We totally recommend this hotel. It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :) Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

Sitting down for a cup of tea, you feel as if you've stepped into an ancient painting, all your restlessness melting away in this tranquility~ 🤵 Service: A heartwarming feeling of ”being at home” The receptionist's smile is like the warm autumn sun! During check-in, she not only explained in detail the hidden gems of the guesthouse (such as the best time to stargaze from the terrace), but also thoughtfully gave me a hand-drawn ”Hongcun Food Map”~ Wanting some hot water in the middle of the night, I rang the bell and it was brought to me instantly, with an extra blanket and the question, ”Are you cold?”—these details of ”treating guests like family” truly touch the heart! 🛋️ Facilities: A Comforter's Paradise The bed in the room was just the right firmness; lying on it felt like sinking into a cloud, and I slept soundly until dawn (a dream come true for night owls!). I can't recommend Muhua Hotel in Hongcun highly enough. I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The manager and staff were so friendly, accommodating, helpful, and hospitable that it truly felt like home from the moment I arrived. Every need was met with warmth and a smile, making me feel like family rather than just a guest. With its spotless charm and such genuine care, this hotel is a true gem. Thank you to the entire team. I will definitely stay here again.

The location of the homestay is particularly good, very close to Bishan, the boss provides a battery car for free, and it can be reached directly after a few minutes of riding. It is especially convenient to travel and play. If you want to come to the season of rapeseed flowers, the scenery here will definitely be more beautiful. The boss is super craftsmanship, the home-cooked dishes taste authentic and delicious, light and mouthful, fresh ingredients, and especially at ease. The room is also equipped with a mahjong machine, you can relax together in your leisure time at night, and the atmosphere is full. There is also a super cute puppy called QQ in the store, docile and loved ones, adding a lot of healing little fun. The fly in the ointment is that the quality of the bedding is ordinary, the fabric is rough, and the sensitive muscles will be a little itchy when sleeping. The inn is located next to the red poplar trees at the entrance to the scenic village. The innkeeper was very welcoming and attentive, even going to the parking lot she had pre-designated to pick up our luggage and elderly guests. Her husband is a chef, and his local specialties, like stinky mandarin fish, are incredibly delicious. She also recommends her friends to stay here.

Beautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible. The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby

Extremely satisfied! We came here for tourism, and at first we couldn't find our way, but the landlady patiently explained the route to us. It's very close to the West Gate, and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed, including air conditioning and an electric blanket—super nice! She even specifically told us we could turn it on if it was cold. With this kind of service, anything is possible! It made our trip much more enjoyable. Very satisfied!
