EEleniCI found this to be an exceptional hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, helping me book local experiences at discounted rates exclusive to hotel guests and providing a range of complimentary activities, including afternoon tea, an evening sweet treat, a singing bowl session, and a craft-making workshop. Breakfast was included, and I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. As a vegan, it is not always easy to find good dining options in China, but the hotel was able to provide delicious vegan meals, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was handled through WeChat, with regular updates and helpful reminders from the staff. Because everything was managed through the app, the language barrier was never an issue, even though most of the staff did not speak English. I also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor swimming pool, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. It was a wonderfully relaxing break, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Yangshuo is truly a hidden gem! As soon as we arrived, a butler greeted us at the entrance with warm hospitality, helping with our luggage and making us feel right at home – all the fatigue from our journey instantly vanished. The lobby's decor is unique, and the furniture is incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect spot for relaxing and taking stunning photos. The attentive butler also carried our luggage to the room and explained how to use all the amenities, which was super thoughtful. Our room had fresh seasonal fruit, and the mini-bar was stocked with various drinks, all complimentary. Opening the curtains revealed a beautiful view, giving us a feeling of being in a paradise. The room was spotlessly clean, the shower had instant hot water, and featured a high-end Hansgrohe showerhead, a smart toilet, a pure copper sink, and a Dyson hairdryer. These are rare amenities in hotels I've stayed in, making the experience incredibly comfortable and top-notch [Strong]. Breakfast on the first floor offered a wide variety of nutritious options. The outdoor lawn and pool are also great for taking pictures. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo; it definitely won't disappoint. Parking is also convenient. There's so much more I could say, but you really need to experience it for yourself. I'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending it to my friends. A truly superb stay!

GGuest UserService: I communicated with the hotel in advance that my partner and I would be staying, and we were pleasantly surprised to find our room simply decorated with a complimentary small cake! All hotel services are handled via a WeChat group. Upon check-in, they send breakfast and drink menus. The butler was very responsive to messages in the WeChat group, but the complimentary bicycle rental was never mentioned. Dining: Breakfast is à la carte, and the presentation is exquisite. However, the taste was just so-so. The beef brisket noodle soup had very hard noodles, and the Spanish omelet was quite greasy. The biggest issue was that some breakfast dishes took an excessively long time to be served. The afternoon tea offers some paid snacks that tasted good. We also set aside one evening to dine at the hotel. The crispy farm duck and stir-fried cured meat with fresh bamboo shoots were delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the black pepper short ribs! The late-night snack also included two soups (one sweet, one savory) and a fruit platter. Cleanliness: On our first night, while getting ready, we found a long hair that didn't belong to us on the showerhead. For a hotel in this price range, that's really unacceptable, and I hope they pay more attention to this in the future!

WWangzhamiemiejiangFrom a facilities perspective, it feels more like a converted guesthouse, so if you're looking for a hotel-style accommodation, this might not be for you. Firstly, the public areas aren't carpeted, the door locks aren't what you'd find in a high-end hotel, and while the overall decor has some design elements, it lacks a cohesive theme, feeling rather jumbled and without much quality. In the room, the vanity and bathtub are semi-open plan, and there's only one sink. The bathroom has old-fashioned frosted glass partitions – in short, it doesn't feel like a slightly more upscale hotel. The overall design comfort is not as good as Atour hotels. The balcony view is okay, but just okay. The chaotic design contributes to a perception of less cleanliness; you always feel the balcony is dusty and the bathroom isn't very clean. As I was traveling with a friend, we didn't use the semi-open bathtub, so I can't really comment on its cleanliness. The complimentary photography service was particularly bad. The photographer wasn't very professional; it felt like they were just trying to get the job done, with no guidance or aesthetic sense. I wouldn't recommend relying on this service for good photos. Despite not meeting expectations, I gave this place a high rating because of its service. From the pick-up driver (the pick-up service was excellent, a comfortable business car, enthusiastic introductions all the way) to the welcoming front desk staff, to the bartender, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. You can tell everyone truly loves working here. They remembered every guest's name, enthusiastically introduced every area, anticipated needs, responded promptly, and genuinely smiled and bowed to guests – something many luxury hotel staff fail to do! Most staff members wore multiple hats, and each one was outstanding, performing their duties excellently and demonstrating impressive training. On the day we left, they not only helped us with our luggage but also offered water to the driver. As our car drove away, the staff continued to bow in farewell, which was incredibly touching. By the way, smoking isn't prohibited indoors in Guangxi, so smelling smoke in the bar at night was quite unpleasant (I did provide feedback to the hotel and hope for improvements). If you're looking to experience exceptional service in a great guesthouse, this place is definitely worth a try. If you're utterly disappointed with luxury service, you might also want to check out this place. The genuine and warm hospitality is truly this place's greatest charm and best selling point.🫰

FFanfanfan. The room was incredibly comfortable, facing the Li River. Opening the door immediately gave us an unobstructed view of the river—it was stunning. The hotel amenities were also very complete, from the coffee machine to the bathtub. Both beds were super comfy, like lying on a cloud, almost making us not want to leave the room!. Breakfast was served from 7 AM to 10 AM, offering a good variety including rice noodles, steamed dishes, eggs, coffee, and soy milk. The rice noodles were quite good and tasty, and the sweet potatoes and corn were also very sweet. The comfortable environment made for a very peaceful and restful night's sleep. There's a coffee shop right next door, perfect for taking photos and enjoying desserts. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in Yangshuo, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.

AApilucheeOur stay here was truly one of the highlights of our Yangshuo trip. The hotel is exceptionally family-friendly, with plenty of activities that kept both the kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. It strikes a wonderful balance between relaxation and fun, making it a perfect destination for families. A special mention goes to the photography service, which exceeded all our expectations. The photographers were professional, patient, and wonderful with children, capturing so many beautiful and natural moments that we will treasure for years to come. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and became one of the most memorable parts of our stay. The warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful experiences made our vacation even more special. We would happily recommend this hotel to any family visiting Yangshuo and would love to return again in the future.

GGuest UserAn absolutely amazing hotel! Before I went, I saw the opening year and was worried the hotel might be too old, since I usually only stay in luxury hotels that opened within the last four or five years. I even called the hotel to confirm. They said it opened in 2019. I really wanted to visit Guilin but couldn't find any suitable hotels, so I booked this one. The actual stay far exceeded my expectations! Each room is a villa with a large private pool. Getting around is easy with electric buggies that are available on call and arrive super fast! The service is excellent! Breakfast was also incredible! It's à la carte, just like the resort experience we had in the Maldives! And everything tasted great! Fresh ingredients, and the chicken was so tender! The hotel villas are surrounded by lush greenery, with stunning reflections of the mountains and water – absolutely beautiful! Riding in the electric buggy, with picturesque views and a cool breeze, I even felt like my skin improved and I looked prettier, haha! There were also many young, handsome male staff members, and their service attitude was exceptionally good!!! Everything was perfect!!! No exaggeration, my first trip to Guilin over ten years ago with a tour group and a bunch of older ladies left a terrible impression. This trip completely changed my perception of Guilin! This hotel deserves a lot of credit for that!!! It's a hotel my family of three would definitely visit again!

GGuest UserPoised in mountains and waters, nestled in clouds – an exceptional stay at Jiyun Shangyuan Resort Hotel by the Yulong River. First things first: More than just accommodation, it's a destination. Yangshuo boasts countless hotels, but Jiyun Shangyuan is an utterly underrated 'heavenly guesthouse'. This stay offered a complete cure for the senses – visual, taste, and soul. It’s truly a perfect hotel with no flaws! Reason for a perfect score one: Divine views that 'frame' the karst landscape into your room. The hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street, enjoying its own tranquil space. Our room featured a floor-to-ceiling glass window spanning an entire wall. Honestly, photos don't capture even a tenth of its beauty! The misty green hills of the Yulong River unfold before you like a dynamic IMAX movie. It truly lives up to 'open the window to a view, sleep under the moon, and wake with the sunrise'. Lying in bed gazing at the mountains and waters, or watching stars from the balcony bathtub – this ultimate sense of relaxation is something no other scenic spot along the Li River can offer. Reason for a perfect score two: Heartfelt service that treats guests like 'family'. The service here could easily be a textbook example for the industry. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it 100 points. From the butler's proactive contact after booking to the warm reception upon arrival, the entire process was smiling and efficient. When the Li River was flooding, the butler constantly reminded us to be safe. When our child wanted local fruit, the butler thoughtfully provided some. After playing in the water, our clothes got wet, and there's a self-service laundry room. We even forgot our clothes in the laundry, and the butler kindly delivered them to our room. This feeling of 'everything is handled, every need is met' is truly more touching than the standardized service of a five-star hotel. Reason for a perfect score three: Culinary delights and high-end amenities. Regarding dining, the Chinese breakfast offered authentic Guilin rice noodles, while the Western breakfast perfectly blended with Lipu taro and pumpkin. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the coffee at Cloud Restaurant was top-notch, with the Basque cheesecake being unforgettable. The lighting in the restaurant also helps for great photos. In terms of amenities, the hotel spared no expense: King Koil mattresses, Kohler sanitary ware, Dyson hairdryers, and even a thoughtful self-service laundry room. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, showing attention to detail. It offers the warmth of a guesthouse while maintaining five-star hotel hardware standards. Reason for a perfect score four: Immersive local cultural experiences. This place isn't just selling scenery; it's dedicated to sharing culture. The hotel is filled with Zhuang elements. Beyond beautiful decor, you can also enjoy free photo shoots in traditional Zhuang attire. Against the backdrop of the infinity pool and the mountains, every shot looks like a magazine cover. Furthermore, activities like hand-sewing embroidered balls and making oil tea kept both adults and children engaged. Families with kids don't need to worry about boredom, as the children's playground and pool are enough to tire out the little 'beasts'. Final thoughts: We'll be back. Our stay happened during heavy rain, but after the rain cleared, the scenery was even more beautiful. Regardless of the weather, Jiyun possesses a different charm. We even felt a little reluctant to leave. Just like its name suggests, there's an ethereal, otherworldly quality here, yet it's filled with the warmth of home. If you come to Yangshuo, you must 'waste' your time at Jiyun Shangyuan. Tips: · We recommend booking a panoramic room type or a family room for the best views. · Definitely try the hotel's electric bicycle rental; the Ten-Mile Gallery is right at the doorstep. · The hotel is very close to the Yulong River rafting (Shuidi section), within walking distance, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserA huge thank you to Nora! Her service-mindedness truly shone through; she proactively met our reasonable requests, communicated patiently, and worked very efficiently. This made our stay incredibly enjoyable and left us with a fantastic experience. The hotel environment is lovely, and during our stay, we really felt the local charm and a comfortable atmosphere. The dining was exquisite. What's more, they offer various animal feeding activities, which were full of childlike wonder and a hit with both kids and adults alike. We also tried the bamboo raft drifting from the hotel's private pier this time, which was very Guilin-esque! It was wonderful! We'll definitely be back to relax amidst the mountains and rivers again!

FFrancesca FWe really enjoyed our stay at Tui Blue. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of West street, but only a 12yen didi there. The views are stunning, including of the romance park across the street. Front desk staff were so kind. Breakfast every morning had both Chinese and western options, including fresh noodles being made to order. This hotel takes great pride in their cleanliness and design. Room was amazing. Great views. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure from the shower. Free mini fridge for the first round of drinks, and tea and coffee in the room. Our few things where we would recommend improvements to the hotel: - There was no working AC in the gym. - Gym should have some lighter weights too. - Gym needs a mirror. - Pool towels should be available by the pool. (Unsure if they normally are.. we went out in the rain so possibly during sun they have these readily available). - some small things need to be maintained. (Gym wall leak with mold present, painting around windows peeling off, outdoor plant maintenance, pool tidy of chairs and ensure pool inflatables are actually blown up.These small things aren’t really noticed by everybody, however as a travel agent myself it is what sets luxury hotels apart from others). Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again.
