breath of fresh air—literally. It allowed me to enjoy the fresh breeze without leaving the comfort of my well-appointed room. Speaking of the room, it was a perfect blend of luxury and practicality. The cleanliness was up to the high standard, and it felt like the facility was brand new. The room was equipped with a small kitchen area, complete with a stove, rice cooker, refrigerator, and even a washer. Although there was no dryer in the room, a quick trip to the second floor opened up options not only to dry clothes but also to access private dining/meeting rooms and a well-equipped gym. Every night was a peaceful retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, rivaling the peace of my own home. The tranquil environment contributed to undisturbed nights, ensuring restful sleep and rejuvenated mornings. The housekeeping staff, particularly two young men, were notably diligent and affable, keeping my room clean and well-supplied. The front desk staff were equally helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Assistance was dispatched via a charming, albeit slower, robot—no tipping required. This hotel apartment not only met but exceeded my expectations, making it a top recommendation for anyone seeking a 'home away from home.' We always stay bere when.we come to Shanghai! The location is perfect to be in.the middle of the city and the apartment is just what we need for a family of.4. We will come to stay again soon.

I stayed here 2 months as a solo female traveler and had a decent experience. First off: Peter was WONDERFUL! He was so extremely helpful and keen that I should have a good time and I am really grateful for his attentive and kind communication. There is a large construction going on right by the building (and it will continue through Dec 2025) so there is noise every day from ca 09:00 to 22:00 (at the latest). Peter helped me change rooms immediately to one that was facing the courtyard, which was better (but lets face it, the noise is still there so if you want peace and quiet, this isnt it). In addition there were repair within the building too when I stayed - of course this is not to the fault of anyone. ** Pros: location is close to 2 metro lines, 2 shopping centres. Its very convenient to get most places and close to SHA airport (Pudong is further off). The security is good. The garbage station is open most of the day. They offered change of sheets and towels weekly which was great. **Cons: the rooms are a bit old so there is a smell, I also was unlucky that the previous guest had smoked despite it being forbidden. Saw a cockroach once (but never again - be careful to throw away garbage quickly) and also the doors are quite thin so you'll hear your neighbors in the corridors. Rooms are ”surface” clean but not deep clean, so if you like squeaky clean like me you have to get your own materials. There is definitely buildup. Overall it was a decent stay, and I left with a good feeling thanks to Peter and the nice staff there! Thanks!
