Throughout my stay, I felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed. From the moment I arrived, there was a natural, easygoing atmosphere that quickly put me at ease and helped me settle in.
The location is also ideal – basically everything is within walking distance, and the old town is right nearby, making it super convenient to pop out and explore whenever I wanted.
What's more, the guesthouse's cleanliness was truly impressive: it was exceptionally clean and well-organized, with attention to detail evident everywhere. This made me feel particularly secure and comfortable during my stay.
Overall, there's absolutely nothing to fault; everything was just perfect. I would gladly recommend this place to others.
Stayed here for a short break and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Location was convenient for dining and transport. Overall, good value for money and would consider returning again for future trips or business visits there.
Traveling to Macau with my 90-year-old father, we stayed at the Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16. The location was incredibly convenient for getting around, and our overall experience was excellent. As soon as we entered the lobby, we were warmly greeted and guided through the check-in process. The hotel offers a thoughtful taxi service, and the breakfast, in particular, was incredibly nutritious, abundant, diverse, and made with fresh ingredients. The elegant and beautiful restaurant environment also greatly enhanced our dining experience. It was a truly special stay, and I highly recommend this hotel as a top choice for anyone visiting Macau.
The breakfast was really bad, with very limited options. Not nearly as much as you'd find at an InterCity hotel, haha. The 70-square-meter room felt smaller than expected, not as spacious as the 45-square-meter room I had at The Seven. It was just big, but the facilities were old and outdated. The air conditioner blew out damp air, and the showerhead was a hassle to use. It was pretty mediocre overall, but I guess the price was good and it looked nice in photos. Got fooled by the videos on Douyin, haha.
I booked this hotel solely because of its Nanyang-style resort, and I only stayed one night, so I can't really comment on the hotel's services. Since the hotel is quite old, the room's decor isn't what's currently trendy, so don't have high expectations. I checked in during the Qingming Festival, and the weather was a bit humid, so the room had an odor. Also, be sure to gently close the toilet seat, or it will clang shut and give you a fright! The pool is over at the resort, and it's quite beautiful, great for photos, but there are a lot of mosquitoes – I got about four or five bites just sitting there for a bit.
The hotel is very clean, the environment is new, and it offers great value for money. There's a shuttle bus right across the street in Sands that takes you to The Londoner. There's also a bus stop directly opposite the hotel entrance, making transportation quite convenient. The bathroom has a bathtub, which was lovely for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I used to always stay at hotels in the Galaxy area, but I'll definitely consider booking here again next time.
This is my second stay at the hotel. The hotel has nice Portuguese style architecture and a really relaxing atmosphere in the entrance hall. There is a nice view. I previously enjoyed my stay enough, in particular due to the exquisite bathtub, to return a second time. Little did I know that only one room has that beautiful bath tub and I was just extremely lucky on my first stay. My room this time was fine, but it just wasn’t as nice as my first stay. There was mold in the bathtub in a few places showing that the cleanliness is just standard, but not up to par for a 5 star hotel in my opinion. Macau is hot so it’seasy to have mold. Thorough cleaning is really important. In addition, because it is an older building, there are some little spiders and other little bugs in the rooms sometimes. Not any scary bugs, but still just a point.
The hotel location is in a quiet area and near a bus stop. However, there are no convenience stores in the surrounding area (closest is a 15 minute walk) and the hotel does not provide many options to make up for this. The first time I stayed here I arrived at 9 pm and wasn’t even able to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. It seemed like a joke. In addition to that, there are not many restaurants open later thanthat in the area as well. So, I don’t recommend booking this hotel if you will need to eat later on in the evening. The staff is generally helpful but were never able to solve any problems I had completely.
Personally, I think it is worth coming to the location to check out the architecture and design. There is a restaurant so you could come to eat a meal and enjoy those nice perks without staying in the hotel. I think I would come to the restaurant in the future, but I will most likely not return for another stay.
I booked a King Room with an ocean view. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The minibar items were complimentary, except for the premium bottled water and wine (though no wine was provided in the room). A deposit of MOP 1,000 was required at check-in, which was fully refunded upon checkout. The hotel also offered free shuttle buses to major hotels and key departure points across Macau. The concierge, Charles, was particularly helpful in advising us on the correct shuttle bus number to reach our intended destination.
This hotel was quite comfortable for my solo trip. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was clean, and the view outside the window was nice too. The service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very thoughtful. It's also conveniently located near attractions, within walking distance. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd consider staying here again next time. 👍🏻
Overall clean, and the bed was super comfy ✌🏻. The pillows were also really comfortable. You can store your luggage there, and it's within walking distance to the attractions. They were doing some renovations while I was there, so there was a bit of noise, but it didn't affect my sleep at night 😉.
