"My parents and I came for a trip, aiming to truly soak in the ambiance of the ancient town, so we booked a guesthouse in Wuzhen, specifically a riverside room. Wanting to stay close to my parents, the 'blind' room allocation turned out to be a pleasant surprise: I got a riverside single room on the second floor of Guesthouse No. 18, and my parents were right next door on the first floor of Guesthouse No. 19. From my window, the river flowed clear, and traditional sculling boats gently swayed as they passed. I'd occasionally watch tourists across the river capturing moments. The Jiangnan charm was absolutely captivating! The guesthouse host was very friendly and helped us with our luggage. A special shout-out goes to Wuzhen's luggage transfer service; they transported our bags via the waterways, and our suitcases were handled with exceptional care. Staying in Wuzhen, we relished the tranquility after the evening visitors had left and the refreshing peace before 9 AM. We also got a close-up look at the local morning tea culture, visited Wuzhen's morning market, and then returned to enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by the guesthouse right by the water – it was absolutely delightful! We also took a sculling boat ride both in the evening and in the morning. The price was very reasonable, and each ride lasted about 25 leisurely minutes – absolutely worth it! It had been ten years since my last visit, and the changes over this decade truly impressed and delighted me. I'm already looking forward to my third trip to Wuzhen!"

"The manager Xiao Zhang is a very knowledgeable and friendly lady. She is very thoughtful to give us recommendation on our schedule to enjoy Wuzhen. When to avoid crowd, when to come back to the room to rest, etc. She was very helpful and strong. She took initiative to carry 20+kg luggage (we travelled for more than a week + shopping) up 2 flights of steps without issue and without us asking for help. She remembers all the guests’ details. Always checking on everyone to make sure all of us enjoy Wuzhen. Omotenashi 👍👍 this homestay has very beautiful and relaxing tea rooms to enjoy tea set. Their breakfast is yummy, filling and beautiful. Rooms are spacious with zen deco. I love the tatami beds. Location is just at the doorstep of Xi gate side entrance. Convenient stores and eateries right outside the homestay. I highly recommend all readers to stay here for 1-2 nights. I definitely will stay here again. Lastly, to my hotelier friends, go and recruit Xiao Zhang. She is a gem. She will take of your guests as they are hers."

"The entire park is under unified management, and check-in procedures are centralized at the entrance, which is better than living in Pujin outside the scenic area. If you can’t walk anymore, call a tour bus at any time. The location of the inn is very good. It is quiet in the middle of the city and only a two- to three-minute walk from important attractions. There is a FamilyMart nearby, and shopping is also very convenient. Currently, there are still many facilities that are not fully equipped and there are not many dining options. Having a FamilyMart will be much more convenient. The room is large and clean. The service of the guy at the front desk is very good. If you have big luggage, you can only ask the front desk to help carry it upstairs. Breakfast is shared by several inns, and it is very busy during holidays. When it gets colder and I can see the ginkgo trees, I will still stay at this inn, it’s good."

"Absolutely fantastic! We stayed in a waterfront room, which was a truly special experience. My mother was carsick upon arrival, and the hotel even provided mung bean sweet soup and snow fungus soup for her in the evening. I highly recommend staying within the scenic area; the night views are absolutely stunning. The hotel was impeccably clean, and Xiao Dang, the staff member who assisted us, was incredibly warm and helpful. She came out early to meet us, helped with our luggage, introduced us to the attractions, suggesting routes and a recommended order of visit, and consistently checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Traveling with elderly parents and children, and with the hot weather, Xiao Dang thoughtfully advised me on the pros and cons of the hotel's breakfast versus trying local morning tea spots. In the end, we opted for the buffet breakfast at the hotel, and I also went to a morning tea spot to buy some specialty snacks to bring back and eat. Overall, it was a perfect experience and a perfect trip to Wuzhen. If I visit Wuzhen again, I would definitely choose to stay at Tong'an Inn."

"I would like to give a super big thumbs up for the service and environment here! The staffs are super helpful and friendly which make me feel super comfortable and satisfied with the stay! They provide a recommended lists of places and restaurants to go upon our arrivals at hotel. They even gave us local product as souvenir before we leave. Warm-hearted and precious service 🤍 I would do if I could give them 10 stars rates! SUPER DUPER RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE!"

"The scenery in Puyuan is beautiful. Although some places are not open, the overall feeling is very Jiangnan. There are not many people, so it is suitable for relaxing. When visiting Shufang Zen Monastery, be sure to make a reservation 1-2 days in advance. It is worth it. The housekeeper Yuanyuan was attentive and contacted us in advance. She picked us up at the parking lot early and sent us to the inn. She patiently answered all our questions. The location of Shilang Hotel is very good. The night view at the entrance is beautiful. It is very close to tourist stations, major attractions, and several performance venues. The health and facilities are very good. Yi I hope Puyuan will get better and better, and I will go there again in the future."

"My room was on the ground floor; the window directly faced a wall when the curtains were open, with only a small window looking out onto a shared patio. This room type wasn't entirely as depicted in the booking photos. Overall, it was decent. The positives include a convenient central location for easy access, L'Occitane toiletries (a nice touch, typical of a boutique hotel), and both the room and bathroom were quite spacious. The set-menu breakfast was also quite refined. As for drawbacks, the small window offered poor ventilation, the bed was immediately visible upon entering the room, and there were quite a few mosquitoes on the ground floor. Overall, it offers good value for money compared to similarly priced rooms within Wuzhen."

"Our entire stay, from check-in to check-out, was absolutely wonderful! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and consistently went out of their way to help, from opening doors to carrying luggage. We arrived a bit early, and they immediately offered to store our bags. When our room became available, they promptly called us to let us know – truly exceptional service and thoughtfulness! 👍👍👍 The hotel itself was clean, spacious, and equipped with modern facilities. Our room had no hint of dampness or unpleasant odors. Its location in Nanzha was excellent and very easy to find. While Xizha is a short distance away, the hotel provides a shuttle service directly to the Xizha Scenic Area, a quick 5-minute ride. You can easily book this at the front desk, which is super convenient. What's more, unlike other hotels outside the scenic area, staying at Nanzha Inn allows for unlimited entry and exit to the attraction, and even early access to Xizha before its official opening hours. This offers fantastic value for money! Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay! 😁"

"Just checked out today and I'm so grateful for the friendly and caring staff. We stayed in a two-bedroom family room, which was spotlessly clean and had a small courtyard with a beautiful view. Waking up to the birdsong in the morning felt like being back in nature, and life seemed to slow down. It's also very close to Wuzhen. During the holiday, it was too crowded and hard to get a ride back home, so the owner drove to pick us up. What a thoughtful gesture! Highly recommended!!!"
