Stayed at lyf Malate Manila for a night and it exceeded expectations in the heart of Malate’s buzzing scene. The location on Malvar corner Vasquez Street is unbeatable—steps from Robinsons Place Manila mall for food courts, shops, and easy access to Rizal Park, Manila Bay Beach, and the LRT.

I recently stayed at City Garden Suites and would like to share both a commendation and some constructive feedback regarding my experience. First, I would like to highly commend Ms. Zsan for her outstanding service. After being assigned to a room that, while clean, had an unpleasant odor, I approached the front desk again for assistance. Ms. Zsan handled the situation with genuine care and professionalism. She went beyond simply checking the system—she actively coordinated with housekeeping via radio to personally verify room availability. Her initiative, attentiveness, and willingness to help truly define excellent customer service. She made us feel heard and valued, and her dedication reflects the kind of frontline service that leaves a lasting positive impression. On the other hand, I would like to offer constructive feedback regarding my experience with Ms. Acel. As a guest, first impressions matter, and my initial interaction with her during check-in was not very reassuring. When I inquired about the possibility of being assigned to a newly renovated room, I was informed that none were available, without much effort to further check or explore options. This gave me the impression that my request was not fully considered. The following day, when I needed to extend my stay, I spoke with her over the phone and requested an update regarding my concern, emphasizing the urgency as I needed to secure the current room rate online. However, after waiting for around 30 minutes without any callback, I had to follow up myself. During the follow-up, she asked for details I had already communicated earlier, which made it seem like the information was not properly noted or attended to. On the third day, I needed to extend my booking again. To avoid the same experience, I went directly to the front desk. Unfortunately, she was again the one available. Despite my previous experience, I still chose to give her another chance, hoping for a better interaction. However, the experience remained the same. Because of this, instead of extending my stay further, I decided to transfer to another hotel. I hope this feedback is received constructively. Frontline staff play a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. While Ms. Zsan demonstrated exceptional service and professionalism, there is an opportunity for improvement in consistency, attentiveness, and proactive assistance. With the right focus on these areas, guest satisfaction can be greatly enhanced.

It was really ok. They even let us checked in early since the room is ready. Unfortunately the cleanliness is really bad. As you can see in the picture. The toilet needs deep cleaning or needs to be resilicon. I am working also in housekeeping. Im making this review for the sake of the establishment, i want to let them know that they can do better. Thank you for the reception for doing a job well done, they replied in whatsapp when i sent this photo and said the staff will check on it. We stayed 3 nights but it was never checked. It’s not the fault of reception, this time it’s housekeeping (if reception forwarded the info to hk). I was planning to extend for another 3 nights but because of this i moved to other hotel (which is not ”kawalan” for them 😅). Currently i am booked to other hotel (i just checked out few hours ago). I did not took picture with the other parts..just more brushing can do sana. I almost brushed the molds but i remember im on vacation and needs to enjoy. 😅

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions and restaurants. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would gladly stay here again.

I had a short layover due to connection flight ✈️ Manila to London. The second time I stayed here, I really enjoyed the hospitality and the ability to check in at 8pm. I had breakfast the first time I stayed here, I would have liked to try breakfast again. Friendly, helpful hotel staff, clean and vibrant hotel with a pool, location was 20 minute taxi ride to terminal 1 Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Fantastic will come back again. My stay at Manila Lotus Hotel was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is very convenient, especially for travelers who want easy access to key spots around Manila like the US Embassy - 10mins walk. It’s close to restaurants, shopping areas, and tourist attractions, making it a great base for exploring the city. The room was clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere after a long day out. It felt safe and comfortable, which is something I truly value when traveling. Overall, Manila Lotus Hotel offers great value for money with its excellent service, strategic location, and cozy accommodations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Manila and would gladly stay here again.

Stayed at Anex Hotel Manila because of its convenient location near the Embassy of the United States of America in Manila. The room was spacious and comfortable in terms of size, which I appreciated. However, cleanliness could definitely be improved. The rug and shower curtain had visible stains, and the floor looked dirty during our stay. I also encountered a cockroach in the hallway, which was disappointing. Basic amenities such as slippers and a dental kit were only provided upon request. Overall, the location is very practical, especially for embassy-related appointments, but housekeeping and maintenance need improvement.

Although the staff are nice and polite, it cannot hide and disregard the importance of cleanliness inside the room. I was from a long flight & I had my medical check up also knowing that I am pregnant I find it alarming tgat by the timw I arrive it was not properly cleaned. Even if the hotel is not new, the cleanliness should be prioritized and there are chemicals for stains etc. These pictures are taken JUST THE TIME I HAVE ARRIVED and it makws me sad. I stayed here befoee but its not this worst.. I’ve been staying to different hotels just sadly they are fully booked so I picked Go hotels but I must say I’m disappointed & I am afraid to come back again Also the sheets are already stained I am paranoid it was not washed properly I myself work in a ship for catering that’s why I am aware that these things can be avoided or corrected Bur kudos for respecful staff the way they greet and talk.. I also told frontdesk the other room beside me was noisy & politely ask for help to tell that I can’t sleep. I have to wake up 3am to prepare for my medical & I even extended my stay but things are the same the cleanliness really needs to be taken seriously

No cleaning service everyday, the room is good but a little disturbing from outside sound (sing and dance) Otherwise it good

So, i came to manila alone. Hoping to have a good time. Spent 28 days in this hotel and explored the surronunding areas. By the end of the trip i met my babae and we where having a good time. Long story short... the hotel was well worth the money, as the view was great and my girl got pregnant. So, its a lucky room i guess too. You pay for all the amenaties. That was one down point but other than that it was fine and i had good nights/late night fun.. come and try it for yourself.
