My stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather. Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

I really enjoyed my stay in Hongcun - mainly thanks to the homestay's host who was very accomodating and helpful throughout my stay. He and his personnel truly live and breath tourism. They have a great restaurant on the premise and they offer help with anything despite the language barrier. The room I stayed in was beautiful, comfortable and I soon felt like at home. Would stay again! Thank you~

Environment: The environment of the B&B is very good, the Hui-style architecture is very distinctive, and the photos taken in the B&B are very good. The facilities are complete, and the service is very thoughtful and considerate. I will stay here again when I come to Hongcun next time, and I will recommend it to my friends. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the popular tourist attraction Yuennum. It is very friendly to babies with weak legs on the ”alley” of Nine Roads and Eighteen Turns! The B&B environment is very clean and very worthy of the price! The facilities in the room are very new, including smart toilets, bathtubs, disposable toilet mats and various accessories. The proprietress is also very enthusiastic and gave us a special cake 😋 Before leaving, she also helped us deliver our luggage to the entrance of the parking scene area. I really like the design style of the hotel. The room is large, warm and comfortable. The front desk lady is enthusiastic and attentive. It is ten minutes away from Hongcun Scenic Area, which is very convenient. I have recommended it to my friends who are going to Hongcun.

Fantastic hotel with the very best location right on the central pond in the centre of all the activity, but perfectly quiet inside, full of period details, with the option to sit on a bench just outside the hotel and people watch, with good noodles and a good restaurant and good bar, all within 1 min walk (good = price and taste). Wonderful.

When we were about to arrive at Huangshan, we found a hotel temporarily. Unexpectedly, we were satisfied with it. We booked a ”Green Mountain Room”. When we checked in, the front desk took the initiative to upgrade it to the ”Live in a Painting” on the second floor with a better view. It was really like living in a painting. I was so happy. It was almost dark when we arrived. We didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and went to have dinner nearby. After dinner, we camped in a tent on the lawn of the hotel and sat down to look at the stars. It was also very comfortable. It rained heavily at night. The next morning, I opened the curtains and saw that it was so beautiful. The mountain tops in the distance were shrouded in clouds and mist, and the green grass nearby was pleasing to the eye. The room facilities are complete, the shower room and toilet space are more spacious than those of ordinary hotels, and there is a desk, which is convenient for guests who bring work. The hygiene is also OK, but it may be too close to nature. Three different kinds of insects were found on the walls of the room, which is consistent with the positioning of a wild luxury hotel. The package is very cost-effective. It is less than 300 and also gives a double ticket to Qiyun Mountain. As a Ctrip member, I exchanged for a breakfast. The breakfast can be full, but the quality still has a lot of room for improvement. I wanted to extend the check-out time by half an hour for a lunch break, but I called the front desk and was rejected. They said that the room was full and there was no time to clean. I can understand that, but the guests will feel better if the tone is gentler. So I checked out on time. When I handed the room card to the front desk, I was asked to wait a moment. I thought they were going to check the room, but it turned out to be a gift, including Huangshan sesame cakes, mineral water, and disinfectant tissues, which was very thoughtful. I also asked about my experience of staying here, and I must give a good review. I have recommended it to my friends. It is a good choice to stay here when visiting Huangshan in the future. It’s just that the gorillas on the lawn 🦍 shape exceeds my aesthetic standards. I think it is a failure that ruins the scenery, so I didn’t take pictures.

The most surprising homestay during this trip to Huangshan is a ”homestay in the Peach Blossom Spring” ~ The owner is enthusiastic and talkative, responsive to every request, and the thoughtful service relieves the fatigue of the journey ~ The small courtyard is even more unique, with flowers, birds, fish and insects complementing each other, very elegant, and a comfortable teahouse in the center of the courtyard. Even if you don't leave the homestay, you can have a quiet world ~ It is also very convenient to eat around. There are delicious Ming Dynasty old houses and Hui Niang private dishes outside. It is a unique experience to eat in an old Hui-style house ~ It is perfect in all aspects. I strongly recommend it to travelers who come to Xidi to experience it

Great location and friendly owner. I got this place because of the location & affordable price. This homestay also allowed you to try the traditional custome for free. What's surprise me is the free gift ( one bottle of fresh homemade chrysanthemum) after the check out. Worth the visit and nice ambiance. The design also great.. I called the homestay via trip.com call to inform them before my arrival and they can arrange someone to pick me at the entrance. The owner also can arrange for me on the next day send off to train station. I'm so satisfied with the arrangement and human touch of this homestay.
