GGuest UserTraveling solo, I booked a ground-floor room with a courtyard. Sitting there, looking out at the magnificent mountains, felt incredibly therapeutic. The rooftop restaurant was also fantastic; a single meat and vegetable dish was plenty for one person, and the views were unbeatable. Shout-out to the travel photographers too; dressed in ethnic attire, they blended perfectly with the beautiful scenery, making for wonderful souvenirs.

GGuest UserService: I communicated with the hotel in advance that my partner and I would be staying, and we were pleasantly surprised to find our room simply decorated with a complimentary small cake! All hotel services are handled via a WeChat group. Upon check-in, they send breakfast and drink menus. The butler was very responsive to messages in the WeChat group, but the complimentary bicycle rental was never mentioned.
Dining: Breakfast is Ă la carte, and the presentation is exquisite. However, the taste was just so-so. The beef brisket noodle soup had very hard noodles, and the Spanish omelet was quite greasy. The biggest issue was that some breakfast dishes took an excessively long time to be served. The afternoon tea offers some paid snacks that tasted good. We also set aside one evening to dine at the hotel. The crispy farm duck and stir-fried cured meat with fresh bamboo shoots were delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the black pepper short ribs! The late-night snack also included two soups (one sweet, one savory) and a fruit platter.
Cleanliness: On our first night, while getting ready, we found a long hair that didn't belong to us on the showerhead. For a hotel in this price range, that's really unacceptable, and I hope they pay more attention to this in the future!

MManmanyummyI came to Guilin Yangshuo for my birthday, and this secluded, niche hotel felt like I was living inside a traditional landscape painting.
It's not trying too hard to be an Instagram-famous spot; instead, it has that relaxed vibe of integrating the mountains into everyday life, slowing down even my breathing đ. The natural wood and white walls are clean and simple, but it's the karst peaks outside the window that truly shine. Open the window, and you're met with a flowing ink wash painting.
The rooftop moon-gazing platform offers stunning sunset views, making all of Yangshuo feel gentle. In the backyard, black swans leisurely glide in the pond, and when the mist machine in the bamboo forest turns on, it's absolutely magical â every photo you take looks like a high-quality shot đ¸. The afternoon tea desserts are beautiful and not overly sweet, with mountains as your backdrop, and the coffee is also excellent âď¸.
The room's balcony **offers breathtaking mountain and water views â°ď¸. The bedding and amenities in the room are top-notch đ. There are welcome fruits, and snacks and drinks are complimentary!
The attention to detail is superb đĽ°. They not only provided face masks but even considered feminine hygiene needs! They also prepared a birthday cake for me on my birthday đ â I was very touched â¤ď¸.
The dinner was divine! The beer fish was tender and boneless, and the oily tea chicken was incredibly fragrant, all made to order. The chef is Michelin-level; the seasoning isn't heavy, perfectly capturing the local flavors. Breakfast is semi-buffet, with freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles paired with their exclusive sour bamboo shoots â I couldn't stop eating đ.
The biggest surprise was getting to interact with the animals! đ° The rabbits are soft and you can pet them freely, and đŚ parrots will fly onto your shoulder. Kids didn't want to leave, and adults felt incredibly soothed ~.
The butler service was attentive and detail-oriented â this is truly what a vacation should be like â¨.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Yangshuo, and I stumbled upon this hotel on my way back. I only realized it was in an ancient town â Fuli Ancient Town by the Li River â once I arrived. The hotel's 4th floor offers the best viewing spot, and you can take a bamboo raft right downstairs. They also have free parking and charging stations. The manager was excellent, very enthusiastic, and eager to introduce us to the town's unique features and local culture. We arrived a bit late, so we missed out on the hotel's special activities, but the customer service sister upgraded our room for free, which we really appreciated. The best part was after walking through several empty streets at night, we found a restaurant that was still open! We had delicious Sichuan-style fish (the owner bought the fish fresh!) and stir-fried twice-cooked pork with snow peas. It was a wonderful experience, definitely five stars!

GGuest UserThe view from Room 01 in Building 6 is absolutely stunning, with expansive vistas. I found myself wanting to stay in the hotel all day! The service was excellent; the butler would inform us daily about activities and snacks, and even helped deliver takeout to our room. It's newly renovated, so the room environment is great, with smart facilities and excellent hygiene. The location isn't its strongest point, as there aren't many food options nearby, but getting around by taxi is actually quite convenient. It's only about a fifteen-minute drive to West Street, making dinner plans easy. Breakfast was average â nothing special, but no complaints either. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended! Oh, and a big plus: the hotel didn't push for good reviews in exchange for gifts at checkout.

AAntonrdlvThis is genuinely one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. From the moment we arrived, the overall experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the world-class service. The staff operates at the highest possible level of hospitality, demonstrating an incredible attention to detail. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and their personalized approach made our stay truly unforgettable.
When it comes to dining, the daily breakfast is excellent and provides a wonderful start to the day. However, there is some room for improvement regarding the lunch and dinner offerings. While perfectly fine, the afternoon and evening menus simply did not quite match the luxurious, five-star standard set by the rest of the hotel.
Fortunately, this minor culinary drawback hardly impacted our trip. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10 to 15-minute trip away from a wide variety of fantastic local restaurants, making it very easy to find great meals nearby.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its breathtaking atmosphere and unmatched customer service. We are already planning when to return!

First things first: More than just accommodation, it's a destination.
Yangshuo boasts countless hotels, but Jiyun Shangyuan is an utterly underrated 'heavenly guesthouse'. This stay offered a complete cure for the senses â visual, taste, and soul. Itâs truly a perfect hotel with no flaws!
Reason for a perfect score one: Divine views that 'frame' the karst landscape into your room.
The hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street, enjoying its own tranquil space.
Our room featured a floor-to-ceiling glass window spanning an entire wall. Honestly, photos don't capture even a tenth of its beauty! The misty green hills of the Yulong River unfold before you like a dynamic IMAX movie. It truly lives up to 'open the window to a view, sleep under the moon, and wake with the sunrise'. Lying in bed gazing at the mountains and waters, or watching stars from the balcony bathtub â this ultimate sense of relaxation is something no other scenic spot along the Li River can offer.
Reason for a perfect score two: Heartfelt service that treats guests like 'family'.
The service here could easily be a textbook example for the industry. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it 100 points.
From the butler's proactive contact after booking to the warm reception upon arrival, the entire process was smiling and efficient. When the Li River was flooding, the butler constantly reminded us to be safe. When our child wanted local fruit, the butler thoughtfully provided some. After playing in the water, our clothes got wet, and there's a self-service laundry room. We even forgot our clothes in the laundry, and the butler kindly delivered them to our room. This feeling of 'everything is handled, every need is met' is truly more touching than the standardized service of a five-star hotel.
Reason for a perfect score three: Culinary delights and high-end amenities.
Regarding dining, the Chinese breakfast offered authentic Guilin rice noodles, while the Western breakfast perfectly blended with Lipu taro and pumpkin. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the coffee at Cloud Restaurant was top-notch, with the Basque cheesecake being unforgettable. The lighting in the restaurant also helps for great photos.
In terms of amenities, the hotel spared no expense: King Koil mattresses, Kohler sanitary ware, Dyson hairdryers, and even a thoughtful self-service laundry room. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, showing attention to detail. It offers the warmth of a guesthouse while maintaining five-star hotel hardware standards.
Reason for a perfect score four: Immersive local cultural experiences.
This place isn't just selling scenery; it's dedicated to sharing culture. The hotel is filled with Zhuang elements. Beyond beautiful decor, you can also enjoy free photo shoots in traditional Zhuang attire. Against the backdrop of the infinity pool and the mountains, every shot looks like a magazine cover.
Furthermore, activities like hand-sewing embroidered balls and making oil tea kept both adults and children engaged. Families with kids don't need to worry about boredom, as the children's playground and pool are enough to tire out the little 'beasts'.
Final thoughts: We'll be back.
Our stay happened during heavy rain, but after the rain cleared, the scenery was even more beautiful. Regardless of the weather, Jiyun possesses a different charm. We even felt a little reluctant to leave. Just like its name suggests, there's an ethereal, otherworldly quality here, yet it's filled with the warmth of home.
If you come to Yangshuo, you must 'waste' your time at Jiyun Shangyuan.

¡ Definitely try the hotel's electric bicycle rental; the Ten-Mile Gallery is right at the doorstep.
¡ The hotel is very close to the Yulong River rafting (Shuidi section), within walking distance, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel service was fantastic, and the butler service was incredibly attentive. The exclusive Banyan Tree mountain peak offers breathtaking views and an excellent, private experience. I loved the hotel's design philosophy, which harmonizes with nature; peacocks roam freely, creating a beautiful sense of balance between people and the natural world.
The food at Baiyun Chinese Restaurant was also delicious; my parents loved it too.
Anyway, I'll definitely be back for my next vacation. It's perfect for outdoor activities, relaxation, and just unwinding.
