Guest UserIf you’re staying in Hohhot and want a genuine, memorable experience, this is the place!!!
I can’t recommend this homestay enough. From the moment we stepped into the compound, the warmth of the family was immediately felt. You’ll be welcomed by a lovely lady, her husband, and his brother, who treat you less like a guest and more like family.
Within minutes of arriving, they greeted us with snacks, a gift, and let us know they were already preparing a local dinner. We sat down with them that evening, sharing a spread of local dishes and drinks, it was a genuinely special night. I don’t speak a word of Chinese, and yet through Translate we had a wonderful time together. Before heading to bed, they asked what time we needed to leave in the morning so breakfast would be ready for us which was very nice!
Morning came with their dogs greeting us and a delicious homemade local breakfast waiting at the table.
As for the yurt itself, it’s beautiful and incredibly cozy inside, exactly what you’d hope for. There’s heating in there in case you get cold as well.
We stayed two nights, and on our second evening we had to turn in early for an early flight. The other guest, though, stayed up late singing and dancing with the family, which honestly made me wish we could have stayed longer.
I’d give this place a 20/10 if I could. I booked it thinking it was just somewhere interesting to sleep for the night. What I didn’t know was that it would end up being a highlight of my trip to China.

Guest UserAn absolutely wonderful travel experience! The hotel boasts a fantastic location, and I was very pleased with both the service and the environment. Enjoying a coffee in the hotel cafe with the canyon breeze in the morning was incredibly relaxing. If you're lucky, you might even catch a breathtaking sunset, truly a golden glow painting the mountains and rivers into a dream!

Guest UserThe room was very clean and warm. His B&B actually had heating. The boss said it was graphene electric floor heating. He said it had rained in Hohhot a few days ago and he was worried that we would be cold. He had already heated it before we came. The boss was very special. I was so enthusiastic and gave me a large bucket of pure water. The facilities are complete and even include my favorite disposable toilet pads, disposable water cups and mouthwash cups. In addition, there are huge fruits in the yard.

I really enjoyed the charming courtyard setting; it felt very cozy and comfortable to stay in. We drove all the way from Ulanqab, and as we planned to visit Lvshuiliang the next day, we searched for nearby options and booked this guesthouse. It's a traditional rural-style courtyard, very clean and well-maintained. There weren't many other guests, and the room amenities were quite comprehensive.

The room itself would have been fine if we didn’t see bugs or mini cockroaches in the room and in the laundry room which then made me itchy all night long. There’s also so much construction going on where you have to take an elevator first up to the 3rd floor then switch to another one to get to your own floor. It was so inconvenient. And the elevator hallways were so dark and creepy looking. There’s only one washer and one dryer and the wait took so long to use the machines. I waited until midnight to be able to do my laundry. So inconvenient. I also really dislike the wet shower and they only provide disposable towels which I also absolutely hate and is so unenvironmentally friendly. The breakfast was limited in options and despite them saying it was available until 10, at 9:45 they were already putting everything away. The staff weren’t that friendly upon check in but at check out they were very friendly.

This hotel is well-equipped and offers excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly. There's a fantastic lamb offal soup and *shaomai* (steamed dumplings) place near the hotel that I highly recommend!
They also guarantee late check-out until 3 PM, which is incredibly convenient for business travelers.

The service is okay for the price, but its location is very convenient as it’s located near the city centre and near the subway entrance.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for three nights. Although the hotel is small, the room and furniture were clean and relatively new. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and always tried to provide anything we needed.
The hotel is located in a residential area, so it was a little difficult to find. We had reserved a non-smoking room, but we were initially assigned a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. After I informed the staff that it was not the room we had booked and that it smelled of smoke, they immediately changed our room, which I appreciated.
However, there were several areas that could be improved. There was no air conditioning in the lobby or hallways, making those areas very hot and stuffy. The air conditioner in our room was installed directly above the bed, and it was quite noisy at night, which affected our sleep.
There was no daily housekeeping during our stay. The room did not have a refrigerator, and the hotel did not offer a shared laundry facility. The bathroom combined the shower and toilet in the same space, and the water pressure was quite weak.
Overall, the owner was kind and helpful, but the hotel could be much more comfortable with better ventilation, quieter air conditioning, daily room cleaning, and improved bathroom facilities.

JianbingzhizaolianhetiThe location of this guesthouse is super convenient! It's right on the pedestrian street, near Dazhao Temple, and close to all the attractions. It was great to take a stroll and enjoy the night views after dinner, and come back for a rest after exploring during the day. The parking was also a big plus! We came during the May Day holiday, and with parking being so tight around here, having a dedicated spot was a lifesaver. The only issue was the cleanliness; the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and there were obvious traces left by the previous guests, which was quite uncomfortable and disappointing.
