A family oriented hotel so solo travelers might felt a bit ignored. Adding a coffee machine at the lobby would be very helpful.
They follow Japanese check in check out hours and also quite strict about it… I think that’s the biggest downside of the hotel. You will have to wait exactly after 3pm for the room and out in 11 even they are not full.
Otherwise the room and location is good, would recommend.

I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant.
First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge.
Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned.
Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef.
I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel

It's great. I will visit again. It's very comfortable and the environment is clean. Unfortunately, the pillows are too soft. The bed is very comfortable to lie on, not too soft and has good support. Unfortunately, the hotel location is far from the city.

The breakfast ingredients are fresh and delicious, the desserts are also very exquisite, and the service staff are friendly. It's very satisfying to drink the delicious beef soup. If two people sleep on the bed, it is more likely to vibrate and bounce when they turn over, which will have a slight impact, but it is quite comfortable to sleep in. The quilt is slightly thicker. But overall I like it very much and will give priority to staying here next time.

Room is a bit small. No place to hang clothes & towels, please improve.
Bath room is small, thus not necessary to have bathtub, difficult for elderly or person who have difficulty to go into the bathtub for shower.
Hair and body shampoo were in small packet, not sufficient during summer which require at least 2 times of shower. Hope to improve.

GGabrielle TengThe location is great as it is located to the restaurant and bars cluster. The facilities are clean, well equipped and relatively new. My only issue is with the desk staff, they were not friendly to start with, upon arrival (about 12pm) we were told to just park our luggage at a corner, no tags were assigned, no labelling, nothing. Then told to come back to do check-in at 3pm, they cannot any time earlier than that, so we left and came back at 3pm. At this point it was a female staff with bangs that helped us, I showed her the hotel booking email and she said she wants the Trip.com booking app page, I showed her and she said she wants to see the booking ID. I showed her that too and at this point she said ”read it out to me”. The booking ID was on my phone screen and she didn't even bother to see it, and wants me to READ IT ALOUD TO HER. Maybe she's dyslexic? I don't know. Then I added on one extra day of stay which did not reflect on the paper that she asked me to sign so I pointed that out and she double confirmed that it was printed wrongly. Fast forward a few days, all of our access cards were not able to work for our same rooms that we stayed, I assume it is because she did not grant the correct number of days upon check in, which also resulted in some inconvenience going to and fro the room and counter. And that same staff carried the same attitude when renewing the faulty access cards. Every morning the breakfast service staff was rude as well, like I owed her a million dollars or something, ”you which room? you sit here”. One morning she came to me ”how many people in your room? not 2 person?”, I stayed alone in a 3pax family room with no changes at all. I really dread breakfast everyday. When we checked out there was a new crew of desk staff which was much better in terms of attitude and service, it was the weekend team. I had 2 more weeks of stay in Tainan and I moved to another hotel. Overall I will not stay in this hotel ever again, other than the service, everything is great.

the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size
the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out..
i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too
location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene
oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate

This is suppose to be relaxing vacation spot. Don’t understand why they need so long to clean up the rooms. Front counter very strict with 11am check out.
It’s muddy water and not mud. As the location is middle of nowhere and the short stay hour, you are force to eat in the resort. The front counter will push you their set menu for 2 at TWD1380.
Swimming costume are a must to go to their public pool. So again you are forced to buy their ugly swimming costume at exorbitant price of TWD1080.

CCuipingThis time I stayed in a standard quadruple room. The room was as large as the space displayed in the photos of the website. The toilet was also very large. There was also a bathtub for children to play with water. The shower head was water pressure enough and the water temperature was stable. The cleanliness of the room is also as clean and odorless as netizens say. As for sound insulation, we lived on the 7th floor and did not encounter problems with poor sound insulation.
There are water dispensers, coffee machines, tables, chairs, and sofas in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel. It is convenient to have dinner with friends when you come back from outside. The parking lot is very close and the nearby life function is convenient.
Trip.com After booking, we have a plus hotel Line. It is very convenient to contact directly if you have any questions before check-in. If there is any problem during the stay, the counter staff will kindly reply. A very warm hotel, and I will want to live in Tainan next time.

GGuest UserThe hostel is located right next to the train station in a old style rooms. The rooms are big, airy and ventilated. The cleanliness is okay. it’s great place to stay for a night but if you are here for a travel, there are many other good hostels in the city. They have social night every day but hardly there will be people attending it and it depends on the crowd itself. The receptionist is good and answers my all queries but if doesn’t feel welcoming there, seems they are treating it as extra work to attend people. In fact the other receptionist was rude and even ignores customers questions. as compared to other stays in Tainan my experience isn’t that great

CCharles DarrochHotel and building was a little dated. Our room was overly basic in a state or repair. There was a terrible mould smell in the room which we did not like. The bathroom was nice and clean though. The location was pretty good too. Not too far from the station, close to the night market, and close to subways and bus routes. Definitely wouldn’t stay again and would look at paying a little more for a nicer hotel.
