I went to Hongcun, a place I had always wanted to visit. I looked at it on Ctrip for a long time and was attracted by the lobby environment of this hotel. The four of us booked a duplex room and the two big beds were very comfortable to sleep. Before the check-in, the boss turned on the air conditioner for us in advance, and came to the parking lot to pick up the luggage. When we went back, we also sent it to the parking lot. We didn't worry about bringing the suitcase. The breakfast is quite rich, light and full. Huangshan has played Huizhou cuisine for a few days and eaten too much. The dishes fried by the owner of the hotel are delicious. A small fried taste is very good at will. The sauerkraut fried dumplings are particularly delicious, and the home-cooked tofu is also very fragrant.

Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

He helped us with our luggage, arranged carpooling, and asked us if we needed to change our supplies (because we stayed there for two consecutive days). Secondly, the decoration style of Minsu Hotel is also great. You can see the staggered eaves through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The mattress is very comfortable to sleep on, and the quality of the toiletries is also very good. If there is any shortcoming, it is that the induction mirror is too sensitive. For girls who love to be pretentious, there is a lack of a makeup mirror and a full-length mirror.

When traveling with children, the lady boss is very nice. For the convenience of our two children, we took the initiative to adjust the two families to stay on the same floor. Very thoughtful. There is a terrace on the third floor of Mingsu, and the viewing platform on the fourth floor is high up and looking far away. The setting sun matches the smoke of Huizhou ancient villages. It is quiet and quiet. Went to see the musical fountain at 7 o'clock. The personal experience is better than the service in Hongcun. The cultures of the two ancient villages are in the same vein. The two village operating groups are just different. If you want a less crowded place with a better experience, Xidi is more recommended. Muxi Mountain Famous Hotel is also recommended.
