Location: The hotel is situated within the Xidi Scenic Area. Upon check-in, each room receives two complimentary adult tickets to Xidi, with each adult ticket allowing one child to enter for free. The tickets are valid for 3 days, meaning a family of two adults and two children staying here can enjoy free entry to the scenic area.
Facilities: The hotel boasts excellent facilities. The bathroom amenities and bedding are of good quality, and the decor has a charming traditional aesthetic. The complimentary items provided, such as the peach wood comb, toiletries, towels, and cotton-linen slippers, are all of high quality. It feels like you're bringing home a lot of lovely souvenirs after just one stay!
Service: The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile and patiently resolving any issues. Breakfast is quite generous, and in the evenings, they even provide complimentary chilled mung bean soup and Bingfen (a local dessert) when you return to your room.
Environment: The hotel is nestled amidst ancient architecture and traditional gardens. Staying here allows you to truly appreciate the distinctive black tiles, white walls, and blue bricks of Huizhou's ancient buildings. I only wish I could have stayed for a few more days!

Standing on Deva's balcony the day I arrived, I told my family that this was my dream place.
I am alone to take a leave to let go for a few days, in the rape blossoms and the May 1st holiday between the small off-season came to the environment, enjoy this beautiful small yard for 2 days.
The shopkeeper is a full-fledged Beijing sister, and the environment is also a place she chooses. I added WeChat in advance and gave various careful guidance. People went to Xidi to drive a car to the village entrance to pick it up. Xidi Village is not big, it takes not long to walk in and out. There are not many things in the off-season. Every day, I see the shopkeeper’s sister with a pair of shears to trim the flowers and plants. There is a chat without a chat. Go upstairs to see the scenery. Sitting on the balcony of Daiwa is in a daze. It is pastoral to the south and ancient buildings to the north. Patting the fields and eaves of various birds, including but not limited to: white-headed, spotted, egrets, ponds, mountains, etc. There is a beautiful green bird on the eaves is a frequent visitor, check it called the fin-billed fin. Every morning there will be mist in the mountains, get up early and walk on the rape field, the dew wet the pants feet, this should be my yearning for life, can imagine how beautiful the rape blossom season will be. Unfortunately, the body was not strong and there was a problem, and I had to end the trip early. Before leaving, the shopkeeper sister took me to the health center at the entrance of the village and opened medicine to send me to the car. When I went home, I still asked me on WeChat if I was better.
In short, it is a very good experience for two days. If you love ancient construction and pastoral, come to Weinan to live in Xidi, and come to Xidi to live in the environment.

smilysunsunTachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

Guest UserThe room and the entire guesthouse were quite tastefully decorated.
However, the soundproofing in the room was poor, and the duvet made a lot of noise. The lighting in the room was also quite dim. For us, with someone who has poor eyesight, this dim lighting was a bit inconvenient. For most people, it probably wouldn't be an issue.
Also, personally, I'm not a fan of smart toilets. I don't know why hotels are all installing them now; it's quite annoying.
It feels like hotel prices in the Hongcun area are generally inflated. A 500-600 yuan hotel is probably only worth around 400 yuan.
Breakfast was served as a set meal, not a buffet, which meant the food wasn't very warm. Overall, the breakfast items weren't very tasty and the quality wasn't high. The soy milk was also very watery.

Guest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰.
I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the facilities are excellent. The food is delicious too! Most importantly, the staff are all incredibly nice, warm, and attentive. They helped us with our luggage, and even offered pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area. A special shout-out to the beautiful lady manager – she was super enthusiastic and truly touched our hearts. Oh, and there's also a very cute little black dog! I really hope this wonderful guesthouse continues to thrive. We'll definitely be back next time we visit Hongcun!

GippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

When I came to Huangshan to visit, I heard that Hongcun is also a good place to visit, so I chose the Vienna Hotel near Hongcun. The hotel environment is better and the facilities are complete. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast in the hotel is also delicious. The staple food, fruit, milk and coffee, are all available. Good review!

The hotel environment is very tranquil, with an Anhui-style ancient town aesthetic. There's a vegetable patch and small animals. Room service and butler service are professional and enthusiastic. During our week-long stay, we watched the hotel's iron flower performance twice, and the kids absolutely loved it. The walnut shortbread left during turndown service was delicious, and my parents enjoyed it. The pool is a bit small, but everything else is excellent.

Pig's Inn is a charming little hotel in a beautiful original building - the spaces are just incredible and endlessly photogenic. The village of Bishan itself is very quaint, still inhabited by locals but with a few cafés and bars, design stores and a wonderful bookshop. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are fabulous - we had dinner here twice. We stayed here for two nights in January, as most of the spaces are open, the hotel was a little chilly, but we were very cosy in front of the fireplace in the living area.
Very happy we chose to stay in the small village of Bishan rather than the beautiful, but more touristy villages of Xidi or Hongcun. There are bikes and it was easy to get a Didi to visit the surrounding villages.
