"We booked a regular double room, and the hotel upgraded it to a 270-degree view starry sky suite for free. The room was large and comfortable, and it was a very satisfying experience!
Facilities: The hotel is newly opened, and the facilities are very new. What is a bit surprising is that the floor tiles in the washing area are warm;
Hygiene: From the hotel entrance all the way to the room, it is very clean and looks very comfortable;
Environment: It is a bit like a big-name single-letter hotel, very good;
Service: The butler added WeChat before check-in and has always been attentive service until check-out. If you have something, just find the butler, which is very convenient!

"Great value for money, quiet and comfortable, the sea view floor-to-ceiling windows are great for taking photos! Convenient transportation and easy to find, very close to the station and the pier. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Kaihong Plaza and RT-Mart, and you can also order takeout and have it delivered directly to the door of the room. Thumbs up to the front desk brother, who is very patient in helping guests solve problems! Highly recommended!"

"Facilities: The location is very convenient, close to the sea and at the junction of Zhujiajian and Putuoshan, making it very accessible for self-driving. It's also right next to the Ocean Park, so going there is easy. The room had everything we needed, which was perfect.
Cleanliness: Extremely clean, everything was spotless. They even proactively asked us the next day if we needed the sheets changed or any other supplies.
Environment: Overall, it's very convenient. Although there's construction nearby, it's completely silent and doesn't affect travel at all.
Service: The welcome and escort were very comprehensive. One suggestion would be to turn on the air conditioning before check-in; it's a bit humid by the coast, and the room was quite damp when we first entered."

"It's quite annoying to pay a high premium during holidays, but thankfully, the owner proactively upgraded our room type, and the sea view soothed that displeasure. The lobby is on the hotel's top floor, with all guest rooms located below. This guesthouse boasts a uniquely advantageous location, facing the Crowne Plaza across the sea, both overlooking the central fishing harbor. The price difference really comes down to the renovation costs and the guest experience gap between a five-star hotel and a guesthouse; those who've stayed will understand. The common areas of the guesthouse are a bit run-down and hot. The best way to enjoy it is to stay in your room, gaze at the sea view, relax, and enjoy the air conditioning. The screen-mirroring TV offers hundreds of channels, so there's no need to worry about boredom. The bay view is mesmerizing and calming. It would be even better if the windows were cleaner and the housekeeping staff were a bit quieter, haha."

There are plenty of restaurants directly across the street, and a food street right next to the hotel, all within easy walking distance. Upon arrival, we were even given a complimentary room upgrade. GGuest UserThe inn's small courtyard is full of Manxin, the boss is very young and self-cultivation, people feel very comfortable, the service is really good. The children lost trouble to the boss, the boss enthusiastically helped find it, and helped us send it back. We sent us to the pier for free and helped us find the driver to Ningbo Station. Because we couldn't bear to change to another place, Zhoushan has been living here for a few days. Thank you boss, thank you aunt! See you next time 👋

GGuest UserThe restaurant has a 180° sea view and a sea-to-sky swimming pool, which is very impressive. The boss gave us a cappuccino for a simple breakfast. The boss was very nice. Three children and four adults were accommodated during the family trip without feeling crowded. There were children's tents and parent-child sofas. The pick-up and drop-off service was very convenient, which improved the efficiency of the entire trip. The pick-up driver was very helpful We made an appointment to watch the sunrise at the uninhabited village and Dongya cliff. The cost was very reasonable and the scenery was beautiful. A very recommended hotel, you can enjoy star service in a small rural fishing village.

CCheungAmandaWe love everything about Healray Collection. Our flight arrived late, and took a late ferry over to the Island. Luckily they had shuttle service from and to Ferry, which made it so much easier than calling a car service. When we arrived, they assisted us unloading the luggage. Our room got excellent view and could see the Guan Yin statue from our room. I'm OCD, so cleanliness is very important to me and I approved. We booked two nights, sadly we were only able to stay one night due to a Gale warning. The hotel had such a great customer service, when we were sightseeing, they gave us a call to inform us that they received a Gale warning and that the ferry will not operate the next day. They gave us an option to stay or refund us the one night if we wished to checkout to catch the ferry. They were very helpful and resourceful in that respect. The manager Zhou Min reached out to our online booking to verify our refund. We were very pleased and amazed with their extraordinary service. I personally would definitely refer and book with them again. I care about service and they have one of the best service I've had experienced.

Someone from the hotel will take you to the pier, and the staff will also help upgrade the room type! There is also a small restaurant downstairs, and the hairtail fish is fresh and delicious!

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
Overall: highly recommended!

MMike the digital nomadI had the pleasure of staying at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel in Zhoushan, and it was an unforgettable experience. This beachfront gem offers direct access to the beach, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a relaxing seaside getaway.
The hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. Being steps away from the beach allowed me to enjoy picturesque views of the ocean and soothing sounds of the waves throughout my stay. The serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
A side note, this hotel is connected to the Westin and guest could stroll through the grounds.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with warm hospitality. They were attentive to my needs and provided helpful information about the hotel's services and nearby attractions.
The room was tastefully decorated and well-appointed with modern amenities. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-designed bathroom. The room's balcony provided a lovely spot to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning sunsets.
The hotel's dining options were diverse and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood dishes served at the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different palates.
The Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel's on-site facilities were also impressive. The swimming pool was well-maintained, and the spa provided a delightful way to relax after a day at the beach.
As mentioned earlier, the hotel's connection to the Westin added an extra layer of convenience. Guests could access additional amenities such as fitness centers, upscale dining venues, and more, creating a seamless blend of relaxation and indulgence.
Overall, my stay at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel was exceptional. The location has numerous spots for having meals. There were a lot of restaurants all mostly catering seafood dishes. Which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beachfront escape in Zhoushan.

The rooms are very clean and tidy, and the owner is very kind, offering to pick up and drop off luggage at the pier. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again next year if I go there again.

GGuest UserService was good, from the helpful shuttle bus drivers to the prompt service of the technician-we had difficulty turning on the TV initially. However, we were confused about the shuttle bus stops stated by the hotel as there are designated hotel shuttle bus stops which are different from the different temples stops where only the public buses can go.
The breakfast spread was not big but adequate. The hotel room was comfortable although not big. I like the Zen design. The windows were open when we entered the hotel room, hence there were two flies in the room. We turned on the electric mosquito repellent. Luckily, they did not disturb us. The attendants should not open the windows when doing room cleaning lest insects go into the room. The island has many trees so there are insects-mosquitoes, flies etc around.
The room walls are thin though. I could hear the neighbouring rooms talking along the corridor and the room attendant coming by to their rescue saying he is the room attendant.
The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the sea, good for an evening walk.
Overall, the quality is good and the hotel room was comfortable. Definitely a hotel I could return to.
