Great
TTravelling lotsA comfy room which was well cleaned and in an easy to reach location, just 5 minutes from a metro stop and right next to the nice national museum.
The staff were helpful and the food at breakfast was acceptable.
Overall I give four stars.
MMiss SoloHighly recommended for female solo traveller!
Staff were helpful, sweet and considerate. I emailed them beforehand for my situation : landed early morning, used next-day breakfast quota on the day i land, and hopefully an ultra early check in. And all wishes were granted! Hence i took a nice shower before breakfast and took a recovery nap in the afternoon.
Breakfast was awesome, with loads of variety and attentive services. Cozy and nice environment.
Location was perfect, only 8mins uber away from Museum of Islamic Art and Qatar National Museum.
Room was styled old-fashionably, clean and tidy with amenities on requests.
FFaseel ShabdeenWonder Palace Hotel, Doha
I stayed at this hotel but decided to leave due to two main issues:
1. Late Checkout Problem – They strictly ask guests to check out by 12 PM and do not allow even a 30-minute extension. This is not flexible or guest-friendly, especially for frequent travelers.
2. Parking Issue – The hotel does not provide valet parking. No driver or parking assistant is available during day or night. The hotel has only 27 parking spots in the B1 basement and around 6 in front of the building, which are usually full. So we are forced to park far away and walk back to the hotel – very inconvenient, especially with luggage or in hot weather.
Why can’t the hotel keep just two valet drivers – one for the daytime and one for night? This is a basic service that many hotels manage easily. If they really don’t have drivers, I’m happy to provide one from my own company.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their services for future guests.
GGuest UserI was doing a one-night stopover in Doha to break up the abominably long flight from Toronto to Bangkok, and selected this place for my crash pad. It fit the bill perfectly. Very warm welcome at the front desk when I had been on the go for 24 hours and was pretty brain dead, very close proximity to the souq market. Whenever I do an overnight in Doha I think that I should stay longer sometime. I'll probably stay here when I do.
Ssy8888Nice stay tho room seems to be a little worn out. Good amenities indoor pool and big gym! Bathtub nice too! Next to metro for the airport which is great.
Ddidou hbA slight mishap with airport pickup; the hotel taxi hadn't waited for me. However, they apologized, and I received a very warm welcome at the hotel. They were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and kind, and the room was cleaned impeccably every day. The breakfast was excellent, with a varied buffet. The hotel is close to the metro, the city center, Souq Watif, and Downtown Mshereib. Perfect for getting around at any time of day.
YYuta_JimaNot bad with my booked room charges. But I found 2 small cockroaches in the room and only 1 set of amenities even thought additional ones were provided immediately once I requested. Front staff were friendly and ok.
