GGuest UserThe courtyard is obviously well designed, with winding paths and everything you need. The room is decorated with great texture, it seems very spacious when you move in, and the bedding and bathroom are also very clean. The scenery is beautiful when sitting in the courtyard. There are rape flowers in front of you and a stream flowing in front of the door. Many students sketching are also here, which has become another scenic spot. It is very convenient to go to other parts of the village from here, as well as to climb to the top to see the whole picture of the village. The key is that the proprietress is warm and cheerful, and some of her cooking skills are great. I had the most sumptuous and delicious breakfast here. It felt like visiting relatives and I was reluctant to leave. If vacations could be unlimited, I really want to stay here for a few months, basking in the sun, petting cats, tasting the boss lady's cooking, digging wild vegetables and bamboo shoots. It would be so beautiful.

GGuest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰. I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

The courtyard is charmingly antique, blending the elegance of Jiangnan gardens with the cultural heritage of ancient Huizhou. Every corner is meticulously designed and maintained. The guesthouse boasts a prime location, just a short walk from the south gate, making it incredibly convenient. Although situated within Hongcun, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; at night, the only sounds are the chirping of frogs and insects. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities for comfort and convenience. The housekeepers are also incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage at the entrance, taking photos, and readily fulfilling any requests. This guesthouse truly represents a perfect blend of historical culture and modern comfort, exceeding expectations. Highly recommended! By the way, their osmanthus black tea is also delicious! 👍

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

BBaiwenburuyijianyaThis was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

GGuest UserWe booked a 4-day, 3-night package through a live group deal, and it was already great value for money. To our surprise, the hotel concierge even informed us in advance that we could upgrade to a 200-square-meter villa suite – what a huge, pleasant surprise! Our private car could park directly in front of the villa. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to the restaurant, lobby, and other hotel areas, available on-call. Banyan Tree truly sets the standard for hotels; both the hardware and software are top-notch. The service attitude is excellent, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and fresh fruit and pastries are delivered daily. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. At sunset, there are special performances, and you can also enjoy a complimentary travel photography service, with three free photos per room number. From the highest point outside the lobby, you can overlook the Lucun ancient village scenic area, which makes for fantastic photos. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute drive from Hongcun and a 20-minute drive from Xidi. It's also only half an hour from Yixian East Station. This hotel comes highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a brand new one. Once arrived, the hotel reception staff served with a warm smile and generously grant us free breakfast for 2 mornings. Hotel renovation looks well and the room facilities are all modern and high tech. I was particularly impressed with its WCPan which has an auto washing services for buttock. The bed linen and flooring are clean well. Environment nearby is beautiful village scene where we enjoy having a lesuire walk there. All in all, it is a very good hotel which can make you relax even you just stay in the hotel. Ha one more that is the restaurant next to the hotel where one may enjoy delicious Chinese meals. The staff there are also very nice. Eating there is just like having meals at home. I am sure I will stay in Vienna again when next time I go to huangshan.

GGuest UserI originally reserved a room for one day, but the boss was so kind and the courtyard was so beautiful. I stayed here for 4 consecutive days and I couldn't bear to leave. You can sing, eat, and fish in the small courtyard. There is a large area of ​​rice at the door. The misty mountain is especially fairy. The surrounding area is very quiet. When you enter the village, there is a long and beautiful road with flowers, rice fields and mountain bosses on both sides. There are bicycles that you can borrow to ride and take pictures. It is really beautiful. The boss is really caring. The room is very comfortable and the facilities are complete. The bed is very comfortable and the toiletries are very good. Because it was raining and the clothes were not dry, the boss even took the dryer specially. There is also a toilet mat for babies in the room, which is very suitable for bringing children to play. The meals cooked by the aunt are also delicious, and the boss also gave the children fruits to eat and special products when they left. Knowing that we were going to Jingdezhen, the boss asked a friend to help us book a discounted hotel. When we left, he sent us to the car like a friend from afar. Mom and Dad also lived very comfortably and made friends with the boss and mom. They insisted that I stay for a few days when I came back from Jingdezhen, and I would take the children on vacation when I have time. My mother told me to write more good reviews 😄😄

GGuest UserPig's Inn is a charming little hotel in a beautiful original building - the spaces are just incredible and endlessly photogenic. The village of Bishan itself is very quaint, still inhabited by locals but with a few cafés and bars, design stores and a wonderful bookshop. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are fabulous - we had dinner here twice. We stayed here for two nights in January, as most of the spaces are open, the hotel was a little chilly, but we were very cosy in front of the fireplace in the living area. Very happy we chose to stay in the small village of Bishan rather than the beautiful, but more touristy villages of Xidi or Hongcun. There are bikes and it was easy to get a Didi to visit the surrounding villages.

XXiaomiaomaThe service attitude is very good. The guy at the hotel front desk will call in advance to pick us up from the parking lot. He will take our luggage with us to the entrance of the ancient village on an electric bicycle. The room is on the first floor. It is very clean and spacious. There is a swing in the yard, which makes it feel very cozy. You also get snacks and free mineral water when you check in. The location is particularly good. After walking a few dozen meters, we arrived at the big banyan tree at the entrance of the village. It was a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle. There were also some B&Bs around, but when I passed by, I felt that the yard of this one was the most beautiful.
