This hotel, built on the former site of Yida Silk Factory, is a sight to behold in itself. Tucked away in the heart of the town, it offers a serene and beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. With the help of our lovely butler, check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth. Following video instructions, we arrived at the Wuzhen parking garage where our butler was already waiting for us, instantly easing any apprehension about visiting a new place for the first time. After entering the scenic area, we took a boat through the entirety of Wuzhen to reach the hotel, truly experiencing the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town from the water. The hotel's butler service truly lives up to its name; unlike many hotels with WeChat concierges who are often slow to respond, every request here was met with an immediate and efficient reply, which was incredibly warm and thoughtful. All in all, I highly recommend Yida as a five-star hotel in Wuzhen. It was definitely the highlight of our perfect trip to Wuzhen! My only regret is not asking for the name of our young, enthusiastic, and very helpful butler. I wish her all the best!

Wuzhen was the highlight of our summer trip, as I wanted my children to experience the charm of a Jiangnan water town. Wuzhen did not disappoint. The scenic area is well-managed, the water is clear and green with schools of fish, and black swans glide gracefully. Despite the scorching summer heat, there was no unpleasant odor and, surprisingly, no mosquitoes. That truly amazed me. Our stay at Jintang was flawless, apart from the price. The room was spacious, the bedding was completely dry, and all facilities were well-maintained. The infinity pool had excellent water quality, and the lifeguards were very responsible and polite. The sound bath experience was fantastic; an hour felt better than a full night's sleep 👍. I especially want to thank Butler Xiao Fan. Despite the heat, he met us at the entrance and, when we left, he pushed our luggage cart all the way to our taxi. He was always responsive to all our questions. A big thank you to him! I hope the handsome young man is happy every day 😊. One more thing left a lasting impression: my child needed to attend an online class, and the butler helped us arrange a meeting room. During the class, another staff member arrived with a laptop for a meeting. Upon entering and seeing the children studying, he quietly exited. We told him he could use another room, but this unnamed gentleman said that the children's studies were more important and that he would find another room for his meeting. Furthermore, the rich collection of books and free reading spaces at Wuzhen Zhaoming Academy deeply reflect the town's emphasis on culture and education, and everyone's humble demeanor 👏👏👏.

I’ve never written a review after a trip before, but this time I’ve decided to seriously review every hotel I've stayed in. This is to give future guests more reliable information, as choosing hotels was the most time-consuming and effort-intensive part of planning this trip. Guest reviews were crucial for my decision-making, so I hope to help others in the same way. This was by far the most satisfying hotel of my entire trip, exceeding my expectations and definitely worth the money. Before arrival, a butler contacted me to ask for my arrival time and waited for me in the parking lot. They guided me into the scenic area and even provided a boat service to the hotel, allowing me to enjoy the scenery along the way – a wonderful start to my stay. The hotel lobby was incredibly stylish, truly giving off the vibe of entering a grand, opulent estate. The views were also fantastic, and the service was beyond words. Check-in was handled entirely by the butler, while I simply relaxed and enjoyed some tea. Breakfast was a la carte, unlimited, with a wide variety of choices, and the quality was excellent; everything was exquisitely prepared with good ingredients. The room design was very thoughtful and considerate, and they even prepared foot bath water for me. The butler was always available to arrange anything I needed. The Dan Cha Fan restaurant directly opposite the hotel was also very good. With views right from the window, enjoying a meal there was a truly great experience. If you’re not concerned about budget and prioritize quality, you should definitely choose this hotel. Its location is also very convenient. All in all, this isn't just one of the best hotels from this trip, but one of the few truly satisfying hotels I’ve stayed in across many travels.

Service: The hotel's service is truly five-star. We were greeted by a staff member named Qingguo, who patiently escorted us from the parking lot back to the hotel and then thoroughly explained various touring strategies for Wuzhen. Environment: The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the hotel's gardens and pavilions are perfect for photos, so you don't have to go out and deal with crowds. Dining: For breakfast, the hotel offers two dining options, and we chose the one at 'Siyi'. The breakfast here is quite exquisite, what we'd call 'pretty food.' The interior environment is also very photogenic, so you can easily snap some pictures after your meal.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of options. Some of the chefs also spoke English, which was a plus. It would be even better if the menu for dishes and drinks included English translations. The hotel's proximity to the high-speed rail station made getting around incredibly convenient.

It's also conveniently close to prominent attractions like the permanent site of the World Internet Conference and the Internet Light Exhibition Center. For visitors planning to explore Xizha Scenic Area, this spot is incredibly convenient, saving a significant amount of time and effort. **Pleasant Ambiance** * The guesthouse maintains a consistently clean and tidy environment. Its interior design features a 'light luxury' style, offering a blend of simplicity and elegance. * The rooms are exquisitely decorated, particularly the themed rooms, where unique ornaments, bedside lamps, and feature walls are thoughtfully chosen to create a warm and cozy atmosphere. **Excellent Facilities** * Room amenities are brand new and include 24-hour air conditioning, hot water, smart TVs, and private Wi-Fi, catering to all guest needs. * A wide variety of room types are available, such as King, Twin, Family, and special King-size rooms. Some even come equipped with trendy electric chairs, ensuring there's an option for every group's preference. **Attentive Service** * The owner and staff provide warm and exceptionally thoughtful service, offering 24-hour hassle-free butler assistance. They also extend pick-up and drop-off services within the Wuzhen area, including transfers to/from the station, making guests feel truly valued. * They are also very caring towards children, providing kid-friendly facilities and entertainment options, which significantly eases travel for families with little ones. **Outstanding Dining** * The guesthouse has a restaurant on its ground floor, serving authentic and delicious local Wuzhen specialty dishes at very reasonable prices. * The surrounding area offers an extensive array of dining options, including numerous breakfast spots, bars, cafes, snack shops, and trendy 'Instagrammable' restaurants.

The Shuixiang Youth Hostel was under maintenance, so we received a complimentary upgrade to a Balcony King Room at Zhenshui Resort Hotel. The hotel facilities seemed a bit dated, and the walls had some noticeable stains. The bathroom was also on the smaller side. However, our overall stay was very pleasant, and these minor points didn't significantly impact our experience. Given its location within the scenic area, this hotel is genuinely affordable and offers excellent value for money. Both the check-in and luggage transfer services were convenient and prompt. Breakfast could be swapped for Zaochake (from 7:30 to 9:30 AM). While the food itself was quite ordinary, it was a unique experience as you could watch a performance. We're very grateful for the free upgrade, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view from our balcony. Highly recommended.

The owner is an ex-serviceman who arranged everything for us, from food to accommodation and transportation, perfectly from the moment we arrived in Wuzhen. He even organized our transfers from Suzhou to Wuzhen and from Wuzhen to Hangzhou, which were cheaper than taking a taxi ourselves. He made sure to arrange a very comfortable car because we had elderly people with us. When you're in Wuzhen, just ask the owner about places to eat and getting around, and you'll be all set. His own restaurant serves delicious, freshly made dishes – no pre-cooked meals. He even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I will definitely recommend this guesthouse to my friends; the owner's service is absolutely top-notch! 👍👍👍

Facilities: The room is very good, very suitable for couples to take photos, and the view of the small bridge opposite is great! Hygiene: The room hygiene is very good, nothing to fault Service: The boss picked us up from Xizha in the evening and helped us pick up our luggage at noon and deliver our luggage the next day. He was really considerate! The service is very attentive!

I finally got to experience the Alila Wuzhen, which I'd been dreaming of, and the entire stay was absolutely perfect – it's my top choice for a Wuzhen getaway! The hotel itself is a beautiful waterside architectural masterpiece, with minimalist white walls blending seamlessly with the waterways, recreating a modern Jiangnan village. It feels like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The winding paths and water lanes within the property offer changing views at every turn. The lighting is soft and gentle during the day, and at night, the lights reflect beautifully on the water. Every photo you take looks stunning, and the serene ambiance is just incredible. It's wonderfully removed from the hustle and bustle of the ancient town, offering superb privacy, making it perfect for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat. Check-in was efficient and smooth. The front desk staff were warm and polite, offering a welcome tea and patiently explaining the resort layout. Our Water House room was incredibly spacious with an open layout, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows brought the wetland scenery right into the room. The room was spotlessly clean, with a subtle and soothing aroma. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was expansive, with custom toiletries that had a sophisticated scent. The bathtub by the window allowed us to enjoy the garden view while soaking, which was a fantastic experience. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, combining local flavors with exquisite Western dishes, and the ingredients were fresh. Strolling through the resort, you can visit the infinity pool and the tea house in the middle of the water. During your leisure time, you can walk around and birdwatch, experiencing the unique tranquility of a water town. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service; they would always greet us proactively on the paths and responded promptly to all our requests. Compared to the lively guesthouses in Xizha, this place offers a more secluded and relaxed vibe. The architectural aesthetics, hardware quality, and attentive service complement each other perfectly, making it suitable for both couples' getaways and short, tranquil retreats. This stay far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose Alila again on my next visit to Wuzhen.
