"Perfect location in hongcun. Really unique architecture the loft style room is really fun. They even provide a few hanfu to wear for free and a nice uncle helped transport our suitcases ! Only complaint is that we were staying here the time a tour group was here and they were incredibly loud late in the evening and starting at 6 in the morning so sleep was affected :( we are only staying for a night so we dealt with it but we wish the hotel could’ve told them to be quieter haha"

"Fantastic hotel with the very best location right on the central pond in the centre of all the activity, but perfectly quiet inside, full of period details, with the option to sit on a bench just outside the hotel and people watch, with good noodles and a good restaurant and good bar, all within 1 min walk (good = price and taste). "My stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather. Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination."

"We liked the independent courtyard room in Wanxing Building. We booked a triple room for two people, with a double bed and a single bed, which was very comfortable. The room is fully equipped. Because there is a small courtyard with a sun room, the area is increased by half. It is very comfortable to sit in the courtyard when the sun is good and the temperature is suitable. The house is an immovable cultural relic of the Hui style. It is very close to Nanhu Lake. I go to the park every day when I go out. I can go in and out of the village at will. After dinner, we camped in a tent on the lawn of the hotel and sat down to look at the stars. It was also very comfortable. It rained heavily at night. The next morning, I opened the curtains and saw that it was so beautiful. The mountain tops in the distance were shrouded in clouds and mist, and the green grass nearby was pleasing to the eye. The room facilities are complete, the shower room and toilet space are more spacious than those of ordinary hotels, and there is a desk, which is convenient for guests who bring work. The hygiene is also OK, but it may be too close to nature. Three different kinds of insects were found on the walls of the room, which is consistent with the positioning of a wild luxury hotel. The package is very cost-effective. It is less than 300 and also gives a double ticket to Qiyun Mountain. As a Ctrip member, I exchanged for a breakfast. The breakfast can be full, but the quality still has a lot of room for improvement. I wanted to extend the check-out time by half an hour for a lunch break, but I called the front desk and was rejected. They said that the room was full and there was no time to clean. I can understand that, but the guests will feel better if the tone is gentler. So I checked out on time. When I handed the room card to the front desk, I was asked to wait a moment. I thought they were going to check the room, but it turned out to be a gift, including Huangshan sesame cakes, mineral water, and disinfectant tissues, which was very thoughtful. I also asked about my experience of staying here, and I must give a good review. I have recommended it to my friends. It is a good choice to stay here when visiting Huangshan in the future. It’s just that the gorillas on the lawn 🦍 shape exceeds my aesthetic standards. I think it is a failure that ruins the scenery, so I didn’t take pictures."
