Good guesthouse close to the gorge. For Western like we difficult to comnunicate. No english menu at the restaurant but with a little bit help from Chinese tourist we had a great meal. The room was o.k. only the badroom need some maintenance. Drains are not working so you always get wet feets There is a small shop where they arrange our transport to Shangri-la.

If you are reading this, straightaway make your booking. You will not regret it because this is the best accommodation in TLG. 1. Superb location. Near the entrance to go down to the gorge. Dont forget to try climbing the vertical ladder. 2. The host is really kind n helpful. He will assist you on everything and u will feel at home away from home. 3. Very clean and spacious room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. We have a very deep sleep to rest our body after hiking for that day.

The staff were very helpful. The restaurant service and food were excellent. The bedroom was magnificent with an outstanding view (never seen anything like it). The beds were spacious, wide, soft, and warm. The location was perfect. Although the bathroom was clean and spacious, there was no hot water after 9pm and the shower drain would overflow.

Lovely room with AMAZING view! The food was excellent and had lots of vegetarian options. The owner was very kind and drove us to the start of the lower gorge trail, climbed up the sky ladder on the way back which was right by the inn. We had a great stay

We enjoyed our stay at Teacher Zhang’s Inn. The room was clean and had all the necessary supplies. The owners of the place are nice and friendly family. There’s a rooftop observation area where you can enjoy the magnificent view and had a drink. If you’re planning to visit the tiger leaping gorge this place is recommended.

Disadvantages: The hair dryer costs a few dollars. It hurts a lot when it gets caught in the hair dryer and breaks a lot of hair. The toilet is very old. You can choose between boiling water and cold water for bathing. It is impossible to adjust to warm water. Haha, the shower head above It is also broken, the toilet seat is also broken, there is zero privacy, and the curtain costs a few yuan. If it costs more than 100 or 200 a night, I can completely accept these shortcomings, but I spent more than 300 or 400. Is this the inn? The advantages are also obvious. The scenery outside the window is good, the space is large enough, and it is convenient for walking. If you can accept it, just stay here.

It is the only way to hike to Zhonghu Leaping Gorge. The location is very good. Most buses back to Lijiang or Shangri-La depart from here. The room was much better than I expected, and the hot water for bathing was very comfortable. After all, in a mountainous area, I was grateful to have such facilities. If you want to eat, you can go to the inn's canteen, which tastes pretty good.

The cheapest inn in this trip, but it is clean and comfortable. It is more comfortable than the B&Bs that are two or three times more expensive in Dali and Lijiang in this trip. The store also specially prepared a footbath and medicinal bath. Taking a dip before going to bed is very refreshing. . 

I rested here for a day of hiking, and it was just right to go down to Tiger Leaping Gorge early the next morning. I upgraded the room type that day. We arrived at the inn after a day's hike on the high road. The service staff was very enthusiastic. I ordered yak meat and amaranth, which tasted good. We stayed in a standard room and there was a small garden at the door. The words "birds singing and the fragrance of flowers" couldn't be better described. It is very convenient to play Tiger Leaping, and the 168 ladder is also very enjoyable.

Come to Tiger Leaping Gorge for hiking. It’s convenient and you can book it with Teacher Zhang. The food is delicious, but parking downstairs is not easy. It takes a few minutes to walk and is not suitable for self-driving. The room is quite spacious and generally hygienic. The main reason is that the soft decoration and bathroom hygiene are a bit poor. Fortunately, the bedding is relatively clean and I can sleep comfortably. Prices within 300 will be more suitable. The food was pretty good. It’s uncomfortable when the wifi connection in the room is not available.

The location of the inn is very good. Next to it is the path to Zhang Laoshi's inn, which leads to Zhonghutiao Gorge. The inn only provides steamed buns, white porridge, rice noodles, side dishes and eggs for breakfast, which is average in price. But lunch and dinner taste very good!
