I had an incredibly satisfying stay! The hotel features beautiful Huizhou-style architecture. Our room was fully equipped, elegantly designed, and thoughtfully appointed. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality amenities provided: a bamboo fiber towel set, a peach wood comb, and linen slippers. Even the toiletries were premium, not the usual cheap items you find. The staff were incredibly service-oriented and friendly, which made a huge difference! Breakfast was also excellent. The location of this beautiful traditional house is perfect, just opposite the gorgeous rural area of the town and a few minutes from the main square . The house is lovely and the room was cosy with great charm, rafters and beams. The bed was very comfortable and i had a very good sleep as it is also very quiet. The room is suitable for 1 pperson as there is only a curtain between the bedroom area and bathroom area The owners contacted me as soon as i booked and picked me up from the entrance gate so I had a,seamless journey

Bring my mother to Hongcun for a trip 🧳, I love the service of Yinmo. It is very intimate. I specially arranged a quiet room in the middle, especially the delicious and fresh Anhui dishes. When I know that we have not eaten well, although after the meal, the boss also cooks in person. Let us order as needed, fried and cooked, and we will wait for us to come back for dinner in the evening to wipe out the fatigue of the journey. The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

Highly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰. I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

The courtyard has a great design, perfect for taking photos and checking in. However, the downside is that during the day, many tourists pass by and even enter the courtyard to take pictures, making it very noisy. It's almost impossible to get some rest or a quick nap indoors during the day. In contrast, it's very quiet at night, and the ambiance is excellent. The distinctive Huizhou architectural style is prominent, and overall it's quite good. The owner also arranges for an uncle to pick up guests and luggage from the bus station, and their responses are very prompt. Courtyard No. 2 is only a five-minute walk from Yueyao Pond and the Ancestral Temple, making it ideal for early risers to snap photos before the crowds arrive.

Wonderful stay in a truly unique property. Zhang Mansion is much more than just a hotel: it is an authentic experience inside an ancient traditional mansion, perfectly immersed in the historic atmosphere of Hongcun. It almost feels like being transported back in time, into the quiet and refined beauty of China from several centuries ago. The interiors are full of charm, history, and character, and staying here allows you to experience the village in a much deeper way than a simple day visit. The atmosphere is calm, evocative, and almost cinematic. A very sweet detail: the property’s cat and dog are genuinely lovely and add an even warmer, more memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, romantic, and timeless stay.

I visited Hongcun with family and friends and stayed at the 30·SANGSH Hotel. Overall, the experience was very comfortable. The Hui-style aesthetic design was very tasteful, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness and environment deserve full marks, and the service and facilities were also excellent. The only minor drawback was the balcony view, which was just average. However, its proximity to Hongcun makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the area, making it ideal for those who want a comfortable stay while also enjoying easy access to Hongcun.

Guanlu Village was an unexpected surprise! ✅The rooms in the main building were very convenient and had a great view, facing the countryside. They were very close to the restaurant and parking lot, so no shuttle was needed. ✅The room design was wonderful. It was spacious, had a great view, and had all the necessary features! The bathtub strap and bed rail were thoughtfully provided. ✅The best part was that you could rent an electric car. It was very convenient for visiting Guanlu Village, Nanping Village, and other places! There were also activities, so be sure to check the official account. During National Day, you can go rice threshing! ⭕️They could have provided some children's washbasins. The washbasin is quite high, making it difficult for preschoolers to brush their teeth. ⭕️The restaurant could improve its cooking skills. 😂The service level could be improved, and the speed of clearing plates and other things could be improved. ❌The rural roads were extremely difficult to navigate, and the intersections with large vehicles were extremely dangerous. If you are not familiar with the road conditions or driving from other places, do not drive at night! !!!

Pig's Inn is a charming little hotel in a beautiful original building - the spaces are just incredible and endlessly photogenic. The village of Bishan itself is very quaint, still inhabited by locals but with a few cafés and bars, design stores and a wonderful bookshop. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are fabulous - we had dinner here twice. We stayed here for two nights in January, as most of the spaces are open, the hotel was a little chilly, but we were very cosy in front of the fireplace in the living area. Very happy we chose to stay in the small village of Bishan rather than the beautiful, but more touristy villages of Xidi or Hongcun. There are bikes and it was easy to get a Didi to visit the surrounding villages.
