KKelchengHighly highly recommend to stay in 上善若水 民宿 if you visit 宏村。 The place is conveniently located near 月昭, which is one of the most pretty sight in 宏村。 Hotel is beautiful , spacious and very clean , with a big yard where you can sip tea and enjoy the serene vibe of the place. There are 9 rooms ,all nicely designed by interior designer. Service by the owners, husband and wife pair is impeccable. You feel welcome immediately with attention to your every need! Feels like you are staying with friends who provide you with comfort in a foreign place. Home cooked breakfast every morning and great quality sleep every night! Some photos of the hotel below. Truly a gem find in 宏村！！

XXiaoyuanziThe entire courtyard was charmingly decorated. The guesthouse was housed in a Qing Dynasty-style building. The rooms were wooden cabins, and the facilities were generally very complete, including a smart toilet. The rooms were duplexes, requiring climbing stairs. The bathroom was on the lower level, and the bed was on the upper level, which wasn't particularly convenient. However, it was a nice change from typical hotel rooms for families with children. The upper level had underfloor heating, so it wasn't cold at night. There was no TV in the room, and the Wi-Fi wasn't great. The owner was very welcoming. He called ahead to pick us up and even helped us with our luggage to the bus stop when we left. We were very satisfied with the service.

The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

GGuest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰. I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

TTaozijiang€This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect; it's super convenient for both nearby attractions and finding great food. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable that I fell asleep the moment I hit the pillow. The bathroom was also completely odor-free. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was lightning fast, and they even thoughtfully recommended some fun places to visit nearby. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all nutritious and delicious. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

The lake-view room we booked had a view of the Moon Pond, and from the third-floor terrace, we could see the rooftops of Hongcun Village and the Moon Pond. It was very close to the Moon Pond, about a 100-meter walk. My family was also very satisfied.

GGuest UserThe B&B is located in the Hongcun Scenic Area, not far from the West Gate 2. There are many choices for eating nearby. You can also go out of the scenic area to eat opposite the bridge. The owner of the B&B is attentive and will drive a tricycle to the nearby Zhongzhou parking lot to pick us up. It is highly recommended to have a two-bedroom and one-living room type. The space is large and there is a large living room. It occupies the entire floor of a house in the B&B. The price is very high. Although the homestay is not in the core area, it is not far from Nanhu Lake, and it is very quiet at night, rests well, very satisfied, will recommend to friends and relatives.

BBaiwenburuyijianyaThis was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

WWangpinganwwI came to Hongcun to play with my relatives and friends and stayed at this thirty-sangshi hotel. The overall experience is very comfortable, the Huizhou aesthetic design is very textured, the room is clean and tidy, the two-bedroom layout is spacious, the living is very comfortable, the health and environment are given full marks, the service and facilities are also in place. The only small regret is that the balcony view is relatively general, but the victory is very close to Hongcun. It is super convenient to travel to the scenic spot. It is very suitable for friends who want to live comfortably and conveniently visit Hongcun.
