"Because I took my pets this time, I chose a homestay. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bath towels and towels are all disposable, and there are huge floor-to-ceiling windows, which can enjoy the charming sea view. "It may be the first time to write a review for a hotel, but I was really pleasantly surprised. After getting off the hotel shuttle bus, the luggage was directly carried to the front desk by the staff. When checking in, the service at the front desk was warm. I would like to thank Xia Xiaowang here for his patience in communicating with me and for helping to change rooms for free.
The location of the hotel is not far from Putuoshan Airport and the pier, and there is a shuttle service, about a few minutes' drive. There are gardens, outlets and bookstores nearby, and there are many options for eating. Both leisure and in the business district, in short, it is a very good choice for traveling or transiting in Zhoushan."

"Every year I go to Putuo Mountain. This time I set this famous hotel slide room. The children like it very much. The twin room has a large space. It is suitable for a family to live with a baby. The boss and the wife are also super good. You can pack the pick-up and drop-off. The hotel environment is also good. Outdoor pool laundry room, The sheets and quilts are all newly changed and disposable. I also specially brought disposable ones and they were useless. I stayed for two days because they were very close to Nansha, Putuo Mountain, Guanyin Fajie, and Ocean Park. If you have the opportunity, you will stay at their home next time. 👍👍"

"There are always some unexpected surprises when traveling in the off-season. The hotel has a duplex structure, large space, and is suitable for family travel. The overall hygiene is good. The front desk and waiters are warm and kind. Except for the shower room facilities that are a bit old, the bed is still very good and I can sleep comfortably. However, the design of this staircase is a bit useless. It would be safer to go upstairs if the direction is adjusted, or it would be better to set up obstacles or ornaments under the stairs. I almost hit my head several times when I walked in. I later used the coffee table to move it. This situation disappears when you get down the stairs. 😂"

"It was a great experience. My husband also said it was the best hotel he had stayed in so far, with good service and environment. After staying for two nights, we stayed for another night. Considering that we had to leave in the middle of the night, we chose the cheaper Yuexiang Twin Room. We called to ask if we could not change rooms, and the counter readily agreed to upgrade the room for free. In the evening, we also provided eight-treasure porridge and hot milk for the children. Mineral water was also unlimited. The room was quiet and equipped with an air purifier. It was very convenient to go to various attractions. It was really great. Thumbs up 👍👍Highly recommended 👍"

"The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and one of them even offered to help with our luggage. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. There are plenty of restaurants directly across the street, and a food street right next to the hotel, all within easy walking distance. Upon arrival, we were even given a complimentary room upgrade. GGuest UserPutoshan is well off the foreigner travel path and information in English is limited. That the nearest train station is a few hours away in Ningbo only makes it more complicated. That’s why I was happy to find this homestay/hotel with its helpful English speaking owner “良筑”. I called and he added me on WeChat to give me advice and drop me pins (hint:the “south” bus station in Ningbo is adjacent to the train station, next to the taxi queue). He explained where the four main sightseeing spots on the island were and gave me advice about how to tackle them in a day. As for the hotel itself, perfectly fine: clean and comfortable and affordable. Only disadvantage is it’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the ferry building, about an hour walk. But it’s easy to catch taxis to the hotel and then 良筑 will drive you back to town (about 20 rmb each way). Also, immediately across the street is an enormous new Buddhist temple with a really beautiful interior that I would have missed seeing if I hadn’t stayed at this hotel. It needs at least an hour. The nearby town is small but has many seafood restaurants. All in all, if you’re a foreigner with limited Chinese ability hoping to visit Putoshan, then this is probably the right hotel for you as 良筑 will help you to plan and organize your visit. Plan to arrive by midday and stay for two nights. You can see it all in that time.

GGuest UserThe restaurant has a 180° sea view and a sea-to-sky swimming pool, which is very impressive. The boss gave us a cappuccino for a simple breakfast. The boss was very nice. Three children and four adults were accommodated during the family trip without feeling crowded. There were children's tents and parent-child sofas. The pick-up and drop-off service was very convenient, which improved the efficiency of the entire trip. The pick-up driver was very helpful We made an appointment to watch the sunrise at the uninhabited village and Dongya cliff. The cost was very reasonable and the scenery was beautiful. A very recommended hotel, you can enjoy star service in a small rural fishing village.

CCheungAmandaWe love everything about Healray Collection. Our flight arrived late, and took a late ferry over to the Island. Luckily they had shuttle service from and to Ferry, which made it so much easier than calling a car service. When we arrived, they assisted us unloading the luggage. Our room got excellent view and could see the Guan Yin statue from our room. I'm OCD, so cleanliness is very important to me and I approved. We booked two nights, sadly we were only able to stay one night due to a Gale warning. The hotel had such a great customer service, when we were sightseeing, they gave us a call to inform us that they received a Gale warning and that the ferry will not operate the next day. They gave us an option to stay or refund us the one night if we wished to checkout to catch the ferry. They were very helpful and resourceful in that respect. The manager Zhou Min reached out to our online booking to verify our refund. We were very pleased and amazed with their extraordinary service. I personally would definitely refer and book with them again. I care about service and they have one of the best service I've had experienced.

KKelkooI stayed there for 3 nights in 2 different rooms - the queen bed garden view (no pictures) and Queen Bed sea view (pictures provided).
This accommodation is located on the east side of the island close to the bridge going to Shengshan Island. I liked it’s location because it allowed me to hike around both islands. However, there’s a bus stop just next to the hostel if you like.
The owners and their 2 dogs are adorable. They also own a small ice cream shop in the center which I recommend.
The view from then restaurant area is just perfect. They serve good food - mix of local seafood dishes and non-seafood. There’s also a small beach area just in front with no entry fee.
Overall I would highly recommend this place for the view, location and price. My only negative point is that the sea view room is located above their kitchen. The room gets the kitchen smells anytime they cook. If that does not bother you, this room has a very nice view. I personally would pick the garden view which is located separately from the main house if I would book again.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?

I booked the All Seasons because I stayed there before and it was very clean. There are not many chain hotels on the island. The price is a little expensive, about 1,500.
