Yuxi Yuyuan Hotel Reviews

Very fair price/quality. The hotel is run by a young mother of two very young adorable children, who was attentious to everything I needed :) There are a couple of decent restaurants where I was also very happily treated just by the hotel. It is very close to the train station. Yuxi also surprised me for its greenery and beauty 🙌 I would return and can confidently recommend to anyone :)

The family hotel is ran by some very nice people. We found them to be very helpful. The check-in process was quick. We are a Chinese and Canadian couple, so we must register with the local police authorities. The owners of this hotel followed the rules and made it easy for everyone. The hotel itself is very clean. Nice big fluffy towels! The location is just off the retail section of Yuxi in an industrial section, so walking to the train station is easy, and getting downtown on foot is easy too.

This hotel had some great reviews and everything was fine apart from a bit of a smell in the bathroom.

Good value hotel, but be prepared to Chinese-style toilet!

Good location of 2 mins walk to bus stop & mini market, bus to Yuxi Train station is 5mins and cost US$0.15. Bus rides to famous scenic locations and Historic Old street of hotspot cafes, noodle shops are only 5-15 mins away. Hotel is managed by a young couple who are very hospitable and helpful, very welcoming of foreign travellers. Hotel room is comfortable with good mattress, clean and warm duvet for this 12c Yunnan weather, bath towel and shampoo, good wifi signal, hot water shower, water boiler for coffee. As Solo female backpacker who felt very safe in this hotel stay, I highly recommend this listing!

The room was very cost-effective. The host taught me how to travel and helped call online taxis. The service attitude was great.
