Location! Metro Line3 just cross the road , less than 100m.
5 stars service, super clean. Room cleaner did good job. The porter(Geoff) helped my son take our luggage to the lift of the Metro, very helpful.
Facilities are good, my son likes the gym and pool table. The staff(Tina) of third floor introduced the facilities for us when we first got to the floor. Also she reminded us to wear more if we want to go Ice
and Snow World, very friendly.
Good breakfast, all staffs are professional.
Special recommend-frozen pear if you like iced espresso.

Book a family room with 2x single and 1x queen bed. Room size is small considering this is a family room type. However, the hotel make up for its great location, just across the central walking street. Since the weather is extremely cold during the winter, getting a hotel right next to the walking street is an ideal consideration.

This hotel was in a great location! We were close to Sophia Church, Zhongyang pedestrian street, and within walkable distance of a park and the Songhua River. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but I found things to eat each morning, and they changed up some of the dishes served, which was nice. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. However, I want to give a special shoutout to 王颖. I spoke with her before arriving in Harbin to let her know that our flight arrived late at night. Through WeChat (my Chinese is not good), she helped me schedule a car and helped me work with a robot that delivers food to your room, plus a list of other things. 🤭 I found out she was often helpful when she wasn't on duty, which she did not have to do. I am so thankful for the kindness shown by 王颖. I will tell my friends to stay at this hotel when visiting Harbin!

The hotel is new, hence the room is good. The toilet seat has heater so it’s warm. The location is good too, near Sophia church. However there might be some traffic jam during peak hours since it’s near to tourist attractions. Do note that it’s useless to on the do not disturb light as they will still come in anyway

My brother and I loved our stay at Qiuguo hotel! The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. It was also very near to a metro stop, and in an area with many delicious restaurants. Service was also fantastic, and the staff even helped us find a nearby doctor when my brother became sick (always scary while traveling internationally)!
The only con was that the cell service and wifi in our rooms was sometimes not strong, but this was intermittent and when we ran into challenges we just came down to the lobby and all was fine there. Would highly recommend this hotel!

I had booked two triple rooms and one double room for my stay, and to my pleasant surprise, both the double room and one of the triple rooms were upgraded to the Level 5 suites at no extra charge. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and exuded a cozy yet luxurious feel. The upgraded triple room was particularly impressive—it was a family suite, thoughtfully decorated with adorable duckling-themed decor that added a playful and charming touch, making it perfect for families or anyone traveling with children.
One of the standout features for me was the quality of the toiletries. The conditioner in particular was fantastic—it left my hair feeling incredibly smooth and soft, which is something I rarely find in hotel products. It was my first time to come to Harbin. I didn’t see the hotel I booked clearly. I thought it was just an ordinary B&B-like hotel. I thought I would change it if it didn’t work. I stayed there with the mentality of staying one night and giving it a try. I didn’t expect that the room environment and facilities were so poor. It's great. There are no overcharged items and free afternoon tea. I contacted the service staff later and found that they were very attentive in every aspect and made me feel at home. Finally, I would like to express my special thanks to the HR. They were very enthusiastic and answered any questions quickly. After solving the problem, I felt the meticulous service. I will choose here again next time I come to Harbin.

Very nice rooms and good breakfast. Location a little in the middle of new town construction sites. The mall 10 mins walk away is great for shopping and restaurants. The hotel restaurant only offered breakfast but it was ok to order deliveries in. Hotel is slightly weird in that it’s also seems to be a neo natal staycation hotel with many nurses and families members hanging out in corridors at all times of night. Main issue with the rooms was that they were 28 degrees C and there was no way to cool them down slightly to be able to sleep well. Opening the windows didn’t help and the hotel aircon was understandably set to heating the room - maybe something they can think about. Nice hotel and a good stay- just didn’t sleep well.

YYburnnavoyagesMy friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Grand Mercure hotel in Harbin, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, I was struck by the spotlessly clean surroundings and the comfortable feeling that enveloped us. The high ceiling added a touch of grandeur to the ambiance, making it feel a luxury 5-star accommodation, all at a budget-friendly price.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the comfortable bed and fresh linens. I had the best sleep and woke up feeling refreshed, as if I had slept like a baby. The attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable sleep experience was truly commendable.
The hotel staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. Despite some language barriers, they went above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed and provide accurate information. I vividly remember ALAN CHEN or Chan, although I'm unsure of the exact spelling of his name. He was always attentive to our concerns and questions, taking the time to communicate and ensure we received the correct directions. Their dedication and willingness to assist made a lasting impression on me.
In terms of location, the hotel was conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easily accessible from the airport which is around 45mins or less.
The ride took less than 10 minutes to reach the high-speed railway station from the hotel. However, I must mention that there weren't many convenient shops in the immediate vicinity, which might be a minor inconvenience for some travelers.
Our only issue during our stay was the room temperature, which was quite warm. Despite adjusting the thermostat, we couldn't achieve a comfortable coolness. We resorted to opening the window slightly to let in some fresh air, but leaving it open throughout the night posed the risk of catching a cold. It would be highly beneficial if the hotel could consider providing a humidifier, as the air in the room felt excessively dry.
Overall, my stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The cleanliness of the hotel, the exceptional staff, and the convenient location all contributed to a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Harbin and would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit. The management may want to look into improving the room temperature control and addressing the dryness in the air to ensure an even more pleasant stay for future guests.

SStacy SohAfter taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village.
Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀
They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries.
Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear.
Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time.
Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu.
Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam.
Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼

Ms. Tong Tong, the tour arranger, proved to be extremely helpful in organizing a private car for our city tour. She ensured that our preferences were taken into account and made valuable suggestions for places to explore.
Professional and Polite Driver: Our driver for the city tour, Mr. Gwu MiAn, was exceptional in his professionalism and attentiveness. He took us to the places we wanted to visit and made sure we were comfortable throughout the journey. His kind and polite demeanor, coupled with his provision of water to keep us hydrated, added an extra level of comfort to our city tour.

The spacious rooms, clean bathroom, helpful check-in staff, convenient location, inclusion of breakfast buffet and afternoon tea with decent selections, and the attentive restaurant staff all contributed to a positive experience. HHaiqal NohXin Yuhang, the employee that works in Sun Castle Resort Hotel is really nice, helpful and friendly, helps us with the difficulties we had throughout our stay there. Because of our language barriers , he was patience to translate it to us and despite the crowd that kept coming in and making him busy, he handle one by one with class, professionalism, and each person's help. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel and holiday in Harbin. Thank you so much for making our stay a great one. We'll rate this 10/10

JjinnianI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The facilities are top-notch, the environment is elegant, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, what impressed me the most was the service from the staff, especially Assistant Cheung. His service was impeccable, always with a smile and very attentive to our needs. Whether it was checking us in, offering local travel advice, or addressing our various needs, Cheung was always professional and enthusiastic. Thanks to Assistant Cheung, our stay was exceptionally pleasant! Highly recommend this hotel, and we will definitely choose it again next time.

YYingshuiyirenCome to the popular city in winter to experience the cold weather of minus 20 degrees Celsius. Choose a location close to the main popular attractions. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Hagia Sophia and close to the city museum. There are many restaurants around. There is a pharmacy on the left side of the hotel. Communicate with the front desk. The tea bags were not given the next day, and two bags were delivered immediately. The check-out procedure was simple.

XXiaohuanThe villa we booked is in a very good location. Manager Wang is a very nice person. He provides pick-up and drop-off services wherever we go. On the day we returned, it was not yet time for the high-speed train, and he even sent us to other places to play. We asked him to book tickets and the chartered car service was perfect.

IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed.
On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee.
One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.
