My stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather. Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

The hotel is very close to Nanhu Lake, the service is very good, it is very clean and hygienic, and it is far from the lively places, so you don't feel noisy when you sleep at night. However, it is a bit far from Yuezhao, so it doesn't matter if young people go shopping. A small gift was given when leaving the hotel. It is a hotel that you can stay in again.

Environment: The environment of the B&B is very good, the Hui-style architecture is very distinctive, and the photos taken in the B&B are very good. The facilities are complete, and the service is very thoughtful and considerate. I will stay here again when I come to Hongcun next time, and I will recommend it to my friends. When we were about to arrive at Huangshan, we found a hotel temporarily. Unexpectedly, we were satisfied with it. We booked a ”Green Mountain Room”. When we checked in, the front desk took the initiative to upgrade it to the ”Live in a Painting” on the second floor with a better view. It was really like living in a painting. I was so happy. It was almost dark when we arrived. We didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and went to have dinner nearby. After dinner, we camped in a tent on the lawn of the hotel and sat down to look at the stars. It was also very comfortable. It rained heavily at night. The next morning, I opened the curtains and saw that it was so beautiful. The mountain tops in the distance were shrouded in clouds and mist, and the green grass nearby was pleasing to the eye. The room facilities are complete, the shower room and toilet space are more spacious than those of ordinary hotels, and there is a desk, which is convenient for guests who bring work. The hygiene is also OK, but it may be too close to nature. Three different kinds of insects were found on the walls of the room, which is consistent with the positioning of a wild luxury hotel. The package is very cost-effective. It is less than 300 and also gives a double ticket to Qiyun Mountain. As a Ctrip member, I exchanged for a breakfast. The breakfast can be full, but the quality still has a lot of room for improvement. I wanted to extend the check-out time by half an hour for a lunch break, but I called the front desk and was rejected. They said that the room was full and there was no time to clean. I can understand that, but the guests will feel better if the tone is gentler. So I checked out on time. When I handed the room card to the front desk, I was asked to wait a moment. I thought they were going to check the room, but it turned out to be a gift, including Huangshan sesame cakes, mineral water, and disinfectant tissues, which was very thoughtful. I also asked about my experience of staying here, and I must give a good review. I have recommended it to my friends. It is a good choice to stay here when visiting Huangshan in the future. It’s just that the gorillas on the lawn 🦍 shape exceeds my aesthetic standards. I think it is a failure that ruins the scenery, so I didn’t take pictures.

The courtyard is really quiet in a bustling city. The landlady is very enthusiastic and talkative. When we talked about us coming from Jiaxing, she said that she had worked in Jiaxing for five years and made pastries in the cafeteria of Jiaxing University. She also talked about Nanhu and Wenchang Road, and was very cordial. With the development of Hongcun's tourism industry, I returned to the village in 2013 to run a homestay. In order to provide a better homestay experience, I renovated the homestay again in 2023 and reduced the number of rooms. This is what my two children said was the best homestay experience on this trip to Huizhou. The 1.5-meter twin bed room has a desk for doing homework, a clean and tidy bathroom, and floor heating that was turned on in advance. The children still remember it very much.

The most surprising homestay during this trip to Huangshan is a ”homestay in the Peach Blossom Spring” ~ The owner is enthusiastic and talkative, responsive to every request, and the thoughtful service relieves the fatigue of the journey ~ The small courtyard is even more unique, with flowers, birds, fish and insects complementing each other, very elegant, and a comfortable teahouse in the center of the courtyard. Even if you don't leave the homestay, you can have a quiet world ~ It is also very convenient to eat around. There are delicious Ming Dynasty old houses and Hui Niang private dishes outside. It is a unique experience to eat in an old Hui-style house ~ It is perfect in all aspects. I strongly recommend it to travelers who come to Xidi to experience it

The hotel is not far from Hongcun. It is one of the better hotels in the town. It is newly opened and has no smell. The internal environment is good, very clean and hygienic, and the service staff have good attitudes. It is suitable for self-driving travel. The biggest problem is that the breakfast is not good, with few varieties and average taste. There are many people during the Chinese New Year. The most exaggerated thing is that the sound insulation is very poor. You can clearly hear the children playing next door.

Great location and friendly owner. I got this place because of the location & affordable price. This homestay also allowed you to try the traditional custome for free. What's surprise me is the free gift ( one bottle of fresh homemade chrysanthemum) after the check out. Worth the visit and nice ambiance. The design also great.. I called the homestay via trip.com call to inform them before my arrival and they can arrange someone to pick me at the entrance. The owner also can arrange for me on the next day send off to train station. I'm so satisfied with the arrangement and human touch of this homestay.

Service: The service is especially good. I called the boss in advance to pick us up by electric car at the west gate parking lot. We chose not to include breakfast, but the boss said that we did not include breakfast but would send breakfast. The breakfast sent was of many varieties and tasted good. It was very comfortable to eat breakfast in the riverside restaurant. The boss also helped us upgrade the room type. The accommodation experience is very good, cost-effective, and highly recommended.
