"The hotel all in all service is great the receptionist is good enough to ask us how are we. The location is also nice you will be able to see the view of the bridge from afar and the cylinder tower nearby. The hotel location is also at the heart of Georgetown which makes it easier to walk around the famous spots such as Kimberly night market and Armenian Street; few minutes walk and you'll be able to buy night market street food too! We tried as well the pool which is nice because it's not crowded. The food in the dining of the hotel is also good got variety of foods you can eat!"

"We went on a 3 days 2 nights business trip with family in Penang. This hotel is located at Gurney bay which is such a very good location. We personally familiar with the surrounding there so it is easy to find food and travel. The parking building can be accessed both from Gurney bay and Kelawai road which is very convenient. Free parking is available in the building. The parking space in front of the hotel charges 10 RM per entry. We got a connecting room which is so comfortable for us. The hotel staff were very nice also. Pros: The room is fully equipped with universal power outlets. Cons: The shower is located in bathtub. It is quite slippery and inconvenient. Overall, We had a very pleasant stay."

"We decided to stay at this very unique hotel based on all the great reviews. And we were not disappointed. This hotel is central to so many gorgeous attractions. And even though we had originally wanted to rent one of the many city bicycles available from stations in and around Georgetown, we decided to walk instead, because the heavy traffic and construction worried us. There's just so much to see and do that we became easily overwhelmed. Again, The Loop on Leith is an excellent location that walking around and seeing the sights ends up working out very well, especially when you're avid photographers like we are. I loved the modern decor of our room with its hip and trendy vibes. A rather small room but still very functional. The bathroom is excellent with hot water and very good shower pressure. And our included breakfast buffet was delicious, although I wish there had been a little more variety. And the cooks and staff were very professional and very attentive, always making sure the buffet counter was replenished. Much of the time the breakfast buffet was quite busy. After all, this is a very busy hotel and for good reason. But still, we would easily return here to stay for a few nights. We also enjoyed the Netflix in our room and the beds were very comfortable. Excellent mini fridge and even a little sofa. And we even had a fantastic view of the city. But sometimes it can get noisy, mostly from activity from other guests. Thankfully, I always travel with ear plugs. An incredible little hotel, surrounded by so many top-notch gourmet restaurants too. The hotel has gorgeous decor and awesome personality. This is the place to stay in the heart of Georgetown."

"Hotel location very convenient. Walking distance to Cecil market, Kimberly street, chulia street. It will be good if the in-house TV is smart TV so that we can enjoy watching you tube or Netflix program Hotel provide drinks and popcorn snacks at the lobby Grab car and grab food delivery also easy"

"Arrived at 1 pm and was given checkin by friendly and competent staff. During our 1-day stay, it was raining heavily and the hotel location was linked to 3 shopping amenities such as First Avenue, Komtar and Prangin Mall."

"The room is quite small, but it offers a lovely view. It's very clean, although we didn’t have enough space to store all our shopping bags. :) Mr Putasnen Nagadaran was exceptionally helpful and proactive. He made sure my early check-in request was fulfilled with a clean room ready upon arrival, and he even greeted me by name when he saw me in the corridor while he was checking other rooms. He took the time to respond to my email sent late at night—while I was out during the day—with detailed information about nearby parking options in case the hotel’s lot was full. We’ll be returning because of Mr Putasnen’s outstanding service, not because of the hotel itself. Mr Putasnen - Please take care of yourself and don't overwork :)"

"Room was small but clean, cozy and comfortable. The only thing to note is that the room isn’t very soundproof — we could hear people passing by the corridor and doors closing loudly at midnight many times. Parking was challenging. Great location to nearby attractions and shops. Overall great 👍🏻"

"We had a pleasant stay at OZO Hotel Penang. The breakfast spread was delicious with plenty of variety, and the location is very convenient — close to many attractions and eateries. The service was warm and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. One small downside: the TV kept hanging and the Wi-Fi could be stronger. Hopefully, this can be improved for future guests. Overall, a good stay and we’d be happy to return!"

"This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bar is now open! Besides special cocktails , they serve skewers as well.sometimes when i don’t feel like going out ,i can just head up to the bar on the 9th floor to relax."

"It is more budget friendly hotel for families. It's basic, but adequate. Reception is too big and void of furniture and decor. I was given a corner room with door opening to the side away from corridor, though it made room smaller, but it was good as it prevented light spill underneath the door, and noise from noisey neighbors. Only partial view of the sea, as very high rise condos infront of hotels took all the prime estate. The shower is too near the glass panels and hot water doesn't work the maintenance guy have to come on 2 days to get it right. I hate the cold shower. The AC is cold, newly renovated, but noisey. TV channel is not the best, get to watch very old movies, like 60s. Breakfast is Buffett style, not the 5 star hotel type, but still a good spread. Didn't use the pool but it's fun for families. Getting to the beach is thru lifts on the 7th floor, which brings you down to 1st floor to beach, but access is only from 8am to 8 pm. Signage is no good. Wouldn't stay here again, though cheaper, but too basic, it's a watered down Holiday inn."
