"The room was really cute!
The room was clean and we changed into slippers at the hotel entrance.
The shower water pressure and temperature were great.
I had a very relaxing time at the hotel.
There was just one problem. There was a guest making noise in the middle of the night, and a staff member contacted me, probably thinking it was me. I was already in bed resting... I was very annoyed to receive such a call without even checking. It may be unavoidable since there doesn't seem to be any staff on site..."

I wanted to take a moment to commend the late shift staff on the 14th. They were extremely helpful and attentive, addressing all my queries with a friendly demeanor. Similarly, the young lady on the day shift was also very welcoming and supportive.
Initially, I was quite upset as I had to wait outside for someone to let me in. Given the intense heat and my struggle to drag my luggage from the train station, it was quite uncomfortable. I later learned that the receptionist had stepped away for a moment, which I understand. Despite the challenging conditions, the staff's positive attitude ultimately made my experience much more pleasant. Thank you for your assistance!"

"I booked this hotel because I was going to eat with my friends nearby. The room was very cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large, but the only drawback was that the air-conditioning was not cold enough. Because there was no screen, I didn't dare to open the window, and the room became very stuffy!"

"Close to the Guohua Street business district, the location is super good, the old house is rebuilt, the first floor is a coffee shop, the manager service is super excellent, feel the enthusiasm of the locals in Tainan, take the initiative to help us solve the problem, the homestay is very comfortable, very happy to live in such a quality homestay, I will choose to live here next time I come to Tainan."

"The instructions before the trip are very detailed and the accommodation location is very convenient; although the sound of passengers in the surrounding store may be heard at night (after all, it is the essence), the boss is very intimate and silently prepared earplugs to pick up, but in fact, it is not so serious so it is not needed. The whole old house is very clean and comfortable. I took my parents to live and let them recall their childhood; plus very pet friendly, and prepared our dog's bed, kettle, snacks, everything is great! If you can book it next time, you will visit ～."

"The hotel owner will make people feel at home, introduce the local customs one by one and recommend the pocket food list, understand the local activities information thoroughly, and provide interesting travel advice.
The room is nostalgic but clean and tidy. Many details can make people feel the mood of the passengers in the early years, such as simple wardrobes, tile bathtubs and table fans. The lighting is good and there is a new air-conditioning. The overall experience is comfortable and satisfactory.
The locomotive can be parked in the lobby on the first floor and has monitors to watch, and the car can be parked on the outer street."

"This place is great! There are so many restaurants, snacks, and bars nearby!! This one is quite large, but unfortunately it's too close to the street across the street, so the floor-length curtains can't be opened. Also, Xinmei Street is so narrow 😅😅😅 Whether entering from the beginning or exiting from the end (it's a one-way street, but there are still stupid motorcyclists going the wrong way, and cars parked on the side of the road!!!) it's so nerve-wracking that my boyfriend instantly got mad 😂😂"

"The hotel provided early luggage storage service and helped to store things with friends in advance, so that I could get the tickets to watch the game smoothly. It is suggested that customers can be provided with early check-in in the future. Checking in at 4 o'clock is too late, which would make me want to move to Prince Hotel which is closer to National Cheng Kung University!"

"The location is great, there are many small shops during the week! Parking is available in an underground parking lot nearby, but it is not far away. The room is large and clean. You need to change your indoor shoes downstairs to check in. It is very hygienic and the staff are very friendly."

Our room thoughtfully provided recommendations for both traditional local eateries and modern dining options in the vicinity. The hotel's public library is well-stocked with Tainan travel guides. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserOverall, Lakeshore Hotel Tainan is quite a decent choice. The premises were clean and well-kept, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and both the check-in and check-out processes were very efficient. The room size was adequate, the beds were comfortable, leading to a decent night's sleep, and the cleanliness was satisfactory. While the hotel offers a comprehensive range of facilities, there's room for improvement in their overall maintenance and attention to detail.
Judged purely by ********* standards, it could certainly pass as a four-star hotel. However, compared to high-end hotels in places like Macau, the difference is quite noticeable, especially in the refinement of details and service quality. The breakfast selection was decent but not extensive, though it met basic needs. The overall ambiance of the pool and public areas was pleasant, making it suitable for families and those with children.
All things considered, it was a largely satisfactory stay. If they can improve on the finer details and dining quality in the future, I believe it would be much closer to a five-star standard.

Vvictor zhongThe overall service quality at the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, proactively reached out to guests, and their responses were always prompt and helpful.
The hotel's surroundings were quiet and elegant. Its prime location meant it wasn't impacted by nearby buildings, and there was ample space for relaxation nearby.
The room facilities were well-maintained, and the cleanliness was excellent. However, the bathtub was a bit old and had some cracks, though it didn't pose any immediate danger.
The bathroom's glass door could benefit from frosted film to make it more visible, reducing the chance of collisions, or to enhance user privacy! Moreover, the privacy curtain was installed outside the bathroom, which was not very convenient to use.
For the extra bed, an open-style screen could be added to provide more personal space and privacy, and minimize direct sightlines with the main bed.
The breakfast quality was very satisfactory, especially the buffet.

GGuest UserIt is my third or fourth time staying in this hotel. The room is very spacious and comfortable. This is the tallest building in town and should be the most luxurious hotel there. It is right next to the Tainan Rail Station and is super convenient. Staff service is great. There aren’t much changes since I last stayed here in 2014. Nonetheless it is a place worth staying in Tainan.

GGuest UserWas worried about the mixed Google reviews but Villa area was nicer than expected. Recommended to come on a weekday so there are fewer people. Enjoyed the public hot springs (room came with 1 coupon) and the personal room hot springs). Booked Tuscany room and the hot springs are located outdoors, you can still do a nude dip but take note that there are other rooms above you, can wrap a towel from the room the pools. Room itself is smaller than expected but quite decent. Some flies around but otherwise good.
