I visited Changbai Mountain during the Qingming holiday, and even though the scenic area was closed, I still felt incredibly happy. I had the rare opportunity to see 'tree hangings' (rime ice) in spring – tall and short, decorating the entire street like a silver wonderland, but without the biting cold of winter. What I was most satisfied with was my accommodation experience in Changbai Mountain this time. Having stayed in many hotels, I wanted to try out a guesthouse. After searching online, I finally chose 'Alice'. My friends all said the hostess was super enthusiastic, the service was excellent, she replied to messages instantly, and the place was clean and hygienic. All the disposable amenities you could need were provided, and they even prepared slippers, toothbrushes, and toiletries for kids – truly thoughtful! When I checked in, I saw it firsthand, and it was absolutely true, living up to its reputation! I'll leave some regrets to ensure I have a reason to return to Changbai Mountain, and I'll definitely stay at Alice again!

The actual living environment is what you see in the picture. Overall, I am very satisfied. One bedroom, one living room and one bathroom. The bathroom and wardrobe have no smell, and the facilities are relatively new. In winter, I brought my baby to play in the snow. I stayed for three nights in a row. The price is relatively affordable. The service was particularly good. I contacted me on the phone two days before departure and added WeChat to inform me of the precautions. The picture I uploaded was taken before I left.

Hotel very big space with 3 bed rooms and living room and kitchen, it’s one floor for us and can stay less than 10 people. Good location and facilities. Special the owner very helpful and good arrangement for our leisure traveler. Free pick up from train station 🚉 as well. The location very good as well, it close to Changbaishan center and Er Dao Bai He as well. I would like to recommend to my friends or family and would like to stay again next time.

One of the best accommodation on this trip. Host is very approachable and was giving out tips even before I arrived. I didn't expect the pick up service that was provided. 😊 The apartment was amazing. Very clean with all amenities needed. In winter, the heater worked so well we were all sweating in the house. 😂 Location was great. Short walk to the food street where there were many many restaurants to choose from and walkable from Enduri as well as the main town strip. But I have to quantify that my family walks alot and 3km is not far to us. 😬 I would definitely choose one of this hosts apartment again when I come up to Erdao and I definitely will since I missed seeing 天池.

Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful. There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead. Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming. We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch. There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful. What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back

This stay exceeded my expectations and deserves a rave review! They arranged pick-up from the high-speed rail station, and as soon as I dropped off my luggage, they served me frozen pears. The courtyard was clean and elegant, with a tranquil and comfortable environment. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. I especially want to commend the driver the guesthouse arranged. He was incredibly kind, drove smoothly, provided attentive service, and was patient. He even helped us plan our route and explained the local culture. The biggest surprise was the local food he recommended – all authentic hidden gems, with genuine flavors and generous portions. Absolutely no disappointments; much better than those trendy restaurants. The owner was warm and attentive, always ready to help. The whole experience felt like being at home. Perfect for a vacation or a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again next time!

The landlady is very kind, helpful, approachable, enthusiastic and patient. She helped me to arrange all the transportation during my whole journey there at a reasonable price. She replied all my queries promptly and patiently via wechat. If you are a foreign tourist without a local phone number, you can still contact her through WeChat by adding her contact number, which is her wechat contact ID . There are some restaurants and supermarkets nearby which is very convenient . The room is very spacious and bright with well-equipped facilities, and the surrounding environment is quiet, clean, hygienic and tidy. Highly recommended!!

I genuinely want to thank the owner and staff of this guesthouse; our stay this time was truly satisfying. The auntie was especially kind and warm-hearted. From the moment we arrived, she constantly checked in on us, asking if we were comfortable, if we were cold, or if we needed any help. It truly felt like family taking care of us, making us feel safe and warm in an unfamiliar place. We were a group of four and stayed in the 'Tianchi Room.' Each room is named after a scenic spot in Changbai Mountain, which is a thoughtful and unique touch. The room was clean, spacious, and warm. Being able to return to such a comfortable room in sub-zero weather was truly wonderful. There are also many delicious restaurants and local specialty shops nearby, and the location is close to the North Slope attractions, making travel very convenient. What touched me the most was their attentive service. As it was our first time in Changbai Mountain, we had many questions, but as long as we messaged the owner on WeChat, he patiently helped us with everything – arranging ski tickets, airport transfers, transportation advice, and more. We could ask about anything, which saved us a lot of hassle and made us feel well taken care of. This place truly warmed my heart. If you're a group of female friends traveling together, I highly recommend this place. The environment is safe, and you'll feel very at ease staying here. Overall, this was a very personal and warm accommodation experience, and it's one of my top favorite places. If I ever come back to Changbai Mountain, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

I was impressed by the super fast response host and attentive service. Very friendly host and help me arrange for all the transport! The room was large, clean, and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, very highly recommended, and will surely come back again.

Clean. Basic facilities. The single room is indeed as shown in the ad picture, with a low sloping ceiling (be careful of your head). The heating in the room is good winter. The mattress is a little too thin though. The supermarket behind the hostel has a variety of fresh fruits. There are many eateries within walking distance. Most of the supposedly scenic spots (wetland/ park etc) are all covered with ice during my visit.
