Guest UserThis stay completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located in a distinctive neighborhood, and the Chinese Baroque architecture creates an immersive, retro atmosphere. They even offer a cheongsam try-on experience, so every photo you take looks professional. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft, and the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, and the water purification system provided peace of mind, with stable hot water and good pressure. The entire room had smart controls for lighting and curtains, and the rotatable TV mount was a thoughtful touch. The soundproofing was excellent, as I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all incredibly kind and attentive. The breakfast, served in a beautiful nine-grid presentation, was exquisite and delicious. The location offers convenient transportation, making it perfect for both tourists and short stays. I've already recommended it to friends, and it will definitely be my top choice for my next visit!

ChihewanledexiaoazhengNobody told me about the complimentary late-night congee or the Song Dynasty aesthetic dress-up experience. I don't know if they're actually offered, but I certainly didn't get to try them, so I can't comment.
The double afternoon tea buffet is served in the lobby from 2 PM to 4 PM, for anyone wondering.
Cleanliness: This was really poor. There were eggshells, and hair under the pillow. The duvet upstairs also had eyelashes on it. Although they politely cleaned it up, it was still a bit off-putting.
Location-wise, it's really not far from Central Street, which is great!
Facilities: The bathroom door is really awkward. My child pushed it open once and someone inside got hit in the head, which hurt a lot.
But the biggest issue has to be the laundry room! Can't there be a set time for using it? People shouldn't be doing laundry at 11 or 12 at night. We ran into some inconsiderate guests who were really loud, shouting even after the front desk repeatedly reminded them.
Finally, thanks for the room upgrade, though it ended up being right opposite the laundry room. I didn't sleep well at all. They did send earplugs later, but they rang the doorbell, which was a bit inconvenient. They could have just messaged me through the app, as no reply would mean I was asleep. Thanks anyway, and I hope your hotel gets better and better!

PHANG ENG HUEIThe overall experience at Deluxe Hotel was elegant and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, the bedding soft and clean, and the service professional and attentive, making for a very pleasant stay. The dining options were varied and delicious, and the environment was quiet and convenient, suitable for both business and leisure. The only downsides were the high price and the need to book some facilities in advance. Overall, I recommend it; it's worth experiencing.

The hotel's decor style is very new and different from the older Holiday Inn Express, perhaps they've updated their product line. The front desk lady quietly upgraded our room type, and the room was very characteristic of Northeast China, haha. It's spacious and very clean, with not a single water stain on the faucets or showerhead, which made my OCD very happy. It's a shame we had to switch hotels later to go elsewhere, otherwise, I would have definitely stayed here longer. Breakfast was also very rich. Thumbs up!

Okay, first, let me share a few thoughts. The service here is exceptionally good. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. When I first arrived, there was one attendant who was just so lovely and enthusiastic. Secondly, the location is really convenient, as it's close to Central Street, making it easy to get around. My third point, and something that really adds to its value for money, is that it has a bathtub. You can actually take a bath, which is a real advantage compared to other hotels in the same price range. Now, for the downsides: I think the soundproofing needs improvement. Also, the gym isn't fully equipped, so we couldn't really work out. And thirdly, the restaurant is a bit small and cramped, though I suppose that's because the hotel itself is quite compact.

Guest UserI was truly impressed! I arrived at 1 AM, and the front desk staff was incredibly patient. The breakfast was delicious and the place was very clean. No strange smells from the bed or bathroom. Plus, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, with the toilet and shower in separate cubicles, which was really convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin. It's also super close to Central Street!

Guest UserConveniently located with excellent service, this hotel is my top choice for travel. It's right next to Saint Sophia Cathedral, and you can easily walk to Central Street. Daokou Market is only about 100 meters away. You can also take bus 83 from just outside the hotel for two stops to reach the famous Harbin网红 Railway Bridge. The best part is the amazing service; the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The concierge on the first floor even proactively offered to help us with our luggage. Harbin is wonderful, and I'll definitely be back!

Great location with a spacious parking lot. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating the change. The hotel is right next to a ski resort, and they even offered free skiing passes for the whole family, which was a nice bonus!

Guest UserWhat's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
