Appreciate the upgrade by night duty manageress to their newly renovated room, which is spacious, which came with a huge super king-size bed. The photo-taking sessions that were offered free exceeded our expectations. The shots taken were highly professional, tempting us to purchase beyond the free pictures that were allocated to us. My wife was extremely happy with the photos and commented that the pictures taken were remarkable. Thanks again for their great efforts to make our stay memorable. Forgot to mention that breakfast, although it came with limited selection, offered surprisingly good local soup GUILIN NOODLE that surpasses many restaurant standards. An added bonus was the free shuttle service to the dock where the rafting took place and West Street, among other destinations within the vicinity. A gift upon our checkout was another surprise that delighted my wife and kids. On top of all these, the hotel is situated near many attractions.

We have chosen this hotel after reading lots of good comments. Stay there for 6d5n ,and no regrets. The staff is very friendly and assists us to book the attractions tickets . The hotel has prepared a lot of kids friendly activities such as feeding animals, swings, and an indoor playground . My girls totally enjoyed the stay . The rooms are very spacious and comfy. It comes with complimentary drinks in the fridge The location is slightly away from the happening area however there is no problem calling Didi . Highly recommend with families with younger kids to stay here.

Most attentive hotel i stayed during this shenzhen/guilin. Loved everything, just too bad i only booked one night. Their staff especially 燕子 & 小徐 are very helpful and friendly. Help us calling didi and where to go for bamboo rafting. The distance of the hotel is just walking distance to a wharf station and u easily rent a electric bike outside their hotel. The aunty behind the hotel is very nice and taught me how to ride the tri-bike.

I had an unforgettable stay at the Yangshuo Xishi Jinshe Hotel (Shili Gallery Yulonghe Branch). The view of the river is absolutely breathtaking—it’s like waking up in a dream every day! The service was exceptional; the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They provided excellent recommendations and introduced me to the area’s amazing activities, making my trip truly special. The cleanliness, location, and amenities were all perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene getaway with top-notch service. I can’t wait to come back!

The stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine. There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day. The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time. The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved. The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay. We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze. We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away. West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip. 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

The room was great. Japanese style toilet with bidet, a balcony you can sit on, a massive television too. The beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was a simple buffet with a noodle station that made fresh guilin rice noodles and wonton. There is an outdoor swimming pool but due to coming in Janaury it wasn't open. The hotel is a 20-minute car journey from West Street.

My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered a fantastic view of the mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the hot tub. One of the highlights of my stay was the wide range of activities and amenities available. There is free photography offered and everyday high tea and supper, there was always something to do. Dining at 聚龙小镇was also exceptional. The on-site restaurants offered a variety of delicious options. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure dinner was a memorable experience. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chicken. What truly made this stay special, however, was the exceptional service. Every staff member went out of their way to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt pampered throughout my visit. From the concierge who helped me plan excursions to the housekeeping team who kept my room spotless, the level of service was top-notch. Overall, my stay at 聚龙小镇exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, adventure, or simply a luxurious getaway, this resort offers it all. I must share it with everyone! 🌆The location is superb, it perfectly interprets what it means to be quiet in a bustling city. It is just a few steps away from the bustling West Street. If you want to eat, shop, and stroll, you can just lift your feet to get there. Go to West Street at night to feel the lively fireworks, and return to the hotel to quickly immerse yourself in the quiet atmosphere. It's really comfortable. 🏊♀️The hotel's supporting facilities are also great! Good news for families with children - there is a large children's playground with a full range of amusement facilities. As soon as the children enter, they have a lot of fun, freeing the hands of parents. Fitness enthusiasts can also sweat in the gym and keep the rhythm of exercise. There is also a thoughtful laundry room, which is a savior for those who are tired from the journey and don't want to wash clothes by hand. 🍰Afternoon tea time is a feast for vision and taste. Exquisite snacks, mellow drinks, and beautiful surrounding scenery make every frame as beautiful as a painting.
