"The hotel is nice and the location is very convenient. Two things were problems. 1. Try running in the gym when the sun rises - you can't without being blinded by the sun. Blinds need to be installed! The rest of the gym was very basic. 2. I tried to go to the rooftop bar a few times. It was advertised as open, but it wasn't. Looks like it could have been a nice place for a drink. Overall, the hotel was ok, but it did feel very impersonal and it lacked attention to detail."

"The room was spacious, bright, and very new. It came fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and induction hob. The hotel is conveniently located just 200 meters from a tram stop and 300 meters from a bus stop. It's also very close to Chinatown, making it an excellent location overall. If you plan to stay, remember to book in advance, as it's often fully booked."

"The Art Series hotels by Accor, while a novel idea years ago, are getting tired and a bit worn down at heel. The Olsen might have started as the belle of Chapel Street but she is definitely showing her age and no longer comes off as the cool influencer. Part of the problem is Accor can't decide what this series wants to be -- luxury hotels with $21 granola or boutique on a budget. The towels are thin, the lighting dim, the amenities screwed to the wall. We were placed in an ”accessible” room, which is a tiresome trick by front desk personnel to those bothering to find a good deal on overpriced lodgings. Mediocre shower, deafening fan, wet floor and soulless vibe. Bare minimum for coffee in room. Looked out our window at the poor souls working in the office across the way as it was better than staring at the curious drapes. Lift your game, Accor."

"The location is a bit far from the city center, but there's a tram stop and train station right outside the hotel, which is convenient. The staff were very nice and proactive in offering help. I asked for a one-hour late check-out, and even though the hotel was fully booked, they did their best to accommodate my request. Highly commendable!"

"1. The location is excellent, right by the river. It's convenient for walks, shopping, dining, or taking the tram to the city center. The Casino is also within walking distance. 2. The night view of the Yarra River from the room is beautiful (I recommend booking a river view room; city view rooms can be a bit noisy). 3. The room decor, with its natural wood and green plants, is cozy and elegant. 4. The gym offers great views, and the spa area is comfortable. 5. I didn't make it to breakfast, but my friends who did said it was rich and made-to-order (highly recommended). However, the room service I ordered was a bit disappointing (not recommended). 6. Finally, a big shout-out to Trip's customer service team for their prompt responses and effective communication, and a special thanks to Ms. Shan Yu from 1 Hotel for her assistance. This is definitely my top choice hotel in Melbourne."

"The room itself was decent and the location was convenient, but the service was quite poor. First, when we arrived at the hotel, the concierge wasn't proactive about helping us with our luggage, and after check-in, no one helped us with our bags either. Maybe we didn't explicitly ask, but still, the room was generally okay. What was really ridiculous was when we extended our stay. We had already swiped our room key at the front desk, but the next day, the elevator wouldn't go to our floor – it was as if the key hadn't been successfully updated. Then, when we got to the room, the door wouldn't open. We went to the front desk three times, and each time they said it had been fixed. The last time, I asked if someone could come upstairs with us to check, and the front desk agent said if it didn't open again, we should call them to deal with it. It still didn't open. Eventually, an engineer came, and we showed him the problem. He used his card to open it. This was something that could have been resolved in one go, but it wasted so much time going back and forth, so I'm very dissatisfied with the service. Although we had a language barrier, we used translation apps and even found Chinese-speaking staff, so I don't think that was an issue. Because the location was good, we still extended our stay, totaling four nights. The last two nights were booked directly at the front desk. We waited a long time to check in again, and they ended up giving us a room right next to the elevator. The staff member, who seemed to be Southeast Asian, had a very perfunctory, almost rude, attitude. The soundproofing in the room was also terrible; the elevator going up and down sounded like a train passing downstairs, and I was woken up several times at night. Since we had too much luggage, we were too lazy to change rooms."

"For my solo trip, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel's location was also very convenient, and the breakfast was decent. Overall, I found it to be excellent value for money. If you're looking to experience local life and want a lively atmosphere, I think this place will definitely meet your needs."
