Great
GGuest UserI booked the hotel for 3 nights. It was my first time in Qatar. It was very easy to get to the hotel from the airport. I just took a taxi and within 12-15 minutes I was already there. The check-in was super easy. The staff was very friendly and professional. They even upgraded my room which was super nice. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and more spacious than I expected. There are a few restaurants close to the hotel as well as a supermarket. But it's not the city center. When going around you can use Uber. It's very convenient and the drivers usually arrive within 1-4 minutes at the hotel to pick you up. But the best thing for me is the hotel's gym. Usually hotels have bad equipped gyms but Century Hotel is different. They have equipment for every muscle group. It won't replace a real gym over time but it's certainly good enough to stay in shape. Also, the pricing for the room is surprisingly cheap for Qatar. I'm very happy with what I get for the price. I'll book again.
NNJ2920The room was nice and spacious and the cleaners and dell boys are very good. Very clean rooms. I had an issue with my room, they gave us a smaller one to the one on the pictures, but the lady receptionist who looked maybe Chinese was very helpful.
The Egyptian and black receptionists were very rude and not accommodating. I found them to be very abrupt and not welcoming. Considering they are the first impression of the hotel and the ones you regularly contact for help this made the stay quite unpleasant. Luckily our car was parked in the basement so we never had to pass them and went straight to the car.
We asked for cutlery they said the kitchen was closed. I’ve never experienced this before, then when we ordered a talabat delivery they refused to send in to the room and when we went to reception is was very rude and said I don’t know where it is go ask the dell boy - like he was above the query. Honestly the reception needs to be improved drastically.
The only reason I would stay again is because it was cheap, and I was happy with the room.
LLost_in_louhiI loved my stay at Movenpick Hotel Doha! What stood out the most was its proximity to both the international airport and key attractions, which made getting around easy and stress-free. Another highlight was the incredible coffee—definitely my favorite part of each morning. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of flavorsome dishes, perfect for starting the day right. My room was cozy and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. While there were slight signs of wear-and-tear here and there, they didn't affect my overall positive experience. Overall, Movenpick Hotel Doha provides a fantastic balance between price and quality, especially recommended for those looking for quick and relaxing breaks while enjoying the city's charm.
FFaseel ShabdeenWonder Palace Hotel, Doha
I stayed at this hotel but decided to leave due to two main issues:
1. Late Checkout Problem – They strictly ask guests to check out by 12 PM and do not allow even a 30-minute extension. This is not flexible or guest-friendly, especially for frequent travelers.
2. Parking Issue – The hotel does not provide valet parking. No driver or parking assistant is available during day or night. The hotel has only 27 parking spots in the B1 basement and around 6 in front of the building, which are usually full. So we are forced to park far away and walk back to the hotel – very inconvenient, especially with luggage or in hot weather.
Why can’t the hotel keep just two valet drivers – one for the daytime and one for night? This is a basic service that many hotels manage easily. If they really don’t have drivers, I’m happy to provide one from my own company.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their services for future guests.
GGuest UserI had a 14-hour layover and stayed for a couple of hours. I arrived early and paid QAR 100 for early check-in. The receptionist was very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep because the room had a strong cigarette smell, and there was also a mouldy odour in both the room and bathroom. The phone in the room wasn’t working, so I couldn’t call the reception, and I was too tired to go downstairs. The room definitely needs a proper spring cleaning. Overall, I would rate it 3/5.
PPengmumuWe were forced to move from the West Bay because most hotels in Doha were terrible. First of all, the cleaning was not good enough. The biggest problem was that most of the shower drainage had problems. As long as the bath was full of water, the woman growing hair could not wash her hair. We checked a lot of hotel reviews. Complain about this problem, but I can only find a hotel with a bathtub and a shower. I finally found this one. I was satisfied. I stayed for a week. But there are still some problems, but these are not problems compared to the shower drainage problem.
Problem: The bathtub is too narrow, the shower head is too high, the water power of the shower is too small, the toilet is too close to the sink, you must be sideways to use the sink, the room is too cold, the sound insulation needs to be strengthened, and the sound of chanting will be awakened by the bed. More socket plugs are needed. The indoor light will be warmer if it is yellow. Xin comfortable bathroom supplies are only equipped with one person, but you can find the front desk to be stained. This problem can be found in many hotels in Doha.
YYuta_JimaNot bad with my booked room charges. But I found 2 small cockroaches in the room and only 1 set of amenities even thought additional ones were provided immediately once I requested. Front staff were friendly and ok.
OOlga.BorThe hotel is clean, with decent food. You can eat at 12 pm, which is helpful if you arrive at night. The airport is 6 stops away as the crow flies, and a 3-minute walk away. The market is a 10-minute walk away. Many attractions are nearby. Other attractions are also within easy reach.
TThyagoSThe room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my short stay. Although my booking was brief due to my flight schedule, it was a great room overall and met all my expectations.
