AAmigowoThis hotel is the most delightful surprise I've ever experienced in decades. The environment is like a paradise, and just a 3-minute walk from the doorstep is Tainan's famous Anping Old Street and Anping Fort. The rooms are incredibly spacious and uniquely designed, and the breakfast and afternoon tea are comparable to a five-star hotel. It's perfect for vacationers; a three-day stay will surely surprise you. Highly recommended!

AAihkThis hotel is surrounded by many nice local restaurants and shops - I especially loved the wet market ”You-Ai Market” next to hotel, where local people buy vegetables and seafood, ready-to-go traditional foods. Some stalls were also run by young locals offering hand-dripped coffee, crepes, tapas, cocktails etc. It's a place you can have mixed food culture.
Our twin room was specious and clean. I stayed with friends as a group trip & we enjoyed going to 3/F free guest lounge. They have a fully equipped kitchen & large terrace you can use any time to relax. Highly recommended hotel.

GGuest UserGot a single room with a private bathroom, and wow! After a lovely two weeks in Narita, Busan, Seoul, Macau, Taipei, and Kaohsiung, I never thought that Tainan would be my coziest stay, but it really was! My room was so spacious and clean, which was so great, since I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac about hotel sanitation. Spending my days wandering around Tainan and then coming home to the Red House, turning on a kdrama on the flat-screen TV, and drifting off to sleep on my comfy lil futon, genuinely might've been the highlights of my trip :) Great job, please keep it up!!!

The location couldn’t be better—right across from Tainan Park, it’s peaceful yet still within walking distance to the train station and local eateries. The atmosphere of the inn feels both cozy and refreshing, surrounded by greenery that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city.
The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with natural light, soft bedding, and just the right touch of simplicity. Every detail showed the owner’s care—from the locally roasted coffee in the common area to the warm welcome when I arrived. I especially loved the small garden space where you can relax with a cup of tea in the afternoon.
What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with local travel tips and food recommendations. Their genuine kindness made me feel like I was visiting an old friend rather than staying at a hotel.
I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tainan. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort, warmth, and a touch of nature in the heart of the city.

GGuest UserI had an absolutely delightful experience during my stay at Crowne Plaza Tainan! From the moment I stepped in, everything – from the front desk reception and impeccable room cleanliness to the overall service quality – truly exuded a five-star standard.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural light. The soft, comfortable bed ensured a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom featured a convenient wet and dry separation, was fully stocked with amenities, and even thoughtfully included aromatic bath products. Every small detail truly reflected the hotel's dedication and care.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes. Both the Chinese congee and the Western-style made-to-order egg dishes were exceptionally delicious. I particularly recommend waking up early to fully enjoy it!
My favorite aspect was the hotel's location. It's peaceful and away from the city's hustle, yet still conveniently close to Anping Fort and the riverside scenic area – perfect for travelers who enjoy a more relaxed pace.
Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel for both business and leisure travelers. I would absolutely love to return! Many thanks to Crowne Plaza Tainan for such a wonderful trip.

GGuest UserGreat location and interesting old house. It was as shown in the pictures. The host is very friendly and recommended a few places to go and explained the house. He could have given more detailed instructions on the car park, which is closeby but you need to park in the area 62 to be closeby to the house. It’s a long car park so it’s seems far from where you go in but it’ll work out! The car park right next to the house is very expensive.
The house faces towards the car park and the street to the motorcycles are a bit noisy.
Water and cups are provided by the hotel.
Trip.com didn’t tell the owner my email or phone number so he couldn’t contact me and there was no one for checkin. We called him and he came quickly, just would be nicer for everyone if he had those details. Otherwise I recommend proactively contacting him.

__WeChat24848****The hotel is a bit old, and there's a slight odor when you first enter the room, but the location is quite convenient. The breakfast has a good variety, it's right next to the train station, and there's a mall next door with a very famous bubble tea shop.

小小玉菜An absolutely fantastic experience! The accommodation was superb. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks on the ground floor. Every staff member was incredibly friendly! Breakfast was decent. The price was very affordable, offering excellent value for money! I would definitely return. They also have a designated parking lot, and it's free!

小小瑩火方方Staying at 'King's Garden Villa' in Guanziling this time, the moment I stepped into the resort, that vacation relaxation just washed over me.
The entire resort is free of towering buildings; what greets your eyes are charming, nature-infused cabins and low-rise houses, artfully scattered throughout the grounds, creating the impression of a secluded village retreat. The main lobby boasts a warm, rustic style, with wooden decor and furniture that feels especially inviting and relaxing.
Even though the hotel has been open for many years, the maintenance of the guest rooms, hot spring pools, and public areas is exceptionally well done – there’s no sense of age whatsoever, which speaks volumes about the meticulous management. The staff’s attitude is just as rumored: friendly, attentive, and making you feel right at home.
No wonder it's always been the top choice for many Tainan locals when they come to Guanziling for hot springs. Its years of excellent reputation prove that a great resort isn't just about the scenery and hot springs, but also about that consistent comfort and warmth. This experience certainly lived up to expectations.
