Hotels in Cotai,Macau
Beautifully blending East and West designs, the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau is located in Cotai, close to the East Asian Games Dome and enjoying convenient access to Macau’s new Light Rapid Transit (LRT) line, which connect guests to the Airport, Taipa Ferry Terminal, and many other locations in Taipa. Guests wanting to head to the city centre to explore the Macau Peninsula can get there within 25 minutes of travel time. The Grand Lisboa Palace Macau offers 1,350 contemporary Chinoiserie-inspired rooms and suites that are exquisitely furnished and have a breathtaking view of the resort's Jardim Secreto gardens or Cotai skyline. Each room has complimentary high-speed internet access, 55” flat-screen televisions, separate bath and walk-in showers outfitted with Grohe Freehander shower systems, and beautiful art that brings Macau’s rich cultural history to life. More physical and spiritual relaxation can be found at The Spa at Grand Lisboa Palace which features 14 opulent treatment suites and offers personalised and highly effective treatments. Guests can also receive personalised hair services by the Gentlemen’s Tonic or bespoke manicure and pedicure rituals at The PEDI:MANI:CURE Studio by Bastien Gonzalez. At the Gym, guests can exercise with advanced Technogym® cardiovascular equipment and tailored training programmes, while the temperature-controlled indoor and outdoor swimming pools are perfect for laps or relaxing dips. The resort offers an exceptional range of gastronomy with authentic flavours and enticing aromas of Macanese, Portuguese, regional Chinese and Western cuisines, presented by first-to-Macau and trendsetting restaurants.

"The location is quite good, not as remote as some online reviews might suggest. I noticed the two cabinets that some had mentioned as being a bit odd. The one containing the mini-fridge was perfectly fine, but the middle cabinet seemed quite unnecessary, especially since the room was spacious enough and had plenty of space for clothes. The staff service was also very good. My only minor gripe is that each floor has around 100 very similar-looking rooms, and the extensive layout makes it quite easy to get lost. Overall, it's mostly a positive experience. The only real downside was that the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance during my visit, which meant having to take a rather inconvenient and long detour. They could have made the temporary barriers smaller; otherwise, it was genuinely inconvenient to walk around in a swimsuit just to change or use the restroom. It would also be great if the pool could stay open until 10 PM (22:00), as 8 PM (20:00) feels a bit too early to close."

Hotels in Macau Peninsula,Macau
YOHO Treasure Island hotel, a landmark situated in the center of the transportation hub in the peninsula of Macau, boasts breathtaking views. The hotel features rooms with a sophisticated luxurious design that captures some of the most iconic landmarks, such as the stunning views of Nam Van Lake, the dazzling Nam Van Lake fountain, and the renowned Wynn fountain. As the sea meets the sky, the lake blends with the city, forming an unforgettable scenery. YOHO Treasure Island hotel provides long-stay apartment-style suites with fully equipped kitchens and washing machines, allowing you to feel at home while away. And located in the key area of Macau peninsula, the hotel is right in front of the largest bus transfer station in Macau and is connected to nearby Grand Lisboa, Hotel Lisboa, Wynn Resorts, MGM Macau, StarWorld Hotel, and Bank of China Building via pedestrian tunnels, offering convenient transportation while surrounded by stunning views. At sunset, the sunset paints the sky orange, reflecting on the lake surface, creating a romantic and beautiful scenery. When darkness falls, experience the dazzling city landscapes up close and bring home an unforgettable experience.

"I recently stayed at Yoho Treasure Island Hotel, and I must say, I am quite disappointed considering it is marketed as a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the high standards one would expect from a property of this caliber. Firstly, one of the most basic amenities expected in a luxury hotel—the bathroom—was subpar. The bathroom lacked a bidet, which is a standard feature in many high-end hotels, especially for guests seeking comfort and hygiene. Additionally, the bathroom door did not have a lock, which severely compromised privacy. This was particularly uncomfortable, as I did not feel secure knowing that anyone could potentially enter without warning. Furthermore, despite repeatedly requesting privacy by hanging the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door, staff members entered the room multiple times. This was not only intrusive but also disrespectful of personal boundaries and privacy. Such occurrences are unacceptable in a hotel that claims to offer a luxurious and private experience. Another inconvenience was the limited space available for storing clothes in the bathroom. As someone who prefers to keep their belongings organized and within easy reach, I found the storage options to be inadequate. The bathroom did not offer sufficient shelving or cabinets, forcing me to leave clothes and personal items in less convenient places, which diminished the overall comfort and convenience of my stay. Overall, my experience at Yoho Treasure Island Hotel was disappointing and did not reflect the luxury standards that the hotel presumably promotes. For a hotel that charges premium rates, I expected better facilities, greater attention to guest privacy, and more thoughtful amenities. I hope the management considers these issues seriously to improve future guest experiences."

"The hotel is reasonably priced for a weekday and has a nice pool. The location is not so convenient however, as it is somewhat far from most of the tourist attractions in Taipa. You would either need to take a cab, a shuttle, or a bus, but the shuttle does not come very frequently. So I ended up spending my time staying around the hotel. Fortunately, they do have a pretty decent Chinese restaurant. The outdoor pool is a nice touch given that not all hotels in Macao have decent outdoor pools. There is also a nice view of Hengqin from the room and also from the pool deck. Overall I think for the price it is a good option for those who are not solely in Macao to gamble. It is too bad that the hotel is near an abandoned race course however, it would be great if the government were to revive this area as it is a waste of space."

"We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a lovely cake. it was such a sweet touch! I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We had such a great experience that we’ve already planned to come back in January next year. Can’t wait to visit again!"

The Grand Dragon Hotel, situated in the heart of Taipa, is an international luxury hotel spanning 26,400 square meters. It boasts 385 well-appointed rooms, including standard rooms, deluxe rooms, and suites, offering a spacious and comfortable environment. The hotel enjoys a prime location with easy access to the light rail, ensuring convenient transportation for guests. It is surrounded by a host of famous attractions such as The Venetian Macao, Macau Stadium, the Four-Faced Buddha, the A-Ma Cultural Village, the charming Coloane Village with its European flair, and the bustling Rua do Cunha with its array of souvenir shops. Additionally, the hotel is just around 10-minute drive from Macau International Airport and Taipa Ferry Terminal, making it an ideal choice for tourists seeking leisure, vacation, or concert experiences.

"The room was quite satisfactory – clean, quiet, and well-soundproofed. The front desk staff were easy to communicate with and could switch to Mandarin. It's been a while since I've encountered a room deposit, but it wasn't an issue as it's fully refunded after check-out, provided no damages are incurred. The location is excellent: Rua do Cunha is just a short walk away, and from there, it's easy to reach The Venetian and other attractions. For the Ruins of St. Paul's, you'll need to take a bus, and digital payments like Alipay and WeChat are widely accepted in that area. For navigation, Gaode Maps might be more reliable than Baidu Maps, so it's a good idea to download offline maps using the hotel's Wi-Fi in advance. Generally, both Alipay and WeChat are widely accepted for payments, and I didn't come across any shops that were cash-only."

"Traveling solo with two children, I placed a high priority on transportation. From the airport, you can take the Grand Lisboa shuttle. The two hotels (Grand Lisboa and Lisboa Hotel) are actually just separated by a narrow street, so you don't have to worry about walking long distances. I had pre-booked the complimentary airport pick-up service. The driver was incredibly enthusiastic, helped with our luggage, and even introduced the hotel's various services – truly an outstanding experience. When it was time to leave, I also arranged a car through the front desk to take us to the Taipa Ferry Terminal. I found the hotel's cleanliness and facilities to be excellent. As it's an older hotel, the decor has a classic 'old money' charm. They even proactively upgraded our room for free when they saw I was traveling with two children. The Wi-Fi, power outlets, toiletries, and complimentary beverages were all top-notch – truly hassle-free. Right downstairs from the hotel is a very large bus station, offering excellent connectivity. There were also incredibly helpful guides at the station who assisted us in scanning QR codes with WeChat or Alipay to register for the local transport pass, making getting around absolutely hassle-free. Nearby attractions, such as the Ruins of St. Paul's, are wonderfully uncrowded if you visit before 8:30 AM, allowing you to easily avoid the peak tourist rush. All in all, my stay at the Lisboa Hotel truly made this trip a fantastic experience!"

We are your ideal choice of accommodation upon your arrival. We are a luxury hotel with more than rooms of various types and amenities. With first class hotel facilities including restaurant, lounge, 24-hour vending machines, swimming pool and convention halls, our hotel is designed for family holidays and executive travel. Our hotel lobby is located on the 9th floor and a connection passageway to the Macau International Airport is on G floor.

"The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the attendant at the luggage storage counter was rather indifferent, which is an area that definitely needs improvement. The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the airport, just a few minutes' walk away. The room offered a fantastic view, perfect for watching planes take off and land, with a beautiful panoramic vista of the sea meeting the sky. However, the room, especially the bedding, felt quite damp due to excessively high humidity, and there was no dehumidifier. This caused my skin to feel slightly itchy. I hope they can significantly improve their cleaning and hygiene standards."

Altira Macau is a contemporary luxurious hotel offering highly personalized and tailored customer service catering primarily to the high-end Asian-oriented market. Altira Macau features a 38-storey tower including approximately 183,000 square feet of dazzling multi-level casino as well as exclusive private gaming salons. The complex also features a contemporary Forbes Five Star rating hotel with spacious guestrooms, including luxurious suites and elegant villas, signature restaurants including Ying, Aurora and Tenmasa, the stylish 38 Lounge and the award-winning Altira Spa.

"The check-in counter is located on the 38th floor. We booked a room with two 1.5-meter wide beds, which was perfectly spacious for our family of three. The room was very large, and the bathroom featured an extra-large bathtub, though we returned too late to enjoy a soak. It also had a separate wet and dry area. Housekeeping serviced the room twice daily, replenishing amenities like tea bags and coffee. Complimentary fruit was provided, and everything in the mini-bar was free of charge. What initially attracted me to this hotel was its infinity pool, but unfortunately, I couldn't use it as I was on my period. The hotel is situated in a residential area with plenty of dining options, and a nearby bus stop makes getting to the Macau Peninsula very convenient. The hotel also provides shuttle services to the Border Gate (Gongbei Port), City of Dreams, and Studio City. Overall, it's extremely convenient and offers excellent value for money for a five-star establishment. It's very close to both the airport and the ferry terminal, with a taxi ride taking less than 10 minutes and costing around 50-60 MOP. Just a heads-up: Macau taxis charge for luggage, with each piece costing 3 MOP."

"This hotel is just opposite the airport (Departure hall) . Highly recommended to stay here. 1. it is very convenient to go to the airport and ferry port. You can take the MLTR line to the ferry port. Just 1 station away-MOP6 per person. I dont recommend you to walk from the hotel to ferry port despite it written just 500m away from the hotel in the description. 2. The room is spacious. And if you are lucky, you will have a airport view room. Our room was facing sea view. 3. The staff are helpful. You can take mrt to the town or you can take free shuttle to the casinos. Just ask the airport staff the bus waiting area location. Overall, we enjoved our stay here."

"This is a historic hotel that still has a great view of the Macau Tower and the surrounding area of Barra. At the same time, it is somewhat from casinos, the ferry terminal, etc. So this may be why it is not as busy as some other hotels. Having said that, for a weekday, the price I thought was very affordable and the room was well equipped and spacious by local standards. They also have kind of a rooftop area that you can access to take some neat pictures. Having said that they don't have much in the way of facilities, but then again this is to be expected at this price point. It's ideal for viewing the fireworks near Macau Tower but prices are also much higher on fireworks days. The Barra area itself is also interesting with some historic architecture and Portuguese restaurants."
