Location is very good and near JR station. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. However, there is no Onsen or public bath. Bathroom is rather small. Overall it’s good value for the money paid :)

The service is very good, many waiters can speak English, the location is not very convenient, so the environment is quiet. Because it is a Japanese temple, I personally think it is not suitable for large groups of people to stay. There are not many restaurants around. I stayed on weekdays and many restaurants were closed. Overall, it is good, breakfast and dinner are very exquisite.

The room is large and close to the station, so it's very convenient to take the JR and the bus. There are vending machines for buying drinks and instant noodles, as well as self-service microwaves, washing machines, massage chairs, and irons. It's so comfortable to take a bath after hiking every day. The uncle at the front desk also helped me exchange change, and there is a big supermarket next to it where you can buy all kinds of food. A very cost-effective hotel.

Convenient location near the railway station, but the trains do not disturb you - you can't hear them in the hotel. New, comfortable, spacious rooms. Since mu friend and I did a hiking trip, we walked to this accommodation. I think it would be better to drive or taking bus to there instead of walking. I really appreciate the outdoor onsen. The hotel is very close to the bus stop that taking us to our next hiking point, just a few minutes walk. There are some attractions nearby, like the big figure hanging on the bridge. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit them. If you’re staying here, you should arrive earlier and take a look at the surroundings. The front desk staff can speak Mandarin. So if you are a Chinese, you will find it easier to communicate. The hotel is very clean, because you need to change shoes everywhere. 

Standard Japanese business hotel, albeit with an onsen and newer than most. Breakfast is adequate, with western coffee on offer. Location is not central, but within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Shimo-Isaka station, restaurants, and a supermarket. Not exactly geared towards non-Japanese travelers, since the staff hardly speaks English and the hotel information given is only in Japanese. Extremely satisfied with it considering the affordable room rate.

Grampus Shirahama A modest hotel right near the ocean. The room was clean, but the air conditioning was all dirty. I wouldn’t want to stay here in summer. The breakfast was nearly the same as in every other hotel in Japan, though the grilled fish was a bit stale. The dining room has a wonderful view over the ocean. The staff almost didn’t speak English but tried to help anyways. Plus: the hotel has its own onsen. Minus: no bathroom in the rooms, only toilets on the floor, no shower.

I would like to call it a seaside hotel that you must stay in your life. The hotel recommended by the up-loader made me embark on a third trip to Wakayama. However, there is a convenience store 5 minutes away by car, and Toretore Market is also nearby, so it was a good location! If I have a chance, I would like to go again ^^

Almost all the staff are foreigners, but they all work hard and can speak and understand Japanese almost normally, so there was no problem because they were foreigners. However, the curtain in the large public bath is still dirty, and I was surprised that it had been dirty for five weeks and had not been washed, probably because the hotel's executives were not on patrol. The carpet on the floor was also dirty and worn, and this is because it was left to deteriorate over time, but it is a state that cannot be found in a first-class hotel, and it is a shame that they have foreign staff who work hard. *This may be the same everywhere, but this time I encountered a male staff member slacking off again. When I went to the large public bath at 9 o'clock after breakfast, a male staff member was sitting on a chair and playing. When they saw me, they would hurriedly clean up, but last week, a staff member got naked, took his smartphone and went to the open-air bath and talked while bathing, so it seems that male staff members have a habit of slacking off. *There are sauna mats provided, but after checking in I went to the large public bath early to use the sauna, and found a large number of used mats there. They were still there in the same state in the morning, and I thought they probably hadn't been properly washed, so I didn't use the sauna. It seems that executives should be patrolling the area.

You have to put the luggage hole on the three-story stairs. If you have less physical strength, it is difficult to complete. Although the method of entering the war is easy, there is really nothing around, and it is more like Philadelphia after night. Although this is a good hotel in addition to having a special feeling.

We set a better 50 square meters room, but gave us a ”refuge tool room” directly to the parking lot, and the communication repeatedly changed us to a much smaller downgraded room. There are many empty rooms. Eat: Breakfast and dinner are buffet, the choice and taste are not bad. Hot springs: There are three, male hot springs, female hot springs, mixed bathing (wearing swimsuits), but in fact, the mixed bath is a small to exaggerated small pool, almost can be ignored. Pool: There is a swimming pool for children to play, and children are more happy to play.

很偏遠、雖然是海景房、很漂亮。屋子很大衞生很好。但是這個酒店1公裡外才有便利店和飯店。最近唯一一個飯店開放時間很短。雖然離三段壁很近、但是沒有車不太推薦。適合自駕遊的朋友。其次沒有工作人員、溝通很不方便。沒有睡衣和洗衣房。比起酒店更像民宿。

It's an old hotel with good hygiene, average location and quiet surrounding. There is not much business around, and you have to go a little further to eat and drink. There are toiletries and maps in the lobby, which is quite convenient.

The usual Toyoko Inn standard, clean and tidy, first-class service, but the lobby is too small, and breakfast is served in the lobby, which is very crowded and affects the mood of enjoying breakfast.

I booked this treasure hotel for the Japanese-style room with sea view. It was my first time to Kata, a small seaside city with a particularly beautiful place. The Taiyu tram is very cute. The hotel has a free shuttle to Kata Station. You can call the hotel in advance to confirm the arrival time on the day. The car was not available until 9 o'clock the next morning, so I walked directly to the station in the morning and arrived in about 20 minutes. Baidu Maps is still very accurate. There are plain public yukatas and free gray split-toe socks in the room. If you like cute yukatas, you can choose one yourself in the lobby. The room is a bit like a circle, with a toilet, bathroom and a sofa facing the sea view on the outside. The Japanese tatami is in the box. The area is quite large. The tatami bedding will be laid out when you come in to eat. The hotel's hot spring faces the sunset, and I soaked for nearly an hour to wait for the sunset. The men's and women's baths will be switched in the morning and evening. The sunset at the seaside is really a great view. Dinner can be added, it is kaiseki cuisine, and there are really many sea bream dishes. If you have a chance, you must come to Kata in Wakayama

The room is indeed not big. It would be a bit restrictive for two people to move around in the room at the same time. The bathroom door opens directly in the way and can bump into it accidentally. However, the facilities are complete, neat and clean, and it has good reviews. It is also relatively close to the JR station, you can get there within 10 minutes on foot.

Very good value for money Excellent service, location and facilities. It was a family of four, and the size was reasonable, so I could relax comfortably.   Located right in front of the beach, the sound of waves, the sound of wind and the ocean view are more than ever staying at the hotel No !! It's very close to Osaka city and Marina City and other amusement parks. I fished on the beach in front of me and caught four red sea cucumbers. The breakfast was also very clean and delicious. I think I will use it often

Fabulous seaside view and nice Japanese traditional style onsen with Seaview. They also switch male and female side every day so you can enjoy both onsen in one trip. Their check out time is 10am and check in around 15:00 so the time you can enjoy is a little limited. But I would recommend you take the breakfast and dinner inclusive to have the whole experience and it is quite far away from any food and no convenient transport except transfer to city center every morning.

I spent two nights with my family during the Obon holiday. There is good access by route bus from Wakayama City Station, and it is convenient to get off at Masagocho bus stop or Prefectural Office Main Gate. There is a convenience store nearby, so the location is good. The staff was very kind and courteous throughout my stay, and I felt very comfortable. Not only the rooms but also every corner of the hotel is thoroughly cleaned, so you can spend your time in a clean environment. One disappointing point is the aging of the air conditioning equipment. Even when set to MAX, the room temperature never dropped below 26℃. They kindly accommodated my request for a room change, but they did not resolve the issue. However, we were able to get through the tropical night by being lent a circulator. Due to the air conditioning, the facility's rating is a little low, but if you change the season, I think it would be a perfect score. I would like to use it again in the cooler months.
