"Quite satisfied for the price. Overall good, quite comfortable. Parking provided is very limited. Though if full can park at roadside yellow box. Friendly staff and security. Shower room a bit small. Water spray beside toilet bowl dripping a few drops of water and I'm annoyed by it so I just put it on floor. Aircond not very strong and cold but its suffice and I'm ok with it.Just takes longer time to cold thats it. Probably only my particular room. Early morning can hear prayer nearby but its acceptable for me. Theres Netflix on the TV so you probably can login and watch. Breakfast is quite nice just fewer options. Different variant each day. Will stay here again when I'm visiting Penang again! :D"

"My wife and I stayed 4 nights here recently. Highlights: - Prime location in the heart of Georgetown—walking distance to shopping malls, eateries, and key attractions. - Reliable high-speed internet, ideal for both work and leisure. - Complimentary parking with a convenient license plate recognition system. - Warm, courteous staff who go the extra mile to assist. - Breakfast spread was impressive—varied, fresh, and satisfying. On the negative side: - Room size is quite small, which may not suit guests seeking spacious accommodation. - Unusual housekeeping policy: rooms are only cleaned once every two days, which may not meet expectations for daily upkeep. Overall Verdict: While the location and amenities are commendable, the limited room space and infrequent cleaning schedule detract from the overall experience. For the price point, it falls short of delivering full value for money."

"The room is quite small, but it offers a lovely view. It's very clean, although we didn’t have enough space to store all our shopping bags. :) Mr Putasnen Nagadaran was exceptionally helpful and proactive. He made sure my early check-in request was fulfilled with a clean room ready upon arrival, and he even greeted me by name when he saw me in the corridor while he was checking other rooms. He took the time to respond to my email sent late at night—while I was out during the day—with detailed information about nearby parking options in case the hotel’s lot was full. We’ll be returning because of Mr Putasnen’s outstanding service, not because of the hotel itself. Mr Putasnen - Please take care of yourself and don't overwork :)"

"Helpful staff and good location. Suggest to travel by Grab for places of interest within Georgetown to avoid hassle of parking. Walls a little thin and could faintly hear noises from outside, else everything is good."

"We booked two rooms and had an outstanding experience at this hotel. Although both rooms were the same type (21m²), Room 1615 felt more spacious than Room 1609. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the night street food market on Lebuh Presgrave, 12 minutes to Cecil Market, and 8 minutes to the 24-hour McDonald's at Birch House. There’s also a hidden bar, Good Friend Club, less than 100 meters from the hotel entrance, and another one, Magazine 63, about 10 minutes away, across from 1st Avenue Mall. Just 2 minutes away is GAMA Supermarket, which includes a small pharmacy and bakery—very convenient for anything you need. 5 min away from Komtar also. Opposite hotel is the Hin Bus Depot. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well. However, the bathroom exhaust fan was quite loud (though manageable if turned off after use), and the room lighting was a bit dim—adding a floor or table lamp would be helpful. The water heater took about 3 minutes to produce hot water, which could be improved to reduce water waste. Soundproofing wasn’t the best, as I could hear the neighboring shower, but it wasn’t a major issue for me. The hotel has a gym and swimming pool @ roof top level-25, though we didn’t have time to use them. The facilities well-maintained. Overall, we had a great stay. The staff and security were friendly and welcoming. Keep up the great work and continue maintaining the cleanliness and service standards! This hotel tends to get fully booked quickly. If you want to book this Hotel, please plan and book early Will stay again when I go Penang next time."

"A Relaxing Stay – Highly Recommend! Loved this hotel! The room was clean, modern, and had a super comfortable bed. Great location—close to cafes and public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had good options, and the Wi-Fi was fast. Only minor issue was some noise from the hallway, but it didn’t ruin my stay. Would definitely book again!"

"Excellent Stay with a Great Location I had a fantastic experience at Jen Penang Georgetown Hotel. The room was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with an armchair and king bed. I particularly appreciated the automated bidet in the toilet. The hotel's location was ideal, close to TOP Komtar and First Avenue Mall, yet it still felt peaceful and private. What truly stood out was the concierge. He was very friendly and had attention to detail with regards to our luggage and taxi. I would highly recommend Jen Penang Georgetown to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. I can't wait to return!"

"We checked in at midnight, so the front office staff did a quick check-in for us so we could rest. The next day, when we returned to the hotel for a short break, we found that the air conditioning was leaking and the floor was wet. We called the front desk, but the technician took over 30 minutes but still yet to arrive to do a checking. Deciding to check for other available rooms, the staff apologized for the inconvenience and moved us to a different room. We were very satisfied with their service, and the new room was very clean. I'm proud to say this hotel is eco-friendly. Instead of providing bottled water, they have water dispensers on each floor for guests to fill up their own bottles, and the toiletries are also eco-friendly. Thumbs up!!!"
