Tainan Hotels with balcony

We stayed at Avon's Airbnb for three days and had a very pleasant experience. On our first day, Avon and her husband gave us a warm welcome, complete with delicious cake. Avon gave us tons of food recommendations based on our preferences, and we ended up trying over 20 local eateries in Tainan – we only wished we had bigger stomachs! The room was super clean and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. My husband even wanted to ask Avon where she bought the pillows because he slept so well (he's very particular about beds and pillows, and used to even bring his own when traveling, but Taiwan was too far for that). Getting around was also very convenient, with so many delicious local snacks nearby; three days just wasn't enough to try everything. We definitely want to stay in Tainan longer if we get the chance again. A big thank you to Avon and her husband! Just a small suggestion: a little stool by the door would make putting on shoes much easier when heading out.

A really cool location! We’ve appreciated our stay at Tainan in the 28 Loft. The apartment is clean, trendy and good equipped! The bed was good. For breakfast you can go to the local food court. There’s a Starbucks in walking distance for western breakfast.

Stayed for two nights. Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved. There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl. Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, only a video posted on Instagram. I stayed in room 204, a double room. 1. If you mind the bed facing the door, please consider this carefully. (There are back curtains blocking the view.) 2. The mini-fridge is very light; be careful not to move it too much. 3. There are two trash cans: one on the sofa and one next to it in the toilet. I asked if I could flush toilet paper down the toilet, and the guesthouse said the roll-top toilet paper in the bathroom is allowed. The trash cans are small, oval-shaped, as you can see in the picture. 4. If you run out of the roll-top toilet paper, there are supplies in the cabinet under the sink. There's one roll-top and one pull-out roll. 5. The bathroom uses a soft water system; there's a sticker next to the mirror explaining this. It's quite comfortable to shower with. (Mainly explaining that soft water has moisturizing effects and makes the lather richer.) The hairdryer is great. There's an indoor circulation system next to the sink mirror that you can press, such as ventilation and drying. This is very useful for people who have been experiencing heavy rain these past few days. (By the way, if your shoes get wet, you can tell the front desk you'd like to bring them up to dry.) The floor mat is on the bathroom shelf, and the bath towels are in the cabinet to the right of the sink. 6. There are one electrical outlet on each side of the bed, two next to the sink, and one next to the refrigerator. You basically won't have a problem with not having enough outlets. If you're tall enough, there are actually three more on the ceiling. 7. Opening the curtains from the bed doesn't offer much of a view; it's just a typical residential window view. 8. There are beer and beverage machines and candy/cookies on the first floor, but I didn't touch them, so I can't comment. I think there's a recreation room on the fourth floor? I didn't go up there either. 9. The elevator is small, a rectangular space.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and well equipped however the AC was very noisy with little possibility to adjust. Street noise was bad on one wing of the hotel, I had to request to be relocated to another side which the staff accommodated after some follow up and ”encouragement”. It was strange that after 9pm there was no drink or food available at any of the restaurants or bar. The reception staff was kind enough to extend our stay by 1h without additional charge.

Overall experience is great, I arrived early and the counter allowed me to keep my luggage before check-in. The only downside is the location towards public transport, you'll have to walk at least 10 minutes to any bus station. The view in front of the building is good for morning/evening walk along the riverside.

My husband and I had a delightful one-night stay at Justwin Grand Hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the staff were welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortably appointed with modern decor and high-quality amenities. The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and reliable Wi-Fi, were excellent. Breakfast was a highlight, with a diverse buffet and attentive service. The location was convenient, close to attractions and dining options. Overall, the hotel offered a great experience, and I would consider staying here again for a longer visit.

The environment here is excellent, with great natural light and soundproofing so you don't hear your neighbors. The shower is a rain shower, and the TV has access to major streaming platforms. After a week-long stay, the only inconvenience was that cleaning is only done once a week. For someone with a fast-paced work week who wants to relax in the south for a week, sleeping in and heading out around noon or in the afternoon, this can be a bit inconvenient. However, I understand it's for easier management and to not overwork the cleaning staff. The elevator takes a long time, and there were water stains in the kettle – I'm not sure if it was from air-drying or if the previous guest didn't clean it thoroughly. Everything else was fantastic! Great job maintaining such a wonderful environment. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip south.

Our second family trip here was just as delightful as the first. The hotel's facilities were a huge hit with all ages, especially the outdoor adventure equipment, which was incredibly fun! The staff provided exceptional service, and the outdoor adventure instructors were particularly friendly and encouraging, helping us conquer our fears – a truly heartwarming experience. We highly recommend this place! The free admission to Tsengwen Reservoir was also a fantastic bonus. We'll definitely be back!

Si Anping presents a sophisticated, boutique visual identity that aligns with Tainan’s modern creative wave. The establishment excels in geographic positioning and architectural design. The property is a high-utility base for historical research, situated within walking distance of Anping Old Fort and the canal. I am inspired by the minimalist aesthetic and clean lines provide an environment conducive to ”mental decompression” after navigating the sensory-rich streets of Anping. however， a significant design flaw exists in the bathroom facilities. The window blinds are insufficient to fully cover the shower window, creating a transparency issue where the interior is visible from the public park outside. This presents a challenge to the ”psychological comfort” and privacy of the guest. Laundry services are not handled in-house; the establishment relies entirely on external providers. This can adds a layer of logistical complexity for travelers on a multi-city itinerary.
