YYagithecorgiLove this hotel! Thank you Ms. Xinxin for arranging everything for us. Even though, the staff cannot speak English much but they are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is various choice. The room is warm and well-decorated. The hot spring is just amazing, they have both indoor and outdoor. The entance to Changbaishan mountain park is nearby the hotel.

MM220195****Extremely, extremely, extremely satisfied!! Exceeded my expectations! Booking a room sometimes feels like opening a mystery box, and this one was a huge success, hahaha. The room was SO! BIG! Very clean, and the decor was exactly to my taste.
There's a small balcony in the room with a great view.
They offer pick-up and drop-off service if you book in advance! The moment the driver picks you up, you're free! They'll even carry your luggage all the way to your room!!
The staff at the front desk, both the guys and the ladies, were super nice!! The driver was also incredibly kind!! The service truly is top-notch!
Oh, and the breakfast! A must-try!

They'll take care of everything for you, but make sure to contact the hotel in advance – and I mean *definitely* in advance. You can ask your butler for recommendations on local attractions, how to get there, how to buy tickets, and even how to hail a taxi. They also offer free train station pick-up and drop-off to the scenic area entrance, free skiing, and free hot spring access. If you need a car temporarily, they can arrange one for you (at your own expense), so no worries at all. And the hot springs – you *must* go! Their hot springs are natural and located right within the scenic area. Soaking in the hot springs while it's snowing is truly wonderful. If you avoid weekends and holidays, it's not even crowded.

CChangyousifangThis Mercure hotel (Huazhu Group) is excellent. It's very new and all areas of the hotel look comfortable. The front desk staff were all enthusiastic and diligent, recommending local delicacies and specialty shops. The lobby has a unique design with artistic flair (the murals are copyrighted), offering coffee, tea bags, and ginseng-infused water. Breakfast was also very good, with ample variety and quantity, and featured local specialties like rice sausage, beef soup with rice, Korean side dishes, and thin pancakes, and the baked sweet potatoes were delicious. The hotel is not in the town center, which is perfect as it's quiet and has a large parking lot, ideal for self-driving. We stayed for several days, waiting for suitable weather to go up the mountain. In town, we enjoyed the autumn scenery by the Erdao River, had iron pot stewed fish and ginseng chicken soup, both perfect for the cooler weather. Next time we visit, we'll try a different season and would happily stay here again.

EEnceladus2The room was a good size, and the bed was clean and tidy. The bathroom toilet was smart, which was a big plus. There was a slight leak in the bathroom, the cause of which is unknown. The hotel is investigating.
The owner and his family were very kind. The father drove to the train station to pick us up, and the mother recommended nearby restaurants and other places.
The reception is on the second floor, and the accommodation is on the third. Although there's no elevator, the owner helped with luggage. All the thoughtful services were excellent. A very good experience.

SSH.1The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel.
Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff
during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel.
Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts.
Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!!
Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen.
Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea.
In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb!
I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too!
The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team!
They gave us more than we could ever imagined from services to food to hospitality. Thank you for giving us an amazing and memorable stay! Overall it was a great and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend everyone to visit them and feel their positive energy. Certainly can't wait for our next visit to Chang Bai Shan again!!!

10 min car ride from chang bai shan railway station.
Issues I faced : there is a huge taxi shortage in the city during the peak tourist season, one days even i had to walk 3.3 kilometres in - 15 degrees temperatures to reach to downtown , DIDI and T3 service works here but taxi waiting is normally 40 min to 1 hour long.
As a forigner the Hotel location was little odd for me and lots of precious time wasted in taxi waiting, breakfast location is 300 metres far from room, which was not convenient as me and family didn't want to walk in - 20 degree temperature to eat breakfast, I stayed 5 days, but only 2 days I dare to go for breakfast.
For stay this place is so good, so clean, warm. If you have your car, then no issue at all.

住宿方面，这个地方非常好，非常干净、温暖。如果您有车，那就完全没有问题。

The transportation is also convenient, with the Meiren Song Scenic Area right across the street, and it's not far from the Rime Rafting. It's a 10-minute taxi ride to the Edelweiss Camp, which has a small reindeer park. The entrance fee is cheap and includes a portion of food to feed the elk and sika deer. There's a snowman at the hotel entrance, and I don't know who built it, but it's wearing a scarf and a hat – very pretty! Overall, it offers good value for money.

The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. The environment is exquisite and comfortable, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice, especially the front desk lady. During the 817 Rice Festival, it was impossible to find a taxi, so the hotel even arranged a car to pick us up.
