"It was a pleasant stay and everything was satisfactory. It's very suitable for a family of 4 members. All necessary utensils are available, including a hairdryer and ironing facility. Both the hall and the master bedroom have air-conditioning. Nevertheless, there are 3 nagging issues for the price of RM140 per night stay. They are 1. There is no daily housekeeping, and we have to clean it ourselves. 2. There is no suitable place to throw rubbish, and we have to bring it down 30 floors to dispose of it. 3. The security guard forgets our parking lot and needs a reminder every day."

"The location is good, close to many attractions. There is a stall selling durian and coconuts about 10-15 minutes away, where you can sit down and eat. The whole house is for our use. The owner does not live there, and there was no one there when we arrived. We had to contact the owner to get the password to get the key. This is recommended to be communicated in advance. The house has many beds, a washing machine, kitchen utensils, etc. However, the house is quite old, and the wall paint is peeling in some places. There are no exhaust fans in several bathrooms, which are relatively humid and moldy. Among the rooms on the second floor, the rooms near the front door have poor sound insulation. The cars passing by downstairs and the conversations of passers-by can be heard clearly. The rooms near the back door are relatively quiet."

"I want to be back! 🏅Reception staff - offered welcome drinks (cold grape juice) upon arrival. It was only past 10am but they allowed us early check-in! Called us after a few hours to ask if everything is alright with the room, or if we need anything...very proactive approach. The next day I called them to request some things we needed and they arranged it fast, with the help of Housekeeping. They were also very helpful with recommendations on where to eat breakfast. And yes, this hotel offer FREE shuttle service at popular breakfast hangouts. Just book your slot and timing with them. Housekeeping - Sattar was assigned to our room and I have no complaints. I'm happy how he made our room fresh, replenished, and clean everyday. I made small requests if I can get some more of this and that, and he obliged very willingly! Shuttle Driver - leaves on the dot. We always booked the 8:30am trip. This is a FREE service and there are 7 (I think) breakfast stops you can choose from. I love this service as it gives you plenty of options on what to eat, and Penang is truly a foodie destination. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, I think that's why they have this service instead. Location - no regrets! It's very central to everything. We did mostly walking tour to explore Georgetown and this hotel is close to many popular spots and streets. If you're tired of being outdoors, there's a new mall nearby, 1st Avenue, and some other older ones like Gama, Prangin Mall, and of course, TOP Komtar. Room - very spacious for 2 persons! Everything we needed was provided. We really had a comfortable stay ❤️. Pool - It has an acrylic bottom swimming pool with sweeping views of Georgetown. How cool is that! Gorgeous views from here! Thank you to all hotel staff! It's not just the hotel itself, but your warm service is truly appreciated. Would love to come back again!"

"citadines georgetown was wonderful, my partner and i enjoyed our stay there for sure. it was near your usual tourist areas like armenian street etc and had lots of food/massage parlour nearby. checking in & out was smooth and they even managed to assist with my request of decorating the room for our anniversary (do note that a small fee is required). will definitely come back again when we're back in penang."
