Great
GGuest UserLocation is excellent. Amenities are satisfactory. Hotel is clean. Restaurant staff are friendly. Room service staff are polite and do their job perfectly. Staff at reception desk and uncooperative. I just want to mention one incident. Three hours before check out I told them that I will be checking out on time , but I may need half and hour or one hour at most to pack my things. The lady said I have no problem. Nonetheless, they send someone who knocked at my door to remind me of the check out. I’m travelling for more than fifty years, and I had never encountered such a situation. Imagine I stayed in this hotel for a total of more than 50 days during the last two years . Pathetic
GGuest UserThe property was in a good location- walkable distance to MIA park and museum. The service was exceptional from the night staff, our son had spoiled the sheet twice at night and both times they were very quick to change sheets. The breakfast was good, a range of options and something for everyone to enjoy.
I think some aspects of the rooms can be upgraded as we can see the wear and tear. Otherwise spacious rooms and big and nice bathrooms
GGuest UserThe service was excellent! The front desk staff upgraded me to a studio because I was traveling alone and accidentally booked a smoking room. I'm sure this room change made a huge positive difference to my stay over the past few days! The room was spacious, absolutely fantastic! The pillows were a bit too flat and soft, though.
I stayed for 3 nights. On the first night, even past 1 AM, there was still constant and rhythmic dragging of tables and chairs coming from upstairs, which made me involuntarily think the worst. Luckily, this didn't happen on the next two nights. I hope I wasn't just scaring myself.
Overall, it's definitely recommended! 👍🏻
PPhoenixaGreat stay for its price. Good location near to the subway and many sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and new, nice swimming pool and sauna. The only little thing - there was never enough fresh towels, as the laundry won't deliver them on time (as we were told). So we had only a floor mat and 1 big towel in our bathroom when we arrived, and in 5 days of our stay - they were changed once upon request. The housekeepers promised to bring the other towels later, but it never happened.
XXiyuThe location is very convenient, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete but a bit old, the bath can stand in the bathtub, it is inconvenient, the breakfast is rich and the taste is not bad.
BBeagsGood size room (I was told that I had been upgraded free?), bed is quite firm. 2 extra pillows in the cupboard 👍 nice). Very friendly and helpful staff. But, the bathroom is tiny and cramped. The shower water pools at the rear of the shower cubicle and does not drain - ewww. The carpet was not flat and easily tripped over (how hard would it be to relay it FFS?). Breakfast was barely adequate. (pizza for breakfast??).
The location was pretty good - 10 minute walk to 2 different metro stations. If you are in Doha for the F1, it's ok because you won't be in the room much.
AAnonymous UserWe are very satisfied with our stay here in this hotel. Walking distance from Msherieb Metro Station. We had a comfortable stay and in very affordable price. ❤️ Looking forward to book again for our next staycation.
FFaseel ShabdeenWonder Palace Hotel, Doha
I stayed at this hotel but decided to leave due to two main issues:
1. Late Checkout Problem – They strictly ask guests to check out by 12 PM and do not allow even a 30-minute extension. This is not flexible or guest-friendly, especially for frequent travelers.
2. Parking Issue – The hotel does not provide valet parking. No driver or parking assistant is available during day or night. The hotel has only 27 parking spots in the B1 basement and around 6 in front of the building, which are usually full. So we are forced to park far away and walk back to the hotel – very inconvenient, especially with luggage or in hot weather.
Why can’t the hotel keep just two valet drivers – one for the daytime and one for night? This is a basic service that many hotels manage easily. If they really don’t have drivers, I’m happy to provide one from my own company.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their services for future guests.
AAli Ihsan DXBThis hotel is mediocre at best. Good things are that the rooms are large, breakfast is OK, location is very good. Bad things are that the hotel is old and not maintained in best condition. The shower pressure is fluctuating. It is not top clean, merely acceptable level. The furniture are old, you can see finger marks or scratches on them. Toilet seat has yellowed out with stains of old. You can notice the splotches of silicone in bathroom tiles, clear markers of cheap labor. Towels are coarse. Can say more but you get the picture. If you are a discerning traveler, you might be bothered with such details, though this feeling may be offset with the relatively low price of the hotel. Lastly, the hotel actually warns you about this and it bears notice that there are bars in the hotel and weekends being a lot of bachelor party-goers to the hotel at night.
YYuta_JimaNot bad with my booked room charges. But I found 2 small cockroaches in the room and only 1 set of amenities even thought additional ones were provided immediately once I requested. Front staff were friendly and ok.
