CChabuduoxiaojie_jingThe location is fantastic, making it easy to get to any attractions. The staff were also very welcoming and upgraded our room. However, on the first night, the room next door was incredibly noisy, which meant I didn't get much sleep. I contacted the front desk around 11 PM, and they quickly sent someone to help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the other guests were inconsiderate, so it remained noisy, which indicates the soundproofing isn't great. On the second day, after being upgraded to the 5th floor, things were much better. Even though people would talk in the hallway, it didn't affect our sleep at night. The hotel breakfast was also very generous and tasted excellent. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

You can definitely trust this place. The decor is clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very attentive.
Initially, I considered many guesthouses but they had so many issues, so I decided to go with E-Stay Hotel instead!
No strange smells, super clean, super clean, super clean!
Plus, the gym, laundry room, and tourist attractions are all nearby.

YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. đđđ

TTravellingmaudeSeine House was a warm and comfortable place to stay, especially after being out in the cold. The staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly, and they went out of their way to prepare a vegetarian breakfast for us, which was much appreciated.
The rooms have a European Russian style decor with solid wooden furniture, giving the space a classic and cosy feel. The rooms were very clean with no noticeable dust, which made the stay even more comfortable. They are spacious, well heated, and felt like a real relief after long days outdoors. The bed was comfortable, there was a bathtub, and a humidifier was provided, which really helped with Harbinâs dry winter air.
The overall atmosphere is homey rather than hotel like. The location is very convenient, close to Central Street (Zhongyang Street) and Zhongshan Street, and also near the cable car that crosses the Songhua River to Sun Island.
It is worth noting that the hotel is officially non smoking throughout, but some guests did not follow the rules, and the smell occasionally drifted into the corridors and rooms. This was not due to the hotelâs policy, but rather guest behaviour.
Overall, Seine House offers spacious, clean rooms, thoughtful service, and a warm, character filled stay in a good Harbin location, with only minor discomfort caused by guests not observing the non smoking rules.

MM312603****We stayed here for a ski trip. Our butler contacted us a day in advance and picked us up as soon as we got off the high-speed train. We were able to check in around 10 AM, which I thought would be much later.
We had lunch on the hotel's first basement floor, and the food was exceptionally delicious and perfectly suited my Cantonese palate.
After skiing, we returned around 4 PM, and the butler brought us a humidifier and some fruit.
Any service we requested in the evening was delivered immediately after a phone call; the response time was incredible.
If it weren't for my teammate getting sick and needing to return to Harbin for treatment, we would have definitely stayed another night, especially since we still had a day trip to Snow Village planned.
When we left for the station, the butler even rode with us to see us off. They were so thoughtful and enthusiastic. Although the weather was cold, it warmed our hearts.

Hotel was well maintained, clean, comfortable and near the many sceneries. The snacks and free drinks added to the thoughtfulness. Breakfast was yummy.
Very friendly service and allowing for late checkout.
Harbin winter was pricier than off season.

We booked a three-night stay at the hotel and left our luggage there before departure. In the early cold winter morning at 6:30 a.m., we walked about two minutes to Harbin Railway Station to catch the train to Yabulixi and Xuexiang.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although my Chinese is not good, they did their best to support us throughout our stay.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying here, and overall I was very satisfied. When I first arrived, I didnât have high expectations since the lobby is not located on the ground floor. However, once I went up to the 4th floor, the lobby felt spacious and luxurious.
The check-in process was fairly standard, taking around 10 minutes. The staff had limited English skills, and there was no warm welcome as you might expect from a four-star hotel. However, since this is in China, this may simply be the local standard.
I stayed in a room for three people. The room was not very spacious, but still acceptable for three large suitcases. One strange thing was that only two towels were provided, and even until check-out, they were never replenished to three, despite the room being booked for three guests.
The room heater worked well. There was no bidet in the toilet, and the showerâs hot water was sometimes inconsistent, occasionally turning cold unexpectedly. The TV channels were limited to local Chinese channels only, and the TV was not a smart TV.
Breakfast was quite varied and tasted good. The location is excellent â about a 7-minute walk to Zhongyang Street, a 2-minute walk to Sophia Cathedral, around an 8-minute walk to the nearest metro station, and the hotel is directly connected to a mall next door, making it very convenient for shopping and visiting the supermarket for daily needs.
Overall, itâs a fairly good option. If I visit Harbin again, I would consider staying at this hotel again, especially considering the reasonable price for such a strategic location.

Zzhengying****The room was splendid, though the cleanliness in certain details was just okay. Sun Island is a fun place to explore. The cable car isn't cheap, and the ferry service is often suspended. Even if you're lucky enough to catch a ferry, you'll likely face a long queue. Getting on and off the island involves heavy traffic and driving restrictions. Taxis are hard to come by and require a long wait. Overall, transportation isn't very convenient, and dining options are limited. You can order takeout from off the island. The air on the island is fantastic, truly a natural oxygen bar, but it gets very crowded during the day.

The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck â a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable âViscount Interior Room.â The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside â a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the âChocolate Castleâ theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
