The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

This guesthouse is located within a scenic area and is limited by its old building's renovation, so don't have overly high expectations. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. When they heard we needed to buy medicine, the owner even rode his electric scooter outside the scenic area to get it for us – many thanks! Suggestion: On the day we checked in, the air conditioning was extremely cold. Adjusting it in the room wasn't responsive, and it got too cold 🥶, so we had no choice but to turn it off completely. I suggest checking and improving this.

The environment is quiet and pleasant, located right near the West Gate of Hongcun, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the scenic area. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were very attentive and quick to assist with any requests. The room was spacious and comfortable, with nice views.

This guesthouse in Hongcun Scenic Area is absolutely wonderful! It has a simple yet elegant courtyard with a strong scholarly ambiance. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind, offering luggage pick-up and drop-off services throughout our stay. They also thoughtfully arranged for us to dine at excellent nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner. Upon checking in, we immediately headed to Wanxing Tower near the guesthouse for stinky mandarin fish and rice with vegetables, which, unfortunately, were quite bland. However, the design of Nanhu Guanyuan itself is very refined and tasteful, and the breakfast spread offers a great variety, perfect for a heartwarming and satisfying start to the day. The guesthouse is exceptionally close to the Nanhu and Yuezao attractions, making it easy to take leisurely strolls in the morning or evening and soak in the beautiful, misty江南 (Jiangnan) scenery. My trip to Hongcun in Anhui was truly delightful, and staying at Nanhu Guanyuan made it even more enjoyable. Plus, the scenic area's parking lot charges a maximum of only twenty yuan for both day and night, which is incredibly good value.

Bring my mother to Hongcun for a trip 🧳, I love the service of Yinmo. It is very intimate. I specially arranged a quiet room in the middle, especially the delicious and fresh Anhui dishes. When I know that we have not eaten well, although after the meal, the boss also cooks in person. Let us order as needed, fried and cooked, and we will wait for us to come back for dinner in the evening to wipe out the fatigue of the journey. The room facilities are complete, the mattress is particularly comfortable, the bedding is a high-quality combed cotton plus item, lying down and seeing the white wall and black tiles outside the window for a second into the dream. Clean, the bathroom is also specially equipped with disinfectant cotton pads and disposable toilet pads, and the air conditioning system is also powerful. Huizhou's unique log color decoration is simple but powerful. It is indeed a comfortable and safe journey experience of Jingmeiren.

What an absolute pity...... that we only stayed for one night. It was a totally relaxing and perfect location for us to put our feet up after hiking for 3 days in HuangShan. We booked the detached grand suite which allowed us to have access to a whole traditional home with 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms had its own bathroom and toilet, heating... basically modern facilities and tastefully decorated. For me, it felt like staying in an old traditional home in one of the kung fu movies that I grew up watching. Not only did we have the whole house to ourselves, we had our own private garden (across from the house), where there is a swing, entertaining area and even a stove for us to light a fire. The couple owner are so lovely to deal with even before our stay began. They ensured that they are ready to greet us just outside the village at our arrival time. Please note that no taxis are allowed into the village and all visitors must purchase an entry ticket before entering the village. This can be purchased on Trip.com or at the entrance of the village. The owner lady was on hand to help us and showed us to our accommodation. She had even turned on all the heating in the rooms to ensure that we're nice and comfortable when we arrived. Map and points of interest were also provided for us. As we had to leave early in the morning (before sunrise), the owners happily arranged to have our luggage transported to outside the village where our taxi was waiting for us. It was such a pleasant and relaxing stay that, again, it is such a pity we couldn't have stayed longer. Definitely highly recommend staying at She De Yuan.

I can't recommend Muhua Hotel in Hongcun highly enough. I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The manager and staff were so friendly, accommodating, helpful, and hospitable that it truly felt like home from the moment I arrived. Every need was met with warmth and a smile, making me feel like family rather than just a guest. With its spotless charm and such genuine care, this hotel is a true gem. Thank you to the entire team. I will definitely stay here again.

The courtyard has a great design, perfect for taking photos and checking in. However, the downside is that during the day, many tourists pass by and even enter the courtyard to take pictures, making it very noisy. It's almost impossible to get some rest or a quick nap indoors during the day. In contrast, it's very quiet at night, and the ambiance is excellent. The distinctive Huizhou architectural style is prominent, and overall it's quite good. The owner also arranges for an uncle to pick up guests and luggage from the bus station, and their responses are very prompt. Courtyard No. 2 is only a five-minute walk from Yueyao Pond and the Ancestral Temple, making it ideal for early risers to snap photos before the crowds arrive.

Banyan Tree, as always, lives up to its excellent reputation. The service is top-notch, the environment is spotless, and they cater to your every need! Upon arriving at Banyan Tree, the welcome ceremony after getting out of the car was very distinctive of Huizhou. The fermented glutinous rice wine was also delicious and not too sweet. A waitress in the dinner restaurant was absolutely wonderful – always smiling, taking orders, and providing service that was incredibly professional. She truly deserves commendation! We dined at the dinner restaurant for two consecutive evenings, and she served us both times. Her service was impeccable in every aspect, making guests feel very well taken care of. She definitely adds value to Banyan Tree! The hotel's photography service was also excellent; the service was great, the technique was superb, and they were very polite. The photographer was of high caliber, enduring the heat without any complaints, taking fantastic photos for guests from all angles! Upon checking out, we were even given a special Huizhou gift 🎁. It was truly a perfect stay! Fantastic!
