Location is top notch,next door is bedding shop, majority local eateries around opens around noon, for breakfast walk further up across main street Room is immaculately clean,plenty of local channels & 2English programmes available on TV, Japanese toilet is available in the double room Especially loves the AC as it’s not facing bed directly There is water dispenser on each level,for beverage/Tea sachets, guest need to get it at the pantry behind reception desk"

"For Tainan, this place offers great value for money. It has a sauna, pool, gym, and a super central location. If you have a reason to visit Tainan, this is a good option. The service attitude is better than other hotels in Tainan in the same price range, perhaps due to cultural influence; they are especially attentive to Japanese guests, which is fine."

"The hotel isn't too far from the train station, but it's a bit inconvenient to walk there with luggage. The hotel itself has a lot of character, and the sofa next to the elevator is very comfortable! One small downside: I had requested a non-smoking room, but shortly after checking in, I started to smell smoke. I'm guessing someone else was smoking in their room, and the smell came through the vents. There's a delicious soy milk breakfast place near the hotel!"

"A hip and trendy boutique hotel with great service — the staff are attentive and friendly. The property has a lovely library and a community kitchen, which adds a warm, social touch. Since the hotel is very popular, it was fully booked when I stayed around New Year. Breakfast was separated into hour‑long time slots, and I chose the 9–10 a.m. slot — apparently the most popular one. The breakfast itself was nice, but unfortunately, the dining area was extremely crowded, and I couldn’t get a seat during my designated time. The queue was long, so I ended up taking a takeaway box and eating in my room, without any beverage. Although the space was packed, guests were generally polite and respectful — no pushing or food hoarding, which I truly appreciated. Still, the hotel should really consider expanding or reorganising the breakfast area, as the current setup feels quite inefficient."

"My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...)."

"This hotel really added a bonus to my trip in Tainan. It was honestly comfortable till the stage when the day ended, we actually looked forward to return to the hotel (didn’t feel like a hotel anymore, but more like going home) The location is really good too. It’s in a pretty open area surrounded by residential places, markets, and sports areas, so everything is quite convenient. Places like Shennong Street and other attractions are about a 15-18 minute walk away. The whole area is nice for city walks, just casually walking around also feels interesting. The room itself is new, clean, and well designed. Bathroom has proper dry-wet separation feels really nice and relaxing. The bed is also super comfortable and clean (there was just a few tiny hole, but it didn’t really affect anything) Overall, the whole place has a really nice vibe. Good service, good room, good location, honestly very worth it for the price. My friend and I really liked it, and we didn’t really want to leave when we checked out."

"The nightstand had a strong odor that was really pungent and kept wafting into my nose while I was sleeping. I'm guessing it's new, and I hope the hotel can do something to air it out 🤣. Otherwise, the location is excellent, it's clean and tidy, and very convenient for getting around."

"The hotel is basically the same as the pictures, what you see is what you get. The space is large and the privacy is good. It's quite far from the city center, about a 20-minute drive away. There are a lot of mosquitoes, and the air conditioner is quite loud at night."

"Highly recommended for families with kids! There's so much fun stuff at the hotel that my child didn't want to leave. At night, they slept cuddling the little toy they received, and in the morning, they brought the bear with them for breakfast, even taking it along for car rides. They said they want to come back again next time!"

"Staying for one night during a long weekend for $1,800 is indeed a pretty good deal for a business hotel. This time I stayed in room 208. The main pros are that it's clean and the shower head provides really hot water. But!!! The bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area (understandable, as shown in the picture). Even when I tried to squeeze into a 90-degree corner to shower, the drain couldn't cope at all. Water would accumulate significantly before finally draining into the hole under the sink. Luckily, the bath mat hadn't been put down yet, otherwise it would have been soaked. The sink counter is also very short, so water splashes out when you brush your teeth or wash your face, no matter how awkwardly you try to wash up. Next, the mini-fridge had a strong sour smell when opened. It looked clean inside, but the smell was like someone had left their late-night snack in there too long and it wasn't cleaned promptly – it was awful. Then there's the TV. It's great, with lots of new movie options, but the color temperature was completely off. Initially, I thought, with such high ratings and me getting a relatively good deal, maybe I shouldn't be too picky. Later, I realized that the high 'value for money' comments, mentioning cleanliness and tidiness, were based on others paying only $850/night (on weekdays). That pretty much explains the good reviews! Hygiene isn't an issue! But overall, the facilities are seriously subpar. That's all!"
