"I can't erase the old feeling, but it is a cleanly maintained neat hotel. This was my third visit, but the parking lot was always convenient, it was raining, but it is a comfortable place to go around the center. I rested well."

"We have been going to Suwon for several years now, everything is great and interestingly arranged here. The place is right next to the fortress. You can go out and walk and then come back in right away. You can climb the mountain and walk around the fortress and more."

"Yeah, this hotel was interesting. It looked like the pictures provided but, it wasn't as clean. It's could stand to have an update in furniture. I truly loved the bed though, softest one I've been in since I've been traveling around korea for the past year. It's decent if you want to just go out with friends but it gives *** motel vibes so I would never bring someone I'm dating there. All and all it's not bad but it's a going out to get drunk and just need a place to lay your head kind of place."

"We book this hotel near to stadium as we were going to watch a basketball match. Location good and many restaurants were right behind the hotel and opens till late.
We stayed one night, the bath tub needs an upgrading but the bed were good to sleep on."

SShaxi Peter’s KitchenThis Marriott is connected to a very small mall with many restaurants (nothing fancy).
The Mall is convenient and nice to walk around in.
More importantly, it borders a wetland park, which is really nice to spend time in.
There is not much to do in Suwon (it seems to be a business oriented city with many business people visiting LG and Samsung.) There is also a convention center and a larger mall next door.
Breakfast is ok.

AAnonymous UserFamily room is big with 2 queen beds. Room is clean and amenities provided is good with water dispenser machine, teabag and coffee mix at floor level. Newly built located next to arte hotel.
However, there is no shower curtain, as such the floor is pretty wet after each shower. It may be good that there are more hooks or hangers provided in a family room for 4 pax use.
Location - near many good eateries and restaurants, and drinking places. CU is just opposite the hotel which is a plus. For travellers who are not driving, its a hassle to pull your bag through uneven pavement to find the hotel. (Nearest suwon city hall stop). We requested for leave luggage at reception which was obliged before and after check in and out.

AAndiswaAThe locations was great 😊, there’s a chilled street for those who like peace where the hotel is located and there are busy streets for those who like to party and it’s a walking distance. The hotel is like 7 minutes walk away from the train station which made traveling very easy. There are a lot of activities to do in Suwon . The hotel is clean and I loved the check out at 12:00 . The check in was a bit late 16:00 but it was no bother since we wanted to explore the city anyways. The service was great and there was someone who spoke a bit of English at the check in counter which is good for foreigners 💃🏽❤️

TTsui Chi GigiDue to a change of circumstances, I stayed 2 nights despite I booked 4 nights. I tried to send them an email on 12 February's evening to cancel my stay on 16 February, but they replied to me on 13 February that I could only cancel 3 days in advance. I understood that I sent them late on 12 February, but I didn't know the cut-off time and I had an emergency to shorten my trip.
It was my second time staying here. I am not sure if the settings were different since I was assigned a different room. This time, they provided disposable slippers (which was good for hygiene's reason) and there was a smart toilet seat (also good for me!). I had a problem turning off the 2 nights beside my bed and when I tried to ask the front desk, there was no one available (looks like they don't have any staff on duty after 23:00). The problem was resolved by unplugging the key card that I was asked to insert to turn on the power of the room (not sure if this is the right way to do that though).
Another issue was that I was waken up by music before 8am on the next day (I had an early flight the day before and I really needed the sleep). I found the source - It came from the loud speakers of a car which stopped in front of the construction site next to the hotel. There were 2 men with banners and they seemed to be protesting about something? The music was so loud that I could hear very clearly on the 6th Floor.
There were stains on the carpet, but the cleanliness was okay overall. The parking spaces are too few and this is something the hotel needs to improve.
All in all, it was a good value for money. The location was good - there were lots of restaurants, convenience stores nearby and a huge supermarket in walking distance. If I go to Suwon again, I may choose this hotel again.

KKarleneI ended up arriving early and was willing to wait for my room to be ready, but my room was ready, and I was able to go in. Everything was very clean, and the service was top-notch. It was pretty easy to get around and not too bad if you had to take a taxi. The area wasn't noisy. There were plenty of places to eat, including a healthy sandwich shop around the corner. I wish I could remember the name, but the ingredients were fresh, and there was English available, so no guessing. The place is like a Salady, but for sandwiches. Anyway, I had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

KKarleneI have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.

AAlessandraIt is quite hidden to find it. As there aren't many parking spaces, you need to go to the reception and he's even going to park your car where a cone is reserving the parking space for the Malu Hotel after you check-in. The bed was a bit bouncy but okay, as I didn't slept much. You can hear people talking in the corridor through the door. There was a small kitchen with a kettle and microwave. A fridge and tiny freezer in it, with bottles of water. The shower head handle was cracked so the water was leaking from there too, but I had a nice hot shower with a big towel since a long time.

TTsujimiThere is a convenience store on the first floor, it is very close to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, and there are stylish cafes and restaurants nearby, so I recommend it!

Facilities: There is no socket at the bedside, and only 2 power strips connected to the TV are powered. Fortunately, a friend brought a power strip.
The table is rotten, it is recommended to change
Hygiene: Hygiene is actually a little worse, I hope to correct it
The toilet is still stained and there is hair on the bedside.

GGuest UserThe guy not speak any word in english and even if I said that a booked a room he wanted to make me leave the hotel ! So, don't try to speak with him, just show your name and the reservation, he will give you the key and at your depart you have to leave it in the elevator, it's cold but that's how is it. We sleep in a ondol room (matress in the floor) ; the room is not pleasant (rather dilapidated) but the matress is confortable, you have kettle and one time coffe-tea-water, hot water in the shower ; it's enought to be in good condition. The localisation is pretty good, not too far from the citadelle maybe half an hour of walk.
