This guesthouse is an absolute delight! The host is so welcoming and generous and went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and fantastic stay. We are Chinese speaking foreigners, but the host had downloaded translation apps just in case. The breakfast was lovely and he made every effort to make us at home, including by picking us up from the airport and helping us arrange our itinerary. The guesthouse is in a convenient location to the North Entrance of Changbaishan (a seven minute walk) but away from the touristy hustle and bustle. It is nestled by a serene stream and surrounded by a forest, which is perfect respite from big city China. The homestay we chose for this vacation is absolutely amazing! The environment of the B&B is very beautiful, high-end and tasteful, and the proprietress has good aesthetic taste. When we arrived, enthusiastic staff were already waiting at the door, helping us with our luggage with a smile. The check-in process was efficient and considerate. After getting the room card and walking into the room, the snow scene outside the window instantly caught my eye, it was so beautiful! The interior decoration of the room is simple yet stylish. The wooden furniture exudes softness and comfort, the bed is clean and tidy, and every detail reveals the pursuit of quality. The service throughout the whole process was very considerate and attentive. There was also goodnight sweet soup every night. I really loved their apple juice, which had a floral scent and tasted sweet. There are bonfires and fireworks to watch every night, and guests can also bring their own fireworks to play with. We were afraid that we wouldn't have enough time to go to the attractions, so the lady boss asked the driver to take us there. Because we didn't have enough equipment for this trip and it was freezing cold, the lady boss even lent me her coat for the whole day. It was so heartwarming☺️ What surprised me the most was that it was my birthday that day, and the lady boss also prepared a little surprise, a cake and a handwritten card. I was so touched. I read the good reviews in the reviews and believed them to be true. In fact, a B&B is just a B&B. The price is more expensive than a hotel, and the service is not even half of that of a hotel! On the day we checked in, we went in in the heavy rain. There was a boy at the front desk sitting and eating like no one else, as if we didn't exist. We asked him to check in, and he got up reluctantly. There was no WiFi in the room, and it couldn't be connected even if it was available. , watching the projector is a mess. In fact, the projector used in B&Bs is the worst. I don’t want to spend money to buy a TV and spend a little money to buy a few channels. The projection is not clear during the day, and the effect of the projection at night is not as good as the TV! I got the job at this price. When I went out during the day, I asked the waiter to put two more bottles of water. He also said that each room only has two bottles of water per day. I fainted! I booked for 4 days and stayed for one day before canceling. I moved to a hotel next door which was very cheap and the service was good! It is useless for the boss to come out and make amends afterwards. It is more useful if you do things well and improve the quality of your service staff than to make amends afterwards!

Eating: take-out is beyond the scope, and there is a vending machine in the lobby. The hotel has its own restaurant, breakfast buffet, soup and rice for dinner, and you can order a la carte in the restaurant. Environment: The sound insulation is slightly poor, especially the voices of children in the corridor. This hotel have spacious service apartments, rooms are big, clean, hotel staff is always helpful. 10 min car ride from chang bai shan railway station. Issues I faced : there is a huge taxi shortage in the city during the peak tourist season, one days even i had to walk 3.3 kilometres in - 15 degrees temperatures to reach to downtown , DIDI and T3 service works here but taxi waiting is normally 40 min to 1 hour long. As a forigner the Hotel location was little odd for me and lots of precious time wasted in taxi waiting, breakfast location is 300 metres far from room, which was not convenient as me and family didn't want to walk in - 20 degree temperature to eat breakfast, I stayed 5 days, but only 2 days I dare to go for breakfast. For stay this place is so good, so clean, warm.
