This was second stay this year whilst visiting my son. Hotel is a short stroll from main railway station & a large department store with food outlets. Staff at hotel are helpful & polite with a varying grasp of English. The breakfast is reasonable but with room for improvement. For European pallets there was no cheese or cold meats, limited bread choice & only undercooked scrambled eggs but this is common throughout Japan. However, I was disappointed on one aspect. Had been expecting some fresh oranges - Wakayama grows them - on both my visits none appeared. Bicycles are also available for hire & we did this free of charge whilst visiting in April & it was thoroughly enjoyable & a good way to sightsee. I would recommend this hotel.
Convenient location near the railway station, but the trains do not disturb you - you can't hear them in the hotel. New, comfortable, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast, there is a self-service laundry (washing machine and dryer). There are many cafes and shops nearby, the sea is a 10-minute walk away. On Sunday mornings there is a farmers' market by the sea
The amenities are a bit on the retro side, but the overall service and comfort are beyond expectations. Excellent bedding and linen, nice fragrance in public spaces, vending machines with cup ramen and other food and drinks, free toiletries and tea sachets at the lobby. Asked for a room with the castle view and the hotel kindly met my request. Amazing! Location also Ok. Breakfast quite nice, especially the Japanese dishes. Bus stop and convenience store nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
The room is indeed not big. It would be a bit restrictive for two people to move around in the room at the same time. The bathroom door opens directly in the way and can bump into it accidentally. However, the facilities are complete, neat and clean, and it has good reviews. It is also relatively close to the JR station, you can get there within 10 minutes on foot.
This is the second use.
All the facilities are clean and there is a washing machine because it is a private night, so it is comfortable! !! And above all, it is a conscientious price, which is very helpful.
However, since there is nothing around, I have to finish all shopping, and it is a little inconvenient for me to walk 々. I wish I had a bicycle that I could rent for a few minutes ...
But I definitely want to stay when I go to Adventure World 😊
My recent stay at [Hotel Name], booked through Ctrip, was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn't be better – just a 5-minute walk to both the subway station and the bustling commercial area, making it incredibly convenient for transportation and shopping. The room itself was cozy and immaculately clean, with incredibly soft bedding that ensured two wonderfully comfortable nights' sleep. The bathroom featured a practical wet/dry separation, and the smart toilet coupled with the spacious rain shower added a touch of modern comfort. The hotel's service was truly exceptional and thoughtful. From the warm and professional front desk staff during check-in to the efficient room service, every interaction was a pleasure. They even offered a complimentary sweet soup in the evening – the attention to detail was impeccable! Breakfast boasted a wide and delicious variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and I will absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended to everyone!
Opening in November 2022, very new hotel, Route Inn Hotels. The hotel is very new and clean, with a 43” TV, Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and the hospitality of the staff.
There is a large public bathhouse about a 10-minute walk from Shimosaka Station. There is no convenience store nearby, the nearest convenience store is 7-11 Kinokawa Shimoisaka store, about 10 minutes walk. 3 minutes drive to Donki
It's an old hotel with good hygiene, average location and quiet surrounding. There is not much business around, and you have to go a little further to eat and drink. There are toiletries and maps in the lobby, which is quite convenient.
The experience at Toyoko Inn Wakayama was very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located near Wakayama Station and transportation is very convenient. Although the room is small, it is fully equipped, clean and tidy, and the bed is comfortable, ensuring a good sleep quality. The staff is enthusiastic and thoughtful, with a good service attitude, giving people a warm feeling. The breakfast has a wide variety and tastes good, perfect for the start of the day. Overall, Toyoko Inn is a cost-effective choice, very suitable for business trips or family trips, and worth recommending!
This is a wonderful hotel right on the beach. It's very clean and tidy, and the staff are warm and welcoming. It has an outdoor hot spring right on the beach. The hotel is located in a small, quiet village. There's not much to eat nearby, though there's a Lawson. There's no restaurant on site. I hope to return to this hotel someday, and I'd definitely stay for at least a week to refresh myself.

Great
RRach.CCWA typical traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. The facilities are not new but they are very clean and hygienic. The room has an incomparable sea view, and the hot spring facing the sea makes people feel the peaceful atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast were very exquisite and delicious, but not very luxurious. The location is far away from Wakayama JR. We made an appointment in advance for the hotel's pick-up and drop-off service. Otherwise, apart from taxis, we don't know what public transportation is available to the hotel. It seems that self-driving travel is more suitable.
YYutunyueWhen I wake up every morning, the sun shines on my butt. Outside the window, Qiaohang Rock is soaked in the sea water before the tide recedes. Usually, not many people stay in the hotel, but the night of the 17th was an exception, because the rocket 🚀 was launched at 11 am on the 18th, and many people drove RVs here. The front desk of the hotel was very nice, the room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was conveniently separated into dry and wet areas. There was no meal, but the supermarket in this station was very delicious, especially the Red Angel Roasted Sweet Potato 🍠, which is worth a try.

GGuest UserGet off the JR and take the bus for 20 stops to Figure 1. You will see it when you get off. The hotel is actually quite big. The room is clean and tidy, but there is no bathroom. I may not have seen it clearly when I booked it. It is a public bathroom. Anyway, it feels inconvenient. The included dinner is not bad. The restaurant faces the sea, the hot spring is also good, and there are 3 pools outdoors. The hotel is convenient to the attractions

YYekouさんIt was a very good experience!!! The 0.5 points for hygiene are that the window glass of the sea view room should be very clean, but this is the only shortcoming of the hotel, which slightly affects the experience.
I just remembered to comment on the trip after the Spring Festival. The sea view room has a beautiful view, the room is huge and very clean, and the quilt and bed are very warm. The breakfast and dinner I booked were very rich and delicious, and very attentive. The room service and restaurant services are very good, and the uncle at the front desk is also very good.
The only regret is that the itinerary is too full, and I didn’t enjoy the hot springs in the hotel more, nor did I walk more in the village, but this is a place worth visiting and a hotel worth staying in.
XXiaomu2020Very satisfied, especially the handsome guy Weng Sang. His Chinese service was warm and thoughtful. He solved all the problems I had with the Kumano Kodo itinerary. He helped me buy the stamping book and check in my luggage. He also explained the bus timetables in all directions, which took up a lot of his time. Finally, he helped us deliver our luggage to the room. I bought a one-night stay and two-meals package. The food was delicious. In short, I had a good time and was satisfied with the food. Thank you
GGuest UserLovely ryokan / hostel accommodation with private rooms and shared toilets. There is a free to use private bath and onsen within the hotel - reserve at the front desk. TV included. Nice environment. Would come again.
YYouziのbinvThe location of the hotel is relatively remote, so don’t be misled by other guests’ reviews. You can walk 1.4 kilometers from the station to the hotel 😓 It actually takes a long time to walk, and you have to go through 3 tunnels, especially the one near the hotel... The sun was so strong at noon, and there were no lights in the tunnel. It was so dark that I couldn't see my fingers. It was quite scary. However, the hotel staff were very nice and enthusiastic, and most of them were elderly uncles.
The room is very old, like it was built during the Showa period. There is no way to check in before 3pm. However, the open-air hot spring is very good, surrounded by mountains and sea on three sides, and the indoor hot spring is extremely hot... I checked in at the end of November and almost fainted in it. If you want to go to the station, the hotel has a free bus to take guests from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning, so be sure to plan the time in advance. The hotel's breakfast is quite rich. If you are not particularly picky about taste, you can still eat it!
AANNAFabulous Japanese breakfast. Very delicious and stylish.
Quite and picturesque location. Nature, mountain road, deers in forest around here
Comfortable matres and soft pillow.
Traditional pajama yukata and beauty treatment set in room. Private small courtyard.
Great Japanese public bath onsen. Cozy, hot and beautiful. There was all you need- shampoo, soap etc.
Spacious parking.
You may buy beer, soft drink, ice-cream and some food on front desk.
In real life hotel looks much better than on photos.
Please, make new professional photo of you hotel for other future clients.
