YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. 😙😙😙

TTravellingmaudeSeine House was a warm and comfortable place to stay, especially after being out in the cold. The staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly, and they went out of their way to prepare a vegetarian breakfast for us, which was much appreciated.
The rooms have a European Russian style decor with solid wooden furniture, giving the space a classic and cosy feel. The rooms were very clean with no noticeable dust, which made the stay even more comfortable. They are spacious, well heated, and felt like a real relief after long days outdoors. The bed was comfortable, there was a bathtub, and a humidifier was provided, which really helped with Harbin’s dry winter air.
The overall atmosphere is homey rather than hotel like. The location is very convenient, close to Central Street (Zhongyang Street) and Zhongshan Street, and also near the cable car that crosses the Songhua River to Sun Island.
It is worth noting that the hotel is officially non smoking throughout, but some guests did not follow the rules, and the smell occasionally drifted into the corridors and rooms. This was not due to the hotel’s policy, but rather guest behaviour.
Overall, Seine House offers spacious, clean rooms, thoughtful service, and a warm, character filled stay in a good Harbin location, with only minor discomfort caused by guests not observing the non smoking rules.

YYouchenglizhiThe room is spacious and very clean. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, including Guo Bao Rou (fried pork in sweet and sour sauce), frozen pears, and red sausages, all available right at breakfast, so there's no need to search for them elsewhere. The front desk service is excellent; they helped carry my luggage in right from the entrance. The washing machines and dryers in the laundry room are incredibly fast! The room facilities are also top-notch! The hotel's location is right next to Metro Line 3, just one or two stops away from Ice and Snow World, Sun Island, and Zhaolin Park, which is very convenient. The Songhua River is directly behind the hotel. It's lovely for an evening stroll, though it was quite cold. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend staying here. By the way, the Simmons bedding was incredibly comfortable. I truly felt at home.

MM35346****My stay at the Echarm Hotel Plus Harbin (Central Street Branch) was a fantastic surprise! I really appreciate the warm welcome from the front desk staff. Not only was the check-in process efficient and well-organized, but they also kindly upgraded our room for free. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The hotel's location is excellent, right on Central Street, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, making it an incredibly good value for money experience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Harbin!

__sallzxGreat location, close to Harbin Railway and the Subway entrance is across the road, please note that there is still a bit of walk to the main subway area but you are underground so wont be as cold during winter (walk across the road into the red brick building and follow sign downstairs to the station). Easy to catch Didi as they stop directly in front and rarely traffic blocking the area. There is also a bus stop at the front - I didnt get a chance to see where they take you but its directly across the road. We walked home from St Sophia’s Church one night and didnt find it too difficult (2 adults, no kids, quite fit) or too far. The hotel buffet breakfast is delicious and a few items do change to give you a taste of Harbin flavours. A chef also cooks noodle and wonton etc for you when you request it at the front. You add your own sauces though. Take a pic of the sign and point if you are unsure what they offer. The ladies at the front desk were also super lovely and helpful, however they dont speak english for non mandarin speakers. One of the pretty lady at the front desk helped me out when my husband was ill at 2am in the morning - and I will forever be super grateful as I was a little stressed. If you want to order *******, the robot delivers the item to your room. Overall experience was awesome and will definitely stay again.

AAnonymous UserService is so good here! Front desk staff was so warm and friendly and professional. The entrance only has steps so when we arrived, we took a few minutes trying to decide how to carry all our luggage up, but then some staff members came running out to help us carry it up! They helped us take our luggage to our room as well. It's in a prime location – right on Central Street, and easy walking distance to the metro station, shops, malls, restaurants, the Hongzhuan morning market and Saint Sophia's Church.
However, the rooms are VERY small. There's barely any walking space, especially if you have multiple suitcases. The front desk did warn us about this when we checked in and offered to show us different rooms to see which size suited us best, which we appreciated, but it's something to consider. There was also no heated toilet seat, which would have been nice during the Harbin winter 😔 The corridor and shower also smelled a bit strange. There's also only one lift, so sometimes you need to wait. I think this is a great budget hotel for people travelling light, and is a good option if you're staying in Harbin for the Ice and Snow Festival, because the location is perfect for sightseeing – just 2-3 stops away from the Ice and Snow Festival, and walking distance to shops where you can buy cheap winter clothes and food.

MM312603****We stayed here for a ski trip. Our butler contacted us a day in advance and picked us up as soon as we got off the high-speed train. We were able to check in around 10 AM, which I thought would be much later.
We had lunch on the hotel's first basement floor, and the food was exceptionally delicious and perfectly suited my Cantonese palate.
After skiing, we returned around 4 PM, and the butler brought us a humidifier and some fruit.
Any service we requested in the evening was delivered immediately after a phone call; the response time was incredible.
If it weren't for my teammate getting sick and needing to return to Harbin for treatment, we would have definitely stayed another night, especially since we still had a day trip to Snow Village planned.
When we left for the station, the butler even rode with us to see us off. They were so thoughtful and enthusiastic. Although the weather was cold, it warmed our hearts.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying here, and overall I was very satisfied. When I first arrived, I didn’t have high expectations since the lobby is not located on the ground floor. However, once I went up to the 4th floor, the lobby felt spacious and luxurious.
The check-in process was fairly standard, taking around 10 minutes. The staff had limited English skills, and there was no warm welcome as you might expect from a four-star hotel. However, since this is in China, this may simply be the local standard.
I stayed in a room for three people. The room was not very spacious, but still acceptable for three large suitcases. One strange thing was that only two towels were provided, and even until check-out, they were never replenished to three, despite the room being booked for three guests.
The room heater worked well. There was no bidet in the toilet, and the shower’s hot water was sometimes inconsistent, occasionally turning cold unexpectedly. The TV channels were limited to local Chinese channels only, and the TV was not a smart TV.
Breakfast was quite varied and tasted good. The location is excellent — about a 7-minute walk to Zhongyang Street, a 2-minute walk to Sophia Cathedral, around an 8-minute walk to the nearest metro station, and the hotel is directly connected to a mall next door, making it very convenient for shopping and visiting the supermarket for daily needs.
Overall, it’s a fairly good option. If I visit Harbin again, I would consider staying at this hotel again, especially considering the reasonable price for such a strategic location.

MM2ekmwhii****Extremely satisfied with my stay. It was my first time at this hotel for a business trip, and the front desk attendant (a young man) was incredibly helpful. He answered all my questions to my full satisfaction. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with a super comfortable bed. The soundproofing was excellent; once the door was closed, I couldn't hear a thing from outside. For this price point, the environment is definitely top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
