XXXXR6uI recently stayed at the 1 Hotel Melbourne, and my overall experience was fantastic. The hotel's design is truly unique, embracing a natural, eco-friendly, and very textured aesthetic. From the moment you walk in, you feel a sense of relaxation, completely unlike the cold, impersonal vibe of traditional business hotels.
The room was quite spacious with excellent natural light, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was impressive, with many materials used showing a thoughtful and well-designed touch.
The location is also super convenient. A short walk takes you to the river, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. Enjoying a walk outside in the morning or evening was especially therapeutic.
The staff's service was consistently excellent; they were friendly, and any issues were communicated smoothly without any pressure.
If you appreciate hotels with great design that are also quiet and comfortable, this place is definitely worth a stay. I'd absolutely consider choosing it again on my next visit to Melbourne.

GGuest UserIf you’re looking for a stylish, central place to stay in Melbourne, Quay West Suites delivers in all the important areas.
📍 Prime Location
Quay West’s address on Flinders Lane puts you right in the heart of everything. A few steps takes you to the iconic Yarra River, Federation Square, and Melbourne’s best shopping and café districts. Whether you’re in town for business, arts, or dining, having public transport, laneways, and nightlife within easy walking distance is a huge convenience.
✨ Impeccable Cleanliness
From the moment you enter the foyer, the high standard of cleanliness across public areas and suites is clear. Plush carpets, sparkling bathrooms, and neatly made beds—everything felt fresh and immaculate throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a flawless job refreshing the room each day without ever interrupting my schedule.
👨💼 Friendly, Attentive Service
Customer service here is both professional and warm. Front desk staff greeted me by name and were quick to offer directions, recommend hidden-gem eateries, and help with luggage. Room service was punctual, meals were presented beautifully, and every staff interaction made me feel genuinely welcome—not just another guest.
🧭 Thoughtful Facilities
It’s the little things at Quay West that stand out:
• A well-equipped kitchenette in each suite––perfect for a relaxing breakfast or a quick late-night snack.
• In-room laundry facilities saved me from hunting down laundromats mid-trip.
• The comfortable lounge and communal spaces offer a quiet place to work or unwind.
• Gym and heated indoor pool, both kept spotless and perfect for a post-city exploration cooldown.

GGuest User**”A Wonderful One-Night Stay at Oakwood!”**
I had the pleasure of staying at Oakwood for a one-night getaway, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and eager to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The check-in process was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and clean room that awaited me.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had all the amenities I could need for a short stay. Oakwood’s atmosphere was peaceful, and I was able to relax and unwind in no time.
Though it was only one night, I felt truly taken care of and would highly recommend Oakwood to anyone looking for a restful stay. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be returning!
SSolomon LoOn 24/6 I ordered fried eggs during breakfast, yet the quality of the eggs were not up to standard, yolk was not normal and with no taste at all, yet I ordered same on the next day with a different chef, that was back to a normal egg, I wondered Sheraton would use such quality of eggs!
Another opinion is that gym room facilities are not enough, thanks!

AAnonymous UserThe location is fantastic. Most major city attractions are within walking distance, and the free tram stop is just around the corner. Australia's two main supermarkets, Coles and Woolworths, are also only a short walk away, and it's right next to the library.
The room I booked came with amenities like a microwave and a kettle, which made it very convenient for heating up groceries. The room was perfectly adequate for two people. For those booking a small group tour to the Great Ocean Road via Ctrip, hotel pick-up is available.
Overall, despite the room showing its age, it was perfectly sufficient and served its purpose well – definitely good value for money. Breakfast was quite good. For check-in, a basic command of English is necessary.

CCY TanExceptional Stay at W Hotel Melbourne
I recently stayed at the W Hotel in Melbourne, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless, stylish, and luxurious.
The design of the hotel is modern and chic, with vibrant decor that perfectly captures Melbourne’s cosmopolitan vibe. My room was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and offered stunning views of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in amenities—from the plush robes to the high-end toiletries—made it feel like a true escape.
The staff were exceptional—attentive, warm, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect. Dining at the hotel was also a highlight; the food was creative, fresh, and bursting with flavor.
The hotel’s location is ideal, placing you in the heart of Melbourne with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Whether you’re there for business or leisure, the W Hotel offers the perfect blend of comfort and style.
I highly recommend the W Hotel in Melbourne for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return!
Feel free to tweak it with any specific highlights or personal touches!

GGuest UserThe Chen was a great stay with my mum. The room is spacious with 2 queen size beds, room was beautifully decorated, clean, smelled nice and comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is great, close to Box Hill Central and train station. There were also rooftop swimming pool and BBQ area can be used by hotel guests.
GgowanchaidotcomWe stayed altogether three nights here. The hotel was converted from a historical building dated back to 1890s . We enjoyed the stay-included breakfast at Alluvial restaurant. It got charming vibe. the King Classic room we stayed is spacious consider it is in zone 1 of Melbourne. The hotel is in walking distance to many of the Melbourne city attractions we are even able to take some rest in the room in our planned city walking trip in the middle of a very hot summer sunny day.
The bathroom provides Byredo toiletries which we like. However, the decor is a bit dated and need refreshing and we are not happy with the service level of the staff. For example, the phone handfree function is not working properly; the safe is according to the hotel ”in the process of replacement” and not working either; the call to ”Instant Service” for help often took more than 5-seconds ring especially during the night time. There is even a false fire alert during one of the morning time of our stay. I doubt it is a standard of Intercontinental hotel or a 5-star rated hotel.
For whom consider staying at this room type of this hotel, please note the windows is fixed and facing the hallway so the room has 1. no natural sunlight 2. no fresh air and 3. needs closing the curtains all the time if you prefer privacy. Another point worth noting is the bathroom floor is very slippery after bath, I would call it a death trap if you wear the one-off slippers that is provided in the room as you can easily get a slip and fall on the bathroom floor even for a grown adult.
