Excellent
GGuest UserStayed for two nights.
Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.
GGuest UserA hip and trendy boutique hotel with great service â the staff are attentive and friendly. The property has a lovely library and a community kitchen, which adds a warm, social touch.
Since the hotel is very popular, it was fully booked when I stayed around New Year. Breakfast was separated into hourâlong time slots, and I chose the 9â10âŻa.m. slot â apparently the most popular one. The breakfast itself was nice, but unfortunately, the dining area was extremely crowded, and I couldnât get a seat during my designated time. The queue was long, so I ended up taking a takeaway box and eating in my room, without any beverage.
Although the space was packed, guests were generally polite and respectful â no pushing or food hoarding, which I truly appreciated. Still, the hotel should really consider expanding or reorganising the breakfast area, as the current setup feels quite inefficient.
GGuest UserI search recommended Tainan accommodation on a social media and Jai Hotel & Hostel ranked # 1. I saw good reviews including honest pictures on multiple platforms. Plus I received 50% discount from the booking platform, so I decided to give it a try. This is my only non-private room stay in my entire 2 weeks of vacation in Taiwan and the best hostel Iâve ever stayed in general. The bedding and pillow are good cotton fabric. Room, shower room are clean. I stayed in the female dorm. Room and shower room needs to use room key for access. They offer eye mask and 3M earplugs. I like the smart safe to keep the valuables. What surprised me is that self-serve afternoon tea and food are offered. Food is fresh and good quality. There is a 24h coin laundry next to the 24h 7-11 convenience store in the same building complex. You can check the laundry availability and program progress from your phone. I wish there would be more Hotel & Hostels like this in Taiwan.
GGuest UserThis hotel really added a bonus to my trip in Tainan. It was honestly comfortable till the stage when the day ended, we actually looked forward to return to the hotel (didnât feel like a hotel anymore, but more like going home)
The location is really good too. Itâs in a pretty open area surrounded by residential places, markets, and sports areas, so everything is quite convenient. Places like Shennong Street and other attractions are about a 15-18 minute walk away. The whole area is nice for city walks, just casually walking around also feels interesting.
The room itself is new, clean, and well designed. Bathroom has proper dry-wet separation feels really nice and relaxing. The bed is also super comfortable and clean (there was just a few tiny hole, but it didnât really affect anything)
Overall, the whole place has a really nice vibe. Good service, good room, good location, honestly very worth it for the price. My friend and I really liked it, and we didnât really want to leave when we checked out.
QQiguaiădechenxianshengThe service was great, and there's free coffee and biscuits on the first floor. It's right next to the Ten Drum Culture Park, which has an amazing band. It's also very close to the Chimei Museum. The view from the window was decent, and breakfast was good.
AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff were really friendly, polite, and always smiling! The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. I saw some comments about low water pressure, but it was actually fine, not too weak at all. I loved that the sink was outside the bathroom, which was really convenient! The location is also great, close to the station and quite central. We mostly took taxis, which were super cheap at around NT$85-100 for a few minutes' drive, saving us a lot of walking. Plus, the breakfast was pretty good; I tried both the Western and Japanese options, and I personally preferred the Japanese one! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tainan! ~(â§âœâŠ)/~
GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean, with excellent service and facilities. Breakfast was delicious and catered to a wide range of tastes. The beds were especially spacious and comfortable. Definitely worth the money plus a convenient location.
Nns-cDuring my stay, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel's location, surroundings, and in-house services. Overall, I had a pleasant time. First and foremost, the hotel's excellent location is noteworthy. A river flows right next to the building, and the pleasant breeze blowing across the water in the mornings and evenings allowed me to feel the presence of nature even while in the city. Simply strolling along the river gave me the sense of freedom that only a travel destination can offer, and it was a refreshing way to start my day.
The hotel's bicycle rental service was another particularly memorable feature of my stay. It allowed me to easily visit places a little further from the city center, significantly expanding my range of activities. During my stay, I cycled to nearby tourist attractions, cafes, and quiet residential areas, experiencing the everyday atmosphere of the area. Being able to easily visit places that were a little farther away on foot and explore the city at my own pace was extremely pleasant and enhanced the enjoyment of my trip.
The breakfast also far exceeded my expectations. The buffet offered a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and each one was carefully prepared. There was a wide variety of fresh vegetables, hot dishes, bread, and desserts, so there was enough variety to keep you from getting bored even if you stayed for several nights. The dishes made with local ingredients were particularly delicious, allowing you to experience the unique flavors of the region and feel a little luxurious from the morning.
As mentioned above, the hotel's location, the convenience of bicycle rentals, and the high-quality breakfast all combined to make this stay extremely satisfying. I feel that this is an inn that I can confidently recommend not only to tourists, but also to those who want to spend some relaxing time. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the opportunity.
CCHIN JUOur second family trip here was just as delightful as the first. The hotel's facilities were a huge hit with all ages, especially the outdoor adventure equipment, which was incredibly fun! The staff provided exceptional service, and the outdoor adventure instructors were particularly friendly and encouraging, helping us conquer our fears â a truly heartwarming experience. We highly recommend this place! The free admission to Tsengwen Reservoir was also a fantastic bonus. We'll definitely be back!
