One thoughtful touch that I appreciated was the complimentary gift of local sweets, which added a personal and delightful flavor to my experience. Free coffee all day long, which is a fantastic perk for those like me who enjoy a caffeine boost at any hour. The ambiance of the hotel is both modern and cozy, making it a perfect refuge after a busy day of sightseeing. We had a very pleasant stay at Zhejiang Hotel in Hangzhou. While the hotel may be slightly dated in style, it’s very well maintained and offers great comfort. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet, exactly what we needed after a day of exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight: extensive, varied, and tasty, with both Chinese and Western options available. A great way to start the day! The location is excellent, centrally situated and ideal as a base for day trips around Hangzhou, including visits to West Lake and nearby attractions. It’s easy to get around from here, whether by foot, taxi, or public transport. All in all, a reliable and comfortable hotel in a great location. We would gladly stay here again!

Location is truly chef’s kiss and very clean! Room was a little bit smoky but attendant managed to freshen it quickly! Really excellent view of the west lake 小周 ‘s service is really excellent!

The hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location. From Hangzhou East Railway Station, you can easily take Metro Line 1 to Fengqi Road Station (Exit B), and it's just a 20-meter walk to the hotel. With immediate access to both Metro Line 1 and Line 2, getting around the city is exceptionally easy. It's also very close to the West Lake Scenic Area. You can reach it by taking Metro Line 1 to Longxiang Road Station, or simply by turning right from the hotel and enjoying a pleasant 1.2 km walk along Hair'er Lane and Longyou Road to the famous Broken Bridge. Exploring other popular attractions such as Southern Song Imperial Street, Xiaohe Street, Xixi Wetland, and Songcheng (Song Dynasty City) is also incredibly convenient from this spot. As for the hotel itself, it's spotlessly clean, well-appointed with all necessary facilities, and offers attentive service. I highly recommend it!

The hotel boasts a superb location, just a ten-minute walk from West Lake and literally steps away from Longxiangqiao Metro Station. The facilities, having undergone recent renovations, are also very impressive. What truly stands out is the incredibly warm and friendly attitude of the staff; every single person you encounter offers a greeting. This is undoubtedly a hallmark of Japanese hospitality, truly embodying the 'guest first' philosophy! The revolving restaurant on the 20th floor offers stunning panoramic views of West Lake. Of course, the breakfast is excellent too, with a wide variety of dishes and unique flavors. I will certainly choose Friendly Hotel again if I have the opportunity in the future! The location of this hotel is excellent for reaching by air or train as it’s 300m from the metro connecting the airport and central station lines. The hotel is new and well equipped although I would like to see buttons translated to English for easier access. 500m to Qing he fang street with multiple gifts stores and authentic restaurants. The front desk is very helpful with my luggage and providing me with a universal adapter when I requested. Overall if you want to stay somewhere in the center, near West Lake and easy to reach, I’d recommend you this hotel

Booked 2 rooms for 4 days 3 nights in this hotel, one for my parents and another one for myself with my wife. This is our first time in Hangzhou and I don't regret staying here. The staffs and cleanliness is, in my view, top notch. The only thing I feel is lacking is the laundry area, the closing time is 2200hrs, which is a bit too early. Other than that, everything is good.

Facilities: The facilities matched the online description and met my expectations. All the bathroom fixtures, hardware, and appliances were of high quality, making them convenient and comfortable to use. Cleanliness: The room was meticulously cleaned; I didn't find any noticeable flaws or imperfections. Ambiance: While the room itself and public areas like the restaurant weren't exceptionally large, they were tastefully designed, quite clever, and practical. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. My double room faced residential buildings that were quite close, so the window view was practically non-existent. If a view is important to you, please take note of the room type when booking. Service: The service deserves a special mention! The hotel offers laundry and drying services, which was a huge help during the summer heat and saved my family the effort of washing clothes. In the evenings, they also delivered sweet soups (like red bean soup and white fungus soup) to our room. The quality was superb, and the flavors were authentic – tasting genuinely freshly prepared. I really loved this thoughtful touch and hope they continue it. Other services were attentive and thorough; all reasonable requests were promptly fulfilled, such as providing extra bottled water and luggage storage. Overall, I'm very satisfied and hope they maintain their excellent standards. Highly recommended!

The location is very convenient, with a subway station right outside the door. The front desk staff during check-in seemed quite young, possibly inexperienced, and their attitude was rather inflexible. When we inquired about a potential free upgrade or late check-out, they flatly refused, which was quite off-putting and unacceptable. Fortunately, a more senior staff member later assisted us, and their demeanor was much more helpful. The housekeeping staff, however, was very thoughtful; they proactively hung the clothes we were drying in the shower out by the window to sun-dry. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, but the vanity is integrated into the main room. While the water pressure is strong, it's also quite noisy, which can easily disturb sleeping family members if used late at night. The windows are not floor-to-ceiling, and the sills are quite high. Although listed as a 5-star hotel on Ctrip, it felt more like a 4-star, but its excellent value for money is a definite plus.
