We stayed at Miyako and it was very convenient as it was next to Aeon Mall (10 minutes away you can walk to Avanti Mall) and the Kyoto Station (just cross the road)- near exit 6. Can see the JR train from our bedroom window. The room was spacious , bed and pillow was very comfortable. There was also a sofa & small table for us to have meals. Overall a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay again next time we come back Kyoto!

Overall, I really liked the hotel!
The location is super convenient — close to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean and the design was minimal but stylish, which I really loved. They also have a relaxing bath house, which was a nice bonus. One of my favorite things was that the TV in the room could connect directly to my phone — so convenient!
However, there was one issue.
My friend lost a necklace, and it felt like the staff didn’t communicate well with each other. It seemed like no proper report or message was passed on, because every time we asked, we had to explain everything from the beginning. That was a bit frustrating.
I really hope the necklace is found — please contact us as soon as possible if it is!
That’s all from me. Overall, still a good stay!

We booked 2 nights in this hotel , excellent location , very clean … amenities are available….. room are small (but it is Japon style !) … and they offer drinks 🍹 till 8pm (but we can’t enjoy because they close too early if you go out for dinner!) …. rooms are quite small , they don’t clean except if you ask (they mentioned) …. Nothing to complain but I booked for my parents the hotel next to this one (looks more “chic”) … for the same price …. But better than this one .. we can notice that !
Good hotel, not far from station or centre of town (about half an hour walk each). Coffee provided all day in the lobby. Gym available but costs 1000 yen per visit and requires reservation which is a bit annoying. Rooms are big compared to other hotels of similar price in Japan. Coin laundry is good (cash only). Onsen is nice - separate for men and women as is standard in Japan.

This hotel provided a truly memorable experience with its exceptional attention to detail. The serene atmosphere promoted relaxation from the moment I arrived. Every aspect of the design, from the lobby to the guest rooms, exuded a sense of tranquility. The staff's attentiveness and warm hospitality enhanced the overall stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and peaceful getaway.
Right in the heart of Kyoto, located only a short walk from Nishiki Market, Nijo Castle and the local metro, the OneFive Kyoto boasts a top-notch location for those looking to stay and explore this wonderful city.
My room was both comfortable and clean, with services provided daily so that you can always have fresh towels after a day of exploring.
Free coffee—and good quality—and toiletries add some icing on the cake.
I highly enjoyed my stay here, and I’m sure you will too.

Not a bad hotel to stay in. There is a complimentary drink for each guest per stay in the hotel. The concept is towards minimalist, comfortable beds and fairly sound proof. The twin room is consider hire spacious. There is a sauna and onsen (male/female switched in alternate days), but we didn’t utilise.
The toilet Is a bit dark and wash basin is situated outside.
Check in is at 17:00hrs and check out is before 14:00hrs. It’s good for guests who are catching a later flight.
Staff are wonderful and very helpful.

We were arrived early before the check-in time, thanks to a young man allowed us to check-in. My room just directly faced in fron of Kyoto station. The hotel room facilities are new. And the room soundproof is awesome. QUIET & PEACE. The past few days, we were able to sleep tight. The area is very convenience as surrounding all restaurants, cafes, AEON mall, Babies Toy er ous , Isetan & Kyoto towel. Kyoto station is enormous! Anyway, some areas are dirty.
If you are looking for a good value hotel in Kyoto, with reasonable transit connections, the Mitsu Shijo is a good option. We had a relatively small standard room but managed with 2 people.
Pros: Sento - clean, relaxing and spacious with a nice makeup area.
Buses to different sights nearby.
Breakfast is Japanese and the coffee machine makes good lattes.
Very nice staff
Life groceries nearby provides variety of food and takeaways.
Cons: The hotel is in the centre of the city and while that may seem useful, it’s quite a trip to the major sights and areas.
The local restaurants also should be booked on tabelog to make sure you get in.

Great location, it is convenient to go everywhere in kyoto. I went to Enryaku-ji temple on the Mount Hie on this occasion. We can go by JR from kyoto station to the station Sakamoto, then change to take Salamoto Cable Car. This tour is much more convenient than by bus.
Hope to visit again next time during this summer, because the landscape is so greenery, good for the eyes to enjoy.
Thanks

SSet Chu EvelynRooms are small but equipped with all important things like kettle, washing machine and trousers press. Location wise I wouldn’t say is the best as there’s nothing much around the area but is about a 3 minutes walk to the station. Service is good as they helped us with our luggage delivery so it was fuss free. The downside is the lack of house cleaning because they only change towels and empty dustbin. Also, we bought the room with “window”, it was literally a small flossed glass with nothing to see and barely provided any natural light.

AAiliIt is a lovely place to stay with a fancy roof top bar. The location is okay, not far away from Kiyomizu dera temple, but still several bus stops from Kyoto Station. The hotel does provide shuttle bus to Kyoto Station but only allows carry-on luggages. The breakfast from the a la carte menu is mainly omelette, so you will probably get bored of it after trying for two consecutive days. The drip coffee provided by the hotel is amazing. Overall, a good experience to stay at this hotel. The bonus goes to the skincare products they provided for free.

MMickey.P720We are surprising this hotel is above our expectation. This hotel is a walking distance to Kyoto Station and bus station. Surrounding is a mall, restaurant and convenience stores. The entrance is grand and the hotel lobby is nice. The hotel staff is able to speak English fluently. The hotel provided coffee, tea and soft drink free of charge daily. All amenities such as toothbrush, comb, skin care, bath powder are placed in the room. The bed is comfortable come with 4 pillows. One great thing is toilet, shower and basin are separated. This is one of the best hotel that we ever stay in Japan. Definitely we will stay at this hotel again if revisit to Kyoto.

GGuest UserHotel is conveniently located close to Umekoji train station, with the Umekoji park next to it. Hotel is spacious with plenty of communal space for family activities. Great place for family to chill out for a few days whilst exploring the greater Kyoto area.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between Kyoto and Toji station, approx. 5-min walk from Toji station, 15-min walk from Kyoto station.
The room is spacious and there isn't no issue to open two 24” luggages.
One big plus point of the hotel is the public bath separately for males and females. Hot bath, cold bath and sauna are available.
One small downside is no bottled water provided.
Very pleasant experience in overall. I will return to this hotel during my next visit.
